Great and well polished game! I loved all those small animation!

Great and well polished game! I loved all those small animation!
Dang, add more stuff and some gfx and this could turn into fantastic full fledged game!
Great idea! I love the simplistic gfx and smooth animations.
This is damn fun and challenging. I love it!
Yup, not sure what the win/lose condition is, but it looks interesting xD.
Fantastic, just fantastic :)
Loved the game. The intro gave me some nostalgia goosebumps!
Ok, I udated my score. I was finally able to play it (playing it in a windowed mode is no go :P). It's pretty damn fun game. I loved to blow up the tanks to clear up the floor a bit (the fx of the foam is pretty cool). I also got random turret from a box which was a super nice surprise :D
Really fun game with some visual inconsistency. I wouldn't mind playing a more polished version :)
@trystan-sarrade Thanks! Person responsible for the lever was informed and punished! :D
@yscik Thanks! I think it's just a bad luck xD
@wowa Thank You and please be patient while we implement loot box system xD
j/k ... I poked one of our programmes about that. Maybe he'll be able to do something about it :P.
@chkkll Cheers. Yeah I think there should be a throw button. Maybe we'll add it if we continue working on this game :).
@hugo-kieffer, @wetbox, @jmswrnr, @panurge, @smurf, @robo-chiz, @chronicbite, @benjamin-l, @jay-elbourne, @rainysolar, @karseth
Big Thanks from our team to You guys and everyone else for the kind world! We're really glad that You enjoyed playing our game :)
@laura-angel Thank You! Yes the wonky physics at the counter can be quite annoying. We'll fix it if we continue working on this game :). We could probably add some ways to upgrade the shop as well :).
@yamiog Hey, we're glad that You liked it and we're sad that it was laggy :(. Did You try the standalone version?
@bracula Thanks! Those are all valid points/suggestions. You can kinda save some time in early waves by delaying the last order of the day, then spawn some object and organize them - that doesn't feel like a poper way of doing it tho.
@panurge Yes, sadly there are issues with balancing :(. There is a way to reach the final wave (day 5), but it requires a bit of planning and a big does of luck >. <
Love the idea, love the art and sound the only thing that bugged me was taking controls from the player after using any ability.
Fun little game. It would be nice if the coins were a bit bigger and it's kinda hard to carry more than 1 item at a time
I'm not sure what the gameplay is about except placing stuff on the map and killing our planet but the art and the overall mood of this game is a piece of art! :D
I love the art style^^. gameplay is quite interesting! :)
Loovely art style and the idea with the robot. This could be a fantastic game if You keep working on it!
I've never seen match-3 gameplay like that before. Really great game! Everything feels smooth and well made. The only thing i could complain about, was the beam. I've spent too much time trying to see what color it was. Beside that, great job!
Loved it. One of my fav games on LD42. There are things that could've been different/improved, but well there were only 2-3 days to do it so what you did is still impressive :).
AAAaaa those large creeeeepy monsters! I loved it! My only problem was that kept mixing jump with attack. Fantastic work! :)
Really interesting idea. I like it :)
This is such a beautiful and polished game!
Great sharp gameplay and and awesome gfx!
This was one unique, fantastic and beautiful game. 5/5!
Fantastic game. Reminds me of MineCraft mod and Factorio. Love the visuals! GJ!
Space works on the lever, but does nothing on the holes. Am I missing something?(playing the HTML version) Audio and gfx are lovely!
Silly little game. I like it :) (especially the destruction :P)
Nice game tho the transparent UI with the stars in the background was quite hard to read.
Backgrounds are beautiful! Great looking game in general!
First of all, I love the idea. I would def buy/play game like this but with more mechanics and improved gfx. 2nd of all, I'm amazed that You were able to put so many physical objects around without the game crashing/bugging constantly!
Now, the things I had problems with are:
-AI naviagation. They were getting stuck often and I had to manually move them around -Quite unclear UI -Junk debris that hits the camera -Performance got quite bad after a while
Overall I think this game has a great potential for becoming something bigger. I hope You guys keep working on it!
