this game is so cute! (the music choice is impeccable.) (the bees are SO CUTE) i went "omg !!" when i dragged the bee to the beegin button haha. love the puns too. the game itself took a little bit to understand how to play, but it was real fun at the end! i never made it to 30 bees, played for about 10ish minutes. very fun :D
I like the idea of the game. For me the tutorial was a bit overwhelming at first. In my first run I had no idea what's going on, what's the difference between the different flowers, how the resources work and why my bees died. I think I'm still not 100% sure, but it was fun to explore the mechanics. :)
This could grow into a very cool game, you should keep working on it!
Like the slow build up along with the strategy of what plants to make. There is a lot to figure out at first but this could be a solid game. Already has the fun factor once you figure out how to best to start. Good job!
Love the puns. This game is very cute. Nice looking, sweet music. The dragging / placing felt good. The sound effect on the drop added to that feeling. The pause menu diagrams were very helpful. I like the start menu too: "these buttons don't work, oh! I need to drag-a-bee".. wonderful.
This was a really fun, cute game. The instructions are a bit vague, though, so it took a little trial and error to get it figured out.
really complex mechanics to be explained only through some description.. this could use some more levels that work as some tutorial to explain all the stuff.. overall nice game

The tutorial was overwhelming I think, but, the idea looks nice. Changing the graphics could be a nice game
Properly nice little game and good use of the theme. I was a little apprehensive if i'd like it at first but before i knew it the expansionist inside me had created 28 bees! (before they all died :frowning2:). As for things i wished had been there, i found it difficult to see at a glance where all my bees are and in what state they're in. They kind of blended together with the rest of the art.
A really interesting take on the theme, I was a bit overwhelmed at first and hat to look at the resources tab like ever 2 seconds. But in the end I figured it out. Really well done, everything just kinda fits!

Super cute game! It was fun to play and I'm obsessed with bees so I was excited to see a bee themed game pop up!
The music fit well. This is a nice little management game, and took a bit to figure out, even with just a few things to keep track of. But once you get the hang of it it is super satisfying. The art is cute, too.

Best bee management game I ever played!
Overall very nice game, might seem hard at first, but is actually quite easy when understanding how it works. It can be hard to spot flowers with no resources, maybe darkening the one that are empty would have been better.

Suuuuuuuuuuper cute game! There was a surprising amount of focus necessary despite the simple mechanisms.
I was a bit lost as to how things worked, I was staring at the chart in the pause menu after losing a bunch of bees. I think a simple Bee image with a - Nectar Image and a little clock might have been enough to break my moment of non-thinking. ^^;; But maybe I'm just that dense right now haha.
Other than me being a bit thick, my only actual critique would be that the "beegin" required clicking and dragging a bee to it. Before figuring it out I was refreshing the page thinking I'd broken something. Having an in-game mechanism used to activate something before the tutorial is a risky choice and I don't think it paid off here.
The rest of the game MORE than made up for it, holy beeswax petunia. I went in mildly irked and by the end was head bobbing and mildly sad that it cut me off when I won.

Wow, I went into this thinking worker placement I got this!
NOPE NOPE NOPE I did not - had to open that menu like a million times - 4 bee colonies died in the making of my victory.
Super cute game - towards the end I was trying to figure out a strategy for flowers, but I am still a little lots on it TBH.
I think with a few small adjustments you could really be on to something here

Absolutely love the idea of a bee game. The implementation is really cute and challenging.
I'd love to get the hang of this, I will definitely come back to this game later. It would be really helpful to see (whether in-game or on the game page as a guide) to see for sure what each resource is, and what the bars on the plants represent. That's the part that currently has me confused - I assume it's nectar and pollen, but I'm not sure which flowers to send my bees to, and what it means when a plant is greyed out. Help?
Nitpicks: I too was initially stuck at the 'beegin' screen for a bit, but nobody in the comments mentioned the game being broken so I kept trying.
Very fun and pretty game that uses the 10 seconds mechanic really well due to how the ramping action count causes it to be somewhat dynamic. it shows how 10 seconds can be quite a lot of time in the beginning while you still only have a handfull of bees to being nowhere near enough to get everything would like to do done towards the end.
@otterfaelure but dragging the bee to the button _is_ the tutorial! how sneaky! By requiring you to drag the bee, we guarantee you've understood that dragging bees is kind of the main interaction mechanism, even before you've had to think about stats or what the game is or how it plays.
Dragging bee is very fun! I like it, graphics is also very nice. In the beginning is not obvious at all what you need to do and why did all your bees die

I like it! It took me a while to figure out the details of how the games works, so a more thorough tutorial would've helped, but once I got the hang of it, it was really fun trying to maintain the balance of resources and the bee's jobs.
I liked the game. I didn't immediately understand how to enter it, but the idea is interesting. The gameplay is also not immediately clear, but if you figure it out, it becomes interesting. Art and music perfectly combine to create a certain mood. Great!

Nice one :smile: It's almost the beest game from fun I've played so far from LD51. Slightly not clear what actually happened to my bees at some point and why everyone died, but probably I didn't spend enough time to figure out the mechanic
