So big game for 2 days! Mix RPG-like and bullet game. Awesome! I'd like to see kinda magnet, cuz sometimes i have sooo many rewardsa and much time need to take it all.

This feels incredibly polished for just 2 days of work! I collected all 5 creatures with 10 health bars. The core gameplay is solid and reminds me a lot of Enter the Gungeon and I love the variety of gun types—it adds a lot of fun! Amazing job—great entry!

pirate-rob 2024-10-07 09:08

The guns feel pretty bad to use, they lack punch and the accuracy feels quite awful

The lighting was too dark, I felt like I was staring at a black screen for most of the game :/

Overall fun game though, I like how powerful money feels in terms of how easily you can earn stuff from the shop

I like how many systems and the amount of content put into it. Good job on that! However I feel like some more love into the game feel should have been prioritized. In my opinion, for a compo game, feel is usually more important than content, because it just grabs you and make you feel good to play. Overall it's a pretty solid entry and you did an amazing job!

sviborg 2024-10-07 13:34

Great game for only 48 hours! 🎮 I'm impressed with the variety of systems and content. I wish the shooting feel and vibrancy were a little better, but overall it's a great project! 👏

@custodi @foursay @sviborg Thank you. I again had too much content planned and cut down a lot more... @pirate-rob thanks for the feedback, Im going to look into it after work and try to get a post LD version out there that fixes the issues. @crocidb Thank you too for your feedback! Could you kindly tell me where you felt that the game feel was lacking most? Id like to do a post LD version, so any feedback is great!

The amount of content is really impressive! The music is as beautiful, as the graphics! Amazing!

Very fun game! The low movement speed annoyed me at first but later I realized that the skins give you more :D I found two things you might want to improve: First, disable shooting while reloading. In theory you could shoot indefinitely when you always reload after the first bullet. Second, you should reset mechanics on reload. The speed-up on the AK persisted afer reloading automatically. That made the boss rather easy, because I just overwhelmed him :) Nonetheless the game was really fun to play. It's nice to see that you managed to finish such a well-made game in the time available :) Keep up the good work!

The numerical design is very reasonable and the operation is very cool, Vegeta!

codeman1010 2024-10-08 09:18

Absolutely fantastic, so much variety in weapons, and power ups and enemies

Sorry it was a bit of a mess when we tried your game on stream. I hope you had the opportunity to understand a bit my feedback in between all the meta-discussions.

I really enjoyed your game and only stop playing because it was past 1 AM here. Overall you did an amazing job, and the fact that this is a compo is the cherry on the cake!

I think that most of my feedback are already implemented in the post-jam version so I won't duplicate them here.

The only one that is left is: you could improve your "Current Weapon" vs "Collided weapon" UI, it is a bit too wordy and confusing for a player like me.

But I will come back and try to beat your after having slept a bit! It was a ton of fun!

Great game! Loved the variety in weapons and systems. The shooting could feel a bit snappier, but overall gj!

clare-chan1738 2024-10-10 19:28

Really cool game! I tried it on the LD page but the screen was too small to see everything. Once I played it on itch, it went very well! I liked playing as Vegeta and found the overall gameplay pretty solid! :)

archeroffaith 2024-10-10 19:44

Thank you for your game! I see, it looks really huge, you are amazing! I know it has small levels, but it is well balanced, so it is really interesting to play much more that regular 5-10 minutes!

thomas-gelman 2024-10-10 20:04

Fun game! I had some moments of confusion but once I realized how OP you can make yourself the difficulty curve between levels started to make a whole lot more sense. I would say, however, that the boss level is a fair bit easier than the one before it, which made it feel a little underwhelming. That said, I can see how this could be fleshed out and expanded, and the vision behind it pretty clearly. I had a lot of fun with it. Well done!

nickhellquist 2024-10-13 00:30

Very nice game, a lot of content for a comp game! I like the art and sfx, felt very fitting for the looks :) Overall a very nice entry, well done!

str8griz 2024-10-13 00:43

Pretty wild accomplishment for a game jam! Simple but effect art style to make it happen as well! I played the posted jam version and had a lot of fun. Cool game loop going back to the main hub after each level.

charlychive 2024-10-13 00:52

Really nice gameplay, love the execution on it, feels nice to play!

mrspeaker 2024-10-13 09:09

Nothing to add that others haven't said (especially the "holy crap you did this in 2 days?!"), my only bit of critical feedback is that the music felt a bit inappropriate for the vibe of the game: either something more upbeat, or maybe even nothing at all. I know everyone says "adding music elevates your game", but if it's not done with intent then it can make things worse.

But, that's a nitpick. Still an incredible effort!

klaus-peter 2024-10-13 12:20

Nice level design and quite a lot of content packed into two days! The balancing felt a bit confusing to me, one or two skins had the equivalent of 7 bonus hearts for the price of 1 or so. I also thought the the shooting felt a bit boring sometimes. It's just my personal opinion, but I like it more when shooters have more screen shake and maybe light effects to give me a feeling of carrying a gun with a lot of punch behind it.

sasa-2010 2024-10-19 09:31

Wow! The game is so wonderful! Keep making games!
