This guy is a GENIUS. Beat's really catching, I love the way the gun's shooting and also graphics. It's clear that truly hard work has been done.
Thanks for the comments! Added in the main menu toggle to just keep the button pressed to fire, so everyone can choose a more suitable variant for themself
this is pretty neat! a fun little story for the ghost, haha. and i'm glad you added the keep button pressed to fire option — works really well for me on a trackpad :p. the music really adds to the effect!

Cool game. Guns in hell work : good to know .. ha ha ha .. Would like to be able to pick up more health in heaven. But nicely balanced for the other parts. Well done overall!

This game is amazing. The music really suits the situation in the game itself. There is an awesome feeling when in the last seconds you have time to go to heaven and rest before you die. The graphics are great too. Thank you, got a great mood

Get to heaven feels like heaven! A great sensation of releaf. Very smart aproach to the theme.
Very cool concept and take on the theme! Also love that you included a "hold button for continuous fire" option. It would be cool if the heaven/hell mirrored levels were larger, with some exploration gameplay thrown in!
Haha, imagine going back and forth between heaven and hell. I love the execution! Somehow oddly this game reminds me of the third stage of necrodancer.
Intense gameplay, and I love the detail of how the ghost deteriorates more and more! I like being able to select levels. Great game!
@exaggegen, in hell I run in the corners and shoot like crazy, in heaven I took the healing orbs and don't worry about being at full health beacuse it's +50 points :D , then before hell start again you go in a different corner and try not to get hit

Fun game with an interesting and fitting concept! I love how chaotic and panicky it gets over time, with the relieving period of heaving in between. The music changes adds to the switching between the panic mode and the relief mode too
At first I thought the game was going to just be pretty simple, but I was quite surprised at the amount of the detail, like how you could accidentally shoot the healing orbs. At first I was abit upset when I saw 8 enemies surrounding and spawncamping me when it became back to hell mode, but later I realized actually the positions of the enemies are kind of the same, and heaven was not just a time to scavenge for power ups but also to position myself at a safe place. The gameplay is surprisingly deep!

This gets tricky fast! I really like the integration of the theme with the heaven/hell concept here, definitely works well, and ways to use the mechanics definitely emerge after a few minutes of playing as @oolimry mentions. Movement was a bit sticky around objects but otherwise a smooth experience, with nice clear artwork supporting the gameplay.
Got only about 8k in score lol. Fun game and nice concept. I like the crude art of the ghost. Maybe there could be a grace period after getting hit? I lost 80% of my health at once.
Nice game, the music is thrilling. I like the gameplay with the pauses to calm down. My only complaint is that the difficulty curve kicks in a bit too late and a bit too hard. I got through the first ten or so stages without taking a single hit and then died two stages later.
Heaven feels a bit empty, may you could add some non aggressive NPCs roam there, or you could add a big bearded man looking through your documents while you're there.
Funny concept, I liked the presentation and how shooting felt. As for the possible improvements, I think this concept can be explored further in the future, and the game is a bit too easy for my taste (especially when you are able to restore your health).

My son and I had a lot of fun with this. I wish the enemy spawner checked to see whether the baddies would spawn on top of you, because that got me killed a couple of times. Overall, this was a good entry to the compo, great job!
good job with this one! I like the rest from clicking the 10 seconds of heaven. I think the gun upgrades were a good idea, id like to see more done with that. Congratulations!
