I was constantly waiting to upgrade my sight to MAX so I could use all 16 squares at the same time, but it never came. I believed there was no end after the last wave. I actually was looking forward to some kind of rest time so I could prepare for new and stronger enemies. Overall, a great strategy game, I would like to play more waves.
Great art, but difficult to understand combat, was clicking abilities buttons randomly(
@floke thank you for this amazing feedback!
@brainles-etertainment Ohh, seems to be a resolution issue. Try to go fullscreen, you should click exactly on blue button right below transparent one in the bottom right corner of the screen. Let us know if you managed to play our game.
Love art style! Lovely mood and smooth animations. Would like to check more of your works (games or artworks) if you have blog or some social medias where you share it)
I felt like I was fishing paranormal entities in stardew) maybe sounds were kinda confusing, constantly was trying to find a printer and phone to interect. Would like to see more of this, perhepse some others levels and/or mechanics. For the first time playing for some reason was difficult to realize what exactly i had to do to keep the radio device at the right frequency so I died, and after a dark pause I could not interect with anything, not sure if it supose to work like that. Start the second round only after reload itchi.io page. It would be helpful to see instructions on what to do after death, or at least reload game button. Like environment and design. Good work)
Fun game overall! I like graphics very much. Took me 30 minutes to figure out how to donate souls, and few tasks missed descriptions, I mean no text at all was written there, some bug probably
Somehow reminds me baba is you) not much to criticise, good mechanics, add better design and here we have another puzzle game for steam
Love it! Nice and chill, but did not get whether elements had an impact on a battle
Absolutely loved it! I managed to grow quite a bit after eating the big red jellyfish, which gave me the satisfaction of conquering something bigger than me. It's a great stress-reliever! Great job!
The whole soundtrack that came out deserves to be placed on a sound platform, hahahah
It was quite challenging for me, hahaha! I couldn't beat the first level for about 5 minutes, and I struggled with the landings, couldn't get the timing right. Fun idea, though!
I wasn’t entirely sure what the game was about or why I was earning points, but it was a lot of fun! I focused on not losing all my points and somehow made it to the end. And yes — mission accomplished! Feeling proud of myself!
By the way, it worked perfectly on my Mac! At least, I think so.
I really loved how you started your drawings with basic shapes and gradually progressed to line art (I saw your post in my feed).
Not only is the art great, but the narrative is also compelling. It’s remarkable how effectively you convey a sense of depression. This game serves as a powerful reminder that games can be incredible mediums for sharing stories, emotions, and feelings.
So far, it’s the best and most touching game of Ludum Dare 56 for me! Great work!
I found it a bit challenging to figure out how to prevent getting hit after a jump, love the art!
Unfortunately, the riddle with the books doesn’t load for some reason. The only thing I could interact with was a cat. The square and circle were present on the scene, likely for testing features, but they weren’t interactive. It seems there are quite a few bugs in the game. Still, I love the art and the cat. meow!
I really like the rhythmic concept, it’s quite challenging! I think using just a few input keys at a time would be sufficient, rather than requiring all of them simultaneously. Overall, it’s still a lot of fun!
I found the level with the yellow bugs a bit challenging at first, but once I recognized the pattern, everything became clear. The level featuring sounds was somewhat confusing, the overlapping sounds made it difficult to focus while I clicked on each one. It would be helpful to have the option to mute the previous sound if I choose to listen to another one temporarily. Overall, it’s a fantastic narrative puzzle game!
I didn't get what I was supposed to do to beat the second level. I believe I somehow need to increase the attractiveness of the silver golem, but it literally says 'unchangeable,' so it seems impossible to clear this level. It’s probably a dead end. Anyway, it would be great to know what score I should reach. I love the art, though!
@mijio Gosh, I was so focused on enhancing its attractiveness that I couldn't figure it out. Some hints would definitely be useful, but I’ll give it another chance because it’s worth it. I was really captivated by the first level!
Great game! I wish I could maintain my rock defence a bit longer without it getting destroyed so easily by my own actions
It's a fun little game, and I really enjoyed it—until the bugs killed me after being interrupted for about 15 seconds. Still, I'm curious how many levels I need to beat to unlock all the upgrades?
First of all, congratulations on your first Ludum Dare! You did a great job! It's a cozy little game, and I really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is fantastic, especially for dino lovers. I did run into one issue – I had a dinosaur get stuck in a fence on the wilderness side, and it wouldn’t move, even though I was literally riding it. I loved the petting mechanic, but I still couldn’t figure out how to play ball. I tried throwing it to the dinos but couldn’t quite make it work, although I did manage to score several times in the wilderness.