That was really fun game the voices were cute as hell. GJ! :)
I didn't get far, but I really like the idea! Character controls are a bit floaty and the lighting could use some work. Other than that, it's a fun game with great potential! GJ! :)
I'm a social media failure ;o
Cute gfx and it was fun to play :). I had a bit of a problem with aiming but good job nonetheless! :)
I really liked playing it. We really had the similar idea. You have a bit of a tetris element to it. Great job! :)
Great art style! I love the screen warp as well as background parallaxing - gives the space nice sense of scale. I only wish there was a way to push the wall back somehow (unless I'm missing something). I also keep thinking that those round bombs are pickables :D. The shooting is very sold and gives a lot of satisfaction. Fantastic work!
Lovely visuals! I can't feel my arm from all the swiping :D
Really nice game. I love the monster design. I wish there was some indicator when some mob spawns or the lasers going to shoot. I died few times because enemy spawned on me while i was running around.
Loooove the art style! The animations are super cute :). I just wish the enemy didn't shoot (actual bullet speed) that fast xD.
I'm getting fatal error when launching the game :|
love the idea! :)
Lol those sounds effects. Game feels like snake on drugs. Nice game :D
Really nice game with a great idea! Everything feels solid and I enjoyed playing it! :) GJ!
Loved it. I wish it was more about finding the right space rather then matching colors and getting them out in time. Having different types of vehicles from bikes to large truck with trailers would be fantastic. Anyway the game was great and I hope you'll keep working on it!
I've seen some girl playing this game. She was traumatized. I would watch again :D
@agwblack
Thank You for your comment. I was resposible for the visual part of the game (minus faces and placeholders) and I agree with what you wrote. I was trying to create a "happy tree friends" atmosphere where cute little creatures can die in a gruesome way. Sadly, I didn't manage to achieve that :S.
Fantastic work guys! I love the art style, the colors, animations and general atmosphere and humor! :)
Haha that's one crazy game. Good Job! :)
@drumgadget-433
Thank You :)
There's plenty of stuff to add or improve. We'll probably do one or two post-jam updates to see how it goes :). I agree with You that it's a bit too chaotic right now and that some spells should appear much earlier. We'll work on it!
@mika-la-grand
Thank You :)
Yes, You're right. We should explain it better :|. Your explenation is spot on though! Friendly fire is on. We'll work on adding better feedback. Right now they just disappear after reciving dmg. We had some cartoony gibs/gore models prepared for them but we forgot to add it :(.
As many ppl here, I can't judge the gameplay since I have no gamepad nor other player to play with :| Art-wise, this looks freaking fantastic. Animations are super cute and the sounds/music fits perfectly.
Fantastic game! Love the art and level design (tho as ppl mentioned, there were too many tutorial levels:P)
Whith some improvements it could be a nice little game :). Right now the air-controls are rather weird and the feedback on how heavy the bag is could be represented by the size of the bag. At the moment it feels like there're only two weight states and nothing between them. Anyway, I enjoyed playing your game :)
Great idea for the game! It would work great with some Mad Maxy thunder dome theme. I wish I could get some rewards after winning a fight (extra points, new pacts to sign?). Right now I can't do much to prepare for a next fight except not spending all points in the first go. I hope to see some post-jam updates! :)
Great art and atmosphere! Really nice entry overall :)
@elysiagriffin Thank You again for playing our game! I wish it didn't bug out in the very first minute :D. And yes, we're gonna add some button feedback to the game xD.
We've released a post-jam update with some extra polish (no button feedback tho ;( ). We would be happy if You checked it out in Your spare time :). Thanks again for playing and beeging such a great support for the entire LD community!
Great and atmospheric game! Wouldn't mind seeing more of it!
P.S. those buildings in the background gives me chills!
5 stars for bringing back good old memories from WoW
Same thing as @xiaphas said. Can't feel my fingers, but at least dinos enjyoed life a little bit longer :P.
Think I can type faster now. Thank You :D
Ok, think i've spent 20min playing this game and I've learned that I'm very terrible at decision making :D. Super fun game :)
That was simple yet very enjoyable and cute. Good job! :)
That's a super cute game. I love those slimey marks you leave everywhere :P
Really interesting idea. It has some creepy atmosphere. I can see myself there sitting with my big belly out and dirty shirt.:D
5 stars across the board! Fantastic work!
