platforming could be a little less janky, teleporting through the bottom of platforms is a little strange. Overall a fun little game though - I like the music!

Nice to see a different interpretation of the theme! It was a good idea putting a completion time at the end, that suckered me into replaying to try and get a quicker time - 38 seconds is my personal best ;)
The beacon is lit and I summoned the forces! The game was cute but quite short :) I also watched the LotR clip you added and got lost there :D Good sound effects. Very retro.
Thank you for your experience.
AND ROHAN WILL ANSWER!
My time was 40, really nice tight short platformer, controls are good too. It seems like you only need to hit the bottom of a platform to be transported to the top in kind of a coyote time system, it's great that its there and definitely was critical to me beating the game but it just feels interesting compared to what I'm used to.
I like the sprites, and the animated beacon fires.
Cool game!
Some issues witht the platform mechanics but overall it's a great little game with a NES feeling :) nice job
If I see PICO-8, I'll give it a like without hesitation. Decent work. I'm not a fan of platformers, but this one I was able to get through. I like the graphics and the music is present, which is definitely a plus.
This was a cool interpetation of the theme! I think there's a little work that could be done to make the platforming experience a little smoother - the player's position sometimes seems to register in weird spots, and it's a bit unforgiving (tiny bit of coyote time maybe?).
That said, this reminded me of a really short precision platformer. On one of the last levels, which had a lot more height to it, I got almost to the end but then missed a jump (totally my fault) and fell all the way down to the bottom. Felt for a moment like I was playing Bennett Foddy's "Getting Over It", but in a good way. I made a mistake that I could learn from, and it made it even more rewarding when I beat that level (after a few more tries ). Overall fun little short game, great work!
My time was 39. Nice to see PICO-8 game. Controls felt good and overall nice entry.
This was fun, I like being able to see how fast I completed the game and it makes me want to play more. Nice work!
My time was 73. Love seeing PICO8 games. Nice entry. I like that my character pulls myself up to the platform when I am just a little below it. Timing and positioning the jumps was tight.
Short and sweet. Graphics reminded me of an old Atari game called Terry's Big Adventure. Platforming felt a bit snappy but never in a forgviging way, which is better than the alternative.
Nice little experience. It felt just like a PICO8 game. The platforming was unique, not to say it didn't work; I think it did. Good job!
Beacons are lit, Gondor called for help :) Nice and short platformer, it's amazing people are still making cartridge games ! An extra pixel for jump would make jumping more fluid, you don't have much room for error :p By the way, I don't know if it's me but sometimes it feels like I'm snapping through the platforms.
This is actually the second "light the lanterns" game I've played during this compo. This is definitely the one that was more fun of the two. The jumping and platform detection needs more work and the game is just a bit too easy. I love platformers and I like that this one isn't difficult, but it goes a bit too far in the other direction. Nice idea though!
Realy special that plattforms feels kinda magnetic :0
Cute little platformer. Short and sweet! ^^
yeah another pico 8 lover!!! the collision with platforms is a bit weird but it's cool to see a game with a beginning, an end and a good gameplay loop. The music is very cool and the whole thing is encouraging, I can't wait to see what happens next.
love pico-8

I like the simple concept, even though the platforming is a little janky. Music and SFX are on point though. Overall a good entry, good job! :)
Nice consistent graphic style. My time was 44
