Kinda hard on my laptop touchpad so i couldn't beat it, but I'm impressed with how much you got done. I've never been able to get a game to the point of including an upgrades menu like that. Very nice.
@richjbaron Hahaha I think it is too harsh for people using touchpad too. I think it would be a great idea to reduce the difficulty a little bit more. Thank you for playing my game!
It's short and sweet! It's obviously not very innovative but for a first entry it's probably better to focus on making a solid, complete game as you did. Congrats!
It's a great game! The creatures are super cute. It took me a while to optimize the level up options and finally passed it.
I think you nailed your first entry to Ludum Dare. Getting something complete and NOT over scoped is never easy. Just for the sake of my mouse I wish there was an auto-click option when just pressing.
I feel the progress icons are misleading. They signify upgrades not bosses, right? The other thing that caught my attention was the health bars, which had inconsistency in how they fill up. I'm pretty sure it's the simple horizontal flipping causing it.
I do like the graphic style and the mice are cute. And I think you were creative with the upgrades.

Simple and fun game. Great job for a first entry! Some audio would have really helped. And I noticed that the enemy health bars inverted based on the side of the screen they came from.
Great job! The variety on upgrades, as well as the use of the art style is very cool to see. Loved the creature and use of black and white, made for a great vibe!
Very satisfying game! But in my experience you can always upgrade damage and doesn't need anything else, so it's a bit strange.
this was a lot of fun, I noticed the faster the enemies started spawning the more my anxiety was getting worse, it took a few tries but I was able to get through a full bar, great work!
Was a bit hard but was fun!! I'm not sure I undertand the upgrades though. It seems when I get an upgrade I get all of them? Why is it right click to select instead of LMS?
Beautiful 1bit graphics! I really liked the animations, especially. The difficulty ramps a bit too quick in my opinion, though I understand that it's because the game is quite short. It's really fun. Good job!
Very cute game, if it was left click rather than right click for upgrades it would also work on mobile which would be fun. I love the art you made for this so much, very well made overall!
The title is an amazing tutorial! I love the graphics and animation; they build a great atmosphere and are beautiful. Slimes are so adorable that it's easy to want to defend them, even though every other game in the world has kind of drilled into my head that they are the enemy lol. I love the design of the last monster; it is so surreal. It’s great that the game feels so complete, even though it is a compo entry, and your first Ludum Dare. well done!
