This game is phenomenal! Everything works together to bring a great experience. Both music & visuals compliment the gameplay nicely especially with the smooth fading between the two states. The switching between mortality and not also leads to some nice gameplay and puzzles especially with the things like enemies only being active in one state.
Amazing art and overall quality! I would definitely play it in my own time!

OOH! This game has extreme polish! I really enjoyed it. The only thing I didn't enjoy was the sound of the text but that's just a personal problem. The level designs were really great and I really appreciated the checkpoints. Also reminding the player that they can jump was noticed. Great look, great puzzles, and great stress from being chased by ghosts!

Wow, what an amazing job! When I went into it, I was amazed by visuals. The graphics are very well put together and the music really adds to the atmosphere. I love how everything looks together. It's so mysterious, yet intriguing. What a cool approach to the theme! I love this concept. I especially appreciate all the checkpoints in the game. I'm so glad I don't have to redo puzzles I've already solved, it's great. It's a feature I wish all modern games would have. I enjoyed your game a lot!! All of you worked very hard on this and it's definitely noticable. So good job, well done to each of you!

Wow, this is really high quality! Obviously the graphics are great, and I really like the puzzle mechanics so far. Unfortunately, I'm not sure how to get past the hallway with 2 ghosts and a single button on the ground, with bars between the button and door (around 4-5 levels in): stuck.png
I'm sure I'm missing something obvious, but any chance I can get a hint? I thought about trying to attract the ghosts to stand on the button for me after I went through the bars, but no dice.
@nataku92 you have the solution right but unfortunately there's a rare bug that can happen here where the pressure plate breaks. I'm going to look tonight and see if I can fix it!

Really clever use of the mechanic through the level design, easy to play but with some interesting puzzles. Simple (but challenging), to the point & interesting. The art works super well. Bravo!
Amazing entry. After that ending I had to immediately replay it once more to see if there is alternate ending where you just decide to keep the 10 second power and exit the tomb. Was disappointed when the game wouldn't let me. Love the graphics and the mood. Puzzles were well paced and the game ended before it became tedious.
@burst hah, in hindsight we really wish there was an alternate ending. The ending was thought up and added VERY late, and it's sort of a coincidence that it seems to imply an alternate. Once we played it one of us immediately said we should add a secret ending, but it was just too late!

That's what I shouted at my monitor when I finished the game. In all honesty, those ghosts were terrifying. I think if this was a 2d or topdown game, the effect wouldn't be here at all. But with the lack of peripheral vision plus fairly fast ghosts and instant kills, it was kinda scary holding down those buttons. Luckily it wasn't TOO hard and I got away in time for most of the buttons, so it all turned out well in the end.
The puzzles were nice and clean. You could understand almost immediately what you needed to do. The main X-factor was how to handle the ghosts that were going to swarm you after turning mortal. Actually now that I think of it, there was a puzzle where a ghost was hiding behind 2 companion cubes. I put the cube down on a button and I didn't see anything nearby that opened up. I assume it opened up something down the hallway then.
My favorite puzzle was the last one. Partially because it was different than the others, and partially because it happens after an intense section of dodging ghosts and I finally didn't have to worry about them anymore!
Neat game and it must've taken a fair bit of balance work to make a lot of those puzzles so tight. Well done.
I love the illustration! The game itself is so polished and well made. Encountered no bugs at all. I like the music and the atmosphere. Very fun puzzles, stressful in a good way. Enjoyed all of it. Great job!

This game looks and feels amazing, I had a lot of fun playing it. My one qualm was not being able to cancel the 'mortal' mode, but that was just impatience tbh. I really liked how the music was the same in both modes, but more intense in the mortal one
I did end up softlocked in (what I think) was the last level, with the floating platforms :( I died after unlocking the door, but without going in it, and then when I got respawned, it was slightly to the side of the map, and I just fell into the void and died repeatedly. Other than that, it was a great submission!

The controls feel perfect, the implementation of the theme is nice, everything is very clear and the puzzles are well thought and just the right amount of them.

It's nice that you added hands and a dot in the middle of the screen to limit FPS induced nausea, but I still was a bit nauseous I admit. I had to limit the framerate so that the game didn't feel too choppy and it was a bit better then.
The game that amazed me! The cover is very attractive to me! Beautiful graphics, suitable sound, smooth controls. And a narrator that shapes the atmosphere. The mechanics of the game are set up to fit the narrative setting very well. Very exciting chase. I encountered a bug though, I was on the bridge level, fell off the platform and then the game didn't restart, I had to quit the whole game. That doesn't detract from the game though. I love this idea! Great work!

Liked the story and was able to get to the end! Liked the puzzles and the how the music changed when you were solid. I also liked how the textures felt like they were inverted, but both color palettes worked really well to communicate when you were a ghost versus ghost. Nice job!

Awesome graphics and mood
Amazing game! One of the best ones I've played this jam. Everything just worked so well together - the graphics, the narrative, the music, the gameplay... This was just perfect, as another commenter has said. I also loved the attention to detail - my favorite one was when the narrator instantly stopped you at the end when saying hold. Speaking of which, the narrator was absolutely awesome - reminded me a bit of Inscryption. A really minor nitpick was that the transition between levels could use some work - the music restarting each level felt a bit jarring. Other than that, incredible entry!
So glad I managed to catch this one before it's over. Phenomenal game really liked the art style and gameplay. Really liked the last section with the low gravity was a nice little bit of twist at the end which was nice too.