Oh man, this was fun. The art style and sounds were just spot on!
I'm not sure how this relate to jam theme (beside deepfrying fries ;P), but the art was super cute and cheerful :)
Really stunning visual tho i hope you'll add some rim lights to the enemies in future updates :p. Glady the game wasn't really punishing when it comes to enemy dmg. The whole thing gives me Diablo 3 vibe with Tyrael falling through the catedral :)
some other things i would like to see being improved :
- you can ignore 90% of the mobs and go straight to the bottom of the map - many rooms had this small ledge that blocked the player and when you tried to jump over it, you hit the frame of the door (small thing, but when it happens often, can be quite annoying :p) - it would be nice if the attack range was slighly larger than its visual representation - right now i feel like it's other way around - in few places i feelt like i had to guess if i should jump or not.
Overall the sound and art created fantastic atmosphere. I would play more of it in the future. GJ guys.
Even tho the art style is super simple, the movement system is on point and the shooting feels very meaty! I've played some fantastic platformers during this LD, but this had the most satisfying controls and visual/sound feedback when shooting!
Surpisingly fun game! From the cover img, i was expecting some walking-sim adventure game, but what i ended up with, was really imaginary game with cool action and puzzles. My only two issues with the game were: 1. Audio has some weird static/overtuned sound to it (if it's something on my side, i'll change the rating) 2. When playing WebGL in a small window, the text bubble cover huge part of the screen. I died twice because of it. Overall GJ guys
@fawnblue I tried it in Edge and Chrome. I think in Chrome it was slightly better. I'll increase the rating because the song reminds me of one of the Iron Maiden songs (which was probably based on some other work) and i don't want to lower the score because of webGL (which can be tricky to setup correctly).
Ok, this is bloody amazing. I would love to see a full game of this, with some coop, water physics/corrosion. 5 stars across the board.
@ausstein Wait. Did You actually manage to finish all the difficulties, including "arghhh" in a single go? :D Lots of people got stuck on easy for a while :S. Thank You for playing and the feedback. Endless mode + score system would be a nice thing to have :). I think we didn't add the full-screen option to webgl because it's prone to cause some bugs/issue - some programmer should correct me if that wasn't the actaul reason (the download version should work fine tho) :)
Interesting idea and satisfying movement system!
That was actually interesting idea. It should probably be played in full screen, because i was constantly clicking outside of the game borders when i was running away from the mutated thingies. The fact that you have to manually remove shells and put new bullets is crazy. GJ!
Even tho there's no challenge to the game, this little loop where everything goes faster over time was quite engaging!
Really love the art style and the feel of depth with the with the nice bg sprites. Wish there was more upgrade levels. I got stuck half way down with plenty of gold and lack of the skill to manage my crew properly :P. Beside that, really good job!
really nice art and gameplay! I wish the pacing was faster tho!
I gave up on the lava part, but over all i had a great time, gj!
While I wouldn't mind playing some soviet version of die-hard nakatomi plaza type of game, starting as some poor guy stuck in one of the room wearing only a robe and some slippers, i wish there was more essence to the game. At least have 2-3 floors and some exit would make it like a proper game that have something to do with the theme of this jam. When I saw the first screen, with the guy standing on the balcony, I thought it will some game about escaping hostage situation by jumping down to other floors. Ignoring all that, I think if the fighting/shooting wasn't soo bugged, I would enjoy this game more, because we don't get that many postal-like shoothers those days.
Dune underwater! Really nice city builder :). There were some unfinished elements that i didn't know how to use, but overall very enjoyable experiance! (btw. the lazer tower didn't hit anything :( )
Dang, that cat looking ghost thingy was super cute :D
Damn, the atmosphere is thick! I though i had a good tactic for the big fella, but i ended up beeing ganked :d. One thing i would like to see, is some sense of progression. I went through 23 room before i died and i wasn't sure if i was close to the end, or the game was in an endless loop?
