THE CAT NOISES ARE SO GOOD! ☆⌒(*＾-＾)v The art is so pleasing! Oh my gosh, it's so smooth. The music is very relaxing. Also the situations are so relatable, I adore this game. I wish I could two things at once though! I can't pet the cat and pretend to be paying attention or texting someone. I'm not sure if that was intended or not. Either way, that's just a nitpick. I love this game, I love the cat. Well done! It was a very enjoyable experience for me ᓚᘏᗢ

Thank you! The cat noises are actually my cats Baby and Spooky. Baby provided the meows and Spooky gave the purrs. Lulu would have been in but she's the quietest cat I've ever met lol.
Fun fact I did leave it so you can zoom call and pet at the same time, which usually leads to you bending your neck terribly. It's great so I kept it.

This game is awesome! The art is perfect. The balance between work and cat is very good, and it's challenging in a fun but doable way. I like the office tasks, especially nodding in meetings. Love the cat; I got the "you should've pet the cat" ending and found the art/animation there really delightful. Fantastic job overall.
This is really good! Very original. I love the cute art, and it's relatable/funny to me as someone who works from home and has cat who walks all over the workspace and demands attention. I also like how using the different mouse buttons lets you nod and pet the cat at the same time. (it would be cool if you could type the status update and pet the cat at the same time too, for that real 'multitasking' feeling haha)

I won!! The art is really polished and lovely. I love this unique spin on the time management genre. The controls and interface are super intuitive to just pick up and play without needing to read too much, so kudos for that. The game also feels really balanced and the music is relaxing and nice. Great job all around.
The free motion of the arm and head is awesome, didn't expect that. The challenges had a really funny rub-stomach-pat-head type of challenge to them, especially the video chat one. That was my fav.

I liked it! It was not cozy at all lol, a bit stressful but accurate.
During meeting I don't need to actually nod, just hold right mouse button is enough. Which allow me to pet the cat and work at the same time, and the result is the head being in a very strange angle.

My favourite game so far. I shook my head 360 style on Zoom, as one would do in real life too. As a cat mom with a needy boi, this is so very accurate. Fantastic.

Very cute game, love the concept, art, and audio! I tried downloading the Windows build but it's just the .exe file - you'll need to zip the entire build folder and upload that instead. The Web build is very good though, excellent work!

That was chill and cute! It took me some time to understand how to properly pet the cat. But otherwise the rules were intuitive and well explained, and provided the right amount of challenge. I loved the sound design! Congrats for this really sweet game.
The vibes are incredible.
Personally, I could not keep up with the speed of things at all. The pacing is a little too fast, but it's still nice.
Also… Ladybug here definitely approves.

I was sitting here trying to play the game to do work but my virtual cat needed attention which was preventing me from working, and then my cat in real life was also sitting on my lap demanding attention while I tried to play the game and work and give attention to my virtual cat. It's cat's all the way down. I love it.😻

Such a hilarious game hahaha, I honestly had more trouble than I thought I would managing two things at once! I had some trouble figuring out where exactly I was supposed to pet the cat, but I loved the work mini games so much! Definitely laughed out loud when I bobbed my head and it went full 360 hahaha. Great entry! I loved the artwork!
LOL the nod angles are great. I can only imagine an entire zoom call of people doing that but the boss not noticing.

My first run was disastrous, mostly because I was moving the mouse a lot petting the cat, and still getting used to what the minigames wanted me to do. Wasn't too bad though, I was able to clear it on the 2nd run. The icon dragging one was by far the most terrifying one since it took the longest.
The art is very nice and I'm really impressed with your vector art. Everything is animated well, there are lots of little details and shadows, but most importantly you conveyed emotion so well with it. I've also felt like that nuance is pretty difficult with vector but it seems like you've had a lot of practice in that arena. It's also not a common technique in LD, and when it is it's a bit more simple.
Overall, definitely a funny and novel concept. You could've stopped at just the concept and had it be juggling the cat vs work but you went the extra mile by having both systems have their own forms of minigames. Having 2 scoreboards at the bottom was pretty clever and added to the feeling of juggling 2 different things with 2 different fail states, not something I've seen before!
Nice game! It looked very well and it's quite a funny concept. The music also set a good mood. It was kin of hard though ( I did play with a touchpad). I also don't think the gameplay loop is very compelling I enjoyed it but I think this was mostly the mood and the graphics and the funny concept. I think if you would continue this I think it would be good to work a bit on making the minigames fun to do multiple times. I enjoyed it for a short run though. Good job ! I am also amazed with the amount of polish you managed to do. It looks and feels so finished.
My first two tries I failed very quickly while just trying to figure out the controls for each minigame. On my third try I managed to finish the day.
I never figured out how to tell which part of the cat it wanted me to pet, but in my successful run I always pet the head and I did so with a large mouse motion so maybe it just counted as petting the whole cat.
It's pretty stressful trying to satisfy this employer and cat!

This game is very cute :). I love the core gameplay of multitasking the little work minigames with the cat petting. A lot of the `10 second` games feel a bit overwhelming as a result of reoccurring challenges every 10 seconds - but this is one of the few games I have seen that strikes a nice balance where I never quite feel overwhelmed and annoyed, but I also feel reasonably challenged.
Fun game, great art, and overall good job!
Audio 11/10 of course. Is there an achievement for having to deal with a cat IRL at the same time as the virtual cat in the game? Meta-play!
@sergilazaro thank you! I wish I could have entered in the audio category but the music isn't mine (the one skill I haven't picked up) but I'm proud I did my own Foley for the first time! So all the sound effects were mine. Something I've wanted to do for a while
That would legit be fun to have a meta award - scan your actual cats face while they're next to you to start hard mode. The technology needs to get here sooner

Brilliant concept and execution on it! The art is very nice, has a homey atmosphere, the juggling two different tasks aspect is done quite well, just well done really :)
One small thing I can think of to consider is the cat petting. It took me a while, and judging by the comments others also had a similar issue, to realise I just needed to leave the mouse standing still on the cat in the right spot instead of moving it about to similuate a petting motion. Maybe just adding in somewhere in the tutorial that the mouse has to be still would be good enough. I had a similar issue with the nodding minigame where I thought I had to move the mouse to nod but I only actually needed to hold down the left mouse button.
@krasimir-balchev So the mouse being still is more of an exploit than the mission, mainly due to their being 3 hitboxes on the cat on the head/belly/butt that if you're moving around too much you're hands hitbox goes too far into the incorrect hitbox than the correct one. Not an uncommon issue for jams but certainly something that could be polished (Or remove specific petting requests all together). But your point is helpful for sure!

I really really love the art and sfx. The cat noises and the alerts for messages are on point. The tasks legitimately remind me of work haha My favorite is probably the zoom meeting or the keep typing minigame. It really made me feel like I had a cat next to me while at work which is really impressive. :)

Really funny game! It was a tad too difficult imo, although that might be because I was trying to play without a mouse. Cute cat though. The heart logo on the computer was also a nice touch.
Haha what a fun game! It was a bit too hard for me (because I'm on a trackpad not a mouse), but it looked really cool and it was really funny to move the hand and nod. So I still loved it :relaxed:
