would like there to be music
I like it! I don't particularly like the combination mechanic to get new units, but it wasn't too bad either. The graphics are pretty cool and the gameplay felt pretty polished. But I really missed some music and sounds. Overall a really good job! :)
I like the control scheme and how you get faster/learn them like a typing rhythm. Wish there was some kind of sound for the battles and more information what the units and upgrades do or are balanced against each other. Feels like speed is more important than tactics.
Really cool game! I feel like i was getting better at it as i played.
Don't understand what half of the effect where but still finished the game ^^
Someone has been playing a lot of Helldivers 2 I see  !
A fun little game that tackled the theme head on. I liked the core idea, it looks simple at first sight but once you play around with it for a bit you see how deep it is. The stratagems-like input seemed like a gimmick at first, but once things get hectic and you start summoning armies like crazy it started making sense (as a game-design choice I mean). The graphics were simple but got the job done.
Overall, a very tightly designed game and a great LD submission!
Interesting combination of key combos and summoning units, perhaps could use a grace period for opposing sides to set up armies to start the fight off.
I'm far too slow for this game! I like the mechanics though, and they're well explored and utilised in this. The graphics have a great look to them too!
The balancing could be a bit better. I wasn't really sure what was supposed to be happening. The enemies would win every time on level 1 no matter how quickly I summoned and buffed my units. Maybe I could try more stuff, but it's hard to analyze what exactly went wrong. I think it could definitely be fun with some tweaks so maybe the earlier levels are easier. Also unrelated to the game but the devs having usernames bambam, bumbum, and bimbim is a really funny bit, I love that.
The gameplay really makes summoning as the core part of the experience in an intriguing way, which is both fun and strategic. Good work!
The graphics, especially the level tilemaps, reminded me of Advance Wars or Wargroove, which is pretty rad. The Helldivers 2 influence is strong in this one. Maybe I just didn't understand why my number ticked down to 0, but it felt very arbitrary as to why I was losing. Beat the first couple of levels by spamming more guys. Didn't really seem to matter which army size I picked, as long as I had more units than the enemy. Maybe it did, however it didn't feel that way to me. Others have mentioned it already, but playing the game in complete silence felt a little hollow. Sound effects for inputting combos and the battle raging would have been great! It was still fun watching the little guys duke it out. The knights rolling on the ground was hilarious. Nice job!
Feel like a APM of the AI should be slower as it seems impossible to both summon and direct troops as fast as it can. And with the way damage is calculated, it feels like APM is the most important thing here. Maybe it was supposed to feel like that, but to me it felt like I needed to get lucky with the path traversal.
Really cool RTSey thing, that's pretty ambitious for a LD game but you did it well. Nice job!