For a 3 days jam, this is impressive amount of work! The art, music and voice overs are great! UI is clean, has the right amount of options (having any options is already a big thing). You even had a time to change the cursour icon - something I completly forgot to do in our game, and it's something that helps you ground yourself in the game world. Two things that i wish worked differently are : - tooltip to be on the cards, not during draging them into the middle of screen - having the option to just click the card rather than dragging it. (unless you can drag it onto specific frog - which is something i didn't notice being possible?)
I really liked how you can affect the biom generation, tho i had no information what were the pros and cons of each of them (i take different monster spawn?). Frog's crawling back after being defeted was a really nice touch! :)
Now i encountered only two bugs. One of them was an app crash when starting new game. The other one wasn't exacly a bug, but Unreal Engine turned on my VR with the game (i guess it's some UE option that can be disabled?)
I would really like to see an update to the game with more cards and better tooltip! :)
Very interesting and cute looking game with catchy sounds/music! Q&P key combination was a little bit too punishing and i wish that extra challange was added in a different way :d
Yeah cute visuals but local coop games are hard to rate alone :p
Fantastic idea with swinging. It's like playing Celeste with a twist!
Damn I though I rated and commented this game alread :D. It's super cute, with very appealing and clean visuals and to contrast all that, a super stressful gameplay :p. Gj!
Really interesting concept and atmospheric visuals, sadly the fps went to a single digit numbers rather quickly. When I reached the first bar, i had ~2 fps :| - at first i didn't mind the low fps because it made the game easier. I was able to actually control my characteres in this slow-motion mode. Sadly reaching half the way (or it was night? I just notice the color and music change) the fps became unbearable. I've played the web version. Maybe the standalone version works better. I might give it a go later on.
Rminds me of that one voxel coop game which name i can't remember right now >.<. With some extra polish, it will be really fun game to play :)
Interesting idea and the main concept art is awesome. Sadly my memory is too bad to remember the correct paths in the game :d
Realy fun idea that's well executed! The art is amazing and super atmospheric. One thing that i would like to see is instant restart option (current fade out time after death is waaaaay to long). Also it would be nice to have press and hold option for digging as well as ability to bind it to some keyboard (unless that's already in the game and i just didn't find it :P)
Love the humorous accent and visuals!
Opening scene felt like playing Mafia again. Really great cinematic work! I loved the vibe of the location. The green hills felt soo peacful!
You picked the right song/ambient. Made the alien/isolated feel of the moon even more amospheric!
I don't care how well this relates to the jam theme, but hell, those cat animations demand from me to give 5 stars across the board!
Well that's what i call a real life lift simulator.
Really fun and well done game. Qite difficult if you don't get an ammo pack very early in the game tho. My best score was 3300 :|
Nice. Feel free to @me when it's updated. I would like to beat my old score :p
Really liked the game. It gave me a little bit of Hexen/Heretic/Blood vibe. The level design was great. Things i would like to complain about : 1. The font was way to bright and hard to read. I was playing at night and i had to look away while the text was on 2. I don't mind the mix of 2D and 3D, but i wish the skeletons would blend better with the environment and that there were more 2d elements on the map (some 2d grass or rock details etc) 3. Better lit levels - currently they look rather flat and dark (i don't know if it was due to performance problem or something else.
Great entry. Love the tactical/stealty gameplay and visuals/animations are fantastic!
The gunplay is nice as smooth, so is the audio. Visual are simple but clear and readable. I wish there was more stuff happening between combat. like, planets for refueling, shipwrecks to scavage, finding upgrades for your ship etc. The easiest way to deal with the enemy, was to gather them all, wait till they form a nice line behind you and send a short burst to kill them all. offsetting them slightly (or make them collide with each other) and some healt/overheat balace would imo really add some challenge to the game.
was the retraction bug fixed in webgl version?
Interesting take on overcooked/pizza tycoon :D
Thats an actually interesting take on minesweeper. I managed to get to the shaft with the 9 on the cube >.<
Really fun take on frogger! :)
That was really fun! The destructible environment, the joy of finding an opening after long, claustrophobic dig, the slightly alienish vibe at the end. Feels like a cool game to expand with new mechanics and levels! Turn it into semi-sim with a sci-fi vibe!
Simple yet quite playable game. Could add some feel of incoming/increasing danger
Never tought playing with feces could be this entertaining.
Lol, love the idea of the cat with a little bubble helmet.
Great look of the city. The curved road with buildings gives the place a nice vibe. I appreciate that it's not a full circle and it ends up with a straight street with a small imperfection. The bright colors give the place a very friendly and warm feeling, which works great with the characters and those cute centipedes. I also love the fact, that you can make the game harder by beeing a bit curious. :p
Great entry @mika314! The meat of the game starts at hard difficulty where you have to move quickly in all 3 directions. The game also unintentionally has this "drug-like" effect when you look at something for some time, and then look away and the brain still thinks you're moving down :P. Thing i would add is a little particle/sound beat after sucessful landing on a mouse (something that adds to the sound of the music), and maybe some slight coloration of the mice or beam of light showing each column... Also, poor cat :d
It would be an interesting game but the lighting and broken gameplay made it unplayable. I hope you'll release na new version which at least fix the controls because i would be interested in playing it again.
ok, this is a fantastic idea! I hope You keep working on it. I only wish the UI elements were more readable and without need of scrolling the list. I really loved the game. I will play it again later on!
SUch a simple but crazy idea. I agree. We need this in VR with a cat chasing us. Great job!
Even if its just jenga, it's still super fun game and the control/physics works perfectly. The first startup of webGL was super laggy (perf-wise), but after that, it was smooth as butter. GJ!
I really love the intro scene lol
Great visuals and mood! Realy easy to pick up and. The mood is perfect. I could see this to be part of bigger game !
This is one amazing game. Can't believe you guys manage to create those visual in such a short time. It's soo well polished. All those little animations, UI elements, sounds. Everything fits together soo well. Nothing feels like it was added in a last minute. I love the progression, how you get new tools over time. The orange ambiet works soo well. I can't believe this worked well with DoF and other effects in WebGL. Really impressive work!
I won't be able to sleep now :d
Please tell me You created that one wheeled enemy to avoid rigging and animating humanoid character :P. We made flying monster just because of that reason:D
Good job with the game. Great atmosphere and very punchy hit indicator :)
@xenobey Yep. I always tell my team that we should make a game with no character or characters so simple, they can be represented by a simple shape, and we always end up with a game where character is the focal point of it >.<
Fantastic game and idea for it. It really trains your brain to quickly recognize the shapes. The robot arm animation is really cool as well! I almost got heart attack when the entire row of new items showed up :p. I didn't know there's a lose condition so i quite before the robot managed to beat me :<. Will play it again later on!. Great job guys! :)
Amazing work! I wasn't able to play it properly because WSAD wasn't working, but the general idea and visuals are just top notch!
Lovely art. The monster gives me some creeps :)
Really amazing art. Can't believe it was made in only 3 days!
I had small issue with webGL version where it didn't detect WSAD movement - reloading the page helped tho.
Im a terrible person because i wanted to village to get flooded : >
Fantastic work! I love everything about it. The gameplay, the art, dialogues, level desing, the growing neck, the cute atmosphere...really amazing. Good job! :)
I didn't expect this to be this fun and entertaining. The humor was spot on. I chuckled when one of my guys lied down on the altar :D
fantastic art :)
Man if i could fart myself into the space :D
Love it. 12 out of 10, would pet again. I didn't expect to see such realistic cat simulator here :D
Really amazing entry especially for a compo. Love the sound and art design!
Really fun game. I wouldn't mind to see some balancing update with extra stuff to do. Even tho i was doing the same thing for 99% of the game, i still wanted to see how it will end when i reach the destination (sadly game broke at the end when i left the ship - it stopped to recognize my kb input so i didn't really see whats there). Things i would love to see in the future :
- more uses for half of the resources that become useless in the first few minutes of the game - more upgrades for the battery and range at which you can puck up stuff - some info about resurces on the plants - there were trees on a moon-like planet which felt kinda weird - point of reference when you're in the space - currently its hard to tell if you're moving or not when you're away from the ship - upgrade tips on the upgrade bench not the other terminal - less walking on the ship - put stuff closer together - maybe some danger in space like fast flying debries
Overall good job. Even tho i was doing the same task over and over again, the progression caused by the engine upgrade made me keep playing it to the end.
Great game. The sound and horror effect when the enemy spawns is great! :)
Cute and energetic game. Good job :)
This feels like a full release game. Congrats to the entire team. I had great fun playing it!
Fun game and i love the visuals. I remember loving those tennis games as a kid, this brings some memories :)
I have to say, that's some amazing idea. Good job on the entry!
@pomo Hey there! Thanks for playing and all those kind words on stream xD. Sorry for not submitting our game. Personally i was too tired after the jam to do anything >.< . Also I wasn't happy with the end result when it comes to visuals so I just stayed quiet :>. Gratz on having Your stream on LD page!
Btw. nice score. I never managed to get all the objective in one go :D
Holy hell, the game is soo slick! The art, mechanics, those little one eyed guys and overall smoothness - really amazing work!
@dusho Thank You! There's a button on the map at the right bottom corner that will teleport You home. You don't have to walk back all the nodes :).
@gametrodon Hotkeys sounds like a great idea. We get a lot of feedback about the single use items and the "go home" button. We'll try to adress that in a post LD update :). Personally I'm surprised noone complained about lack of healthbars. That was one of the main things i wanted our team to improve, but there was no time for it :d Thank You for playing our game! :)
Lovely artstyle, interesting gameplay and addicting upgrade mechanics. My only issue beside balancing (on a 4th node, the screen was filled with enemies) was the unskipable intro dialogue which stopped me from trying to play it for the 4th time :/
I don't know what to say beside WOW :'D. I think this is the most unique LD53 game
Love the silliness of the game. The art style is great so is the vibe and the music. The only thing i wasn't sure how it works is the alcohol thing :/
I have to say, i love the clean aesthetics! I have jet to fully understand the gameplay, but i'll give it a few more tries :)
We need a full blown game with this art style!
I think that's the first game where the "innovation" bar has some use. Gj on the game!
Yeah Carmageddon and Quarantine (Road Warrior) was the first thing that came to my mind after seeing the screenshot. I wouldn't mind some weird driving game with this art style :d.
Very nice game, forces you to think. Really great entry. Good job :)
The art style and the setting rocks. I would love to see this game being developed into something bigger.
I thought that was pizza until very end :D.
It starts slow but becomes an adrealine rush very quickly! The art style is very cute and silly. It's a really fun game - i had blast playing it. Gj! :)
Im bad at the game, but it's soo fun and cute. GJ!
5 out of 5. Fantastic idea and unique controls. Great job guys
Fantastic looking game with great atmosphere. Wish there was a little bit more gameplay mechanics :)
Can i get a easy mode please? :D That was a very silly entry. I'm glad there are some games that don't focus on moving stuff from one point to another. Great job!
Hard but really cool idea. Everything works well together. I was super close to finishing the last mission but the radar catched me in the last sec :D
Very nice gfx and music :)
Really nice looking game but i had no idea what to do with the souls :(
Really cool idea. I love the music, it reminds me of good old Transport Tycoon. Cars need some tweaking when it comes to handling (they feel too light imo), but they're still fun to drive around. I love the fact that you can flip them xD. If the ingridients were physical objects that you have to carefully transport to the oven, that would make the game great! Visuals are also very nice and give the game that cool retro feel.
Good job!
@Annie Owl Thanks for the feedback! This is something we realized when we submitted our project and it was too late to change it :S. It would definitely help a ton lot. Even simple zoom-out would be an improvement :|. Btw. did you work on Kingdom:New Lands by any chance? Your Jam game gives me the simillar vibe :).
Really great idea!
Looks very nice and it has very nice gameplay. I just wish it was a bit less punishing. Game over for missing a single thing in physic base game is too much xD. With a bit of extra work I could see this as a steam game! :)
Fantastic work!
Interesting idea and it looks very nice. It could use more visual feedback to let me know when my turn start and if i either hit something or not. Some shooting trajectory (or shooting power) like in worms would be nice too!
Great fun and looks lovely. I love that small cutscene after failing
Fantastic game! :)
This is a fantastic games! Amazing idea, great gfx and super fun to play!
Really fantastic entry. Love the old boot sequence :id:
Lovely art and sounds and it's fun after you figure out what to do :D
