Very cool. Gets hectic. I was able to hold out for a long time when my lawn got mostly destroyed, the intensity dies down a lot by the time you've almost lost. Very fun up until then though!

This game was hilarious. The damn delinquents leaving cigarettes on my lawn and hippies meditating! Everything in the game was well executed.
This game was amazing!! I loved it! I really enjoyed the variety of characters that came to camp on my lawn, and all their animations. It was hilarious!
Thanks guys!
@tattomoosa: Yeah, I've noticed it too. You can stand on the last square shouting over and over and last quite a while. I've considered a few ways to solve it. Maybe repeated screaming should tire you out and you'd have like a cooldown meter. Or have an enemy that more forcefully removes you, or perhaps just making the mob more aggresive when there is less of the lawn left.
That was fun. I liked spending time with your angry bean. :)
Never felt more connected to the angry old men chasing off people from their lawn. They just ruin everything!
Making the mob get more aggressive when you don't have much lawn left seems like it might work pretty well and it would feel even more like you're getting swarmed. I dunno about repeated screaming tiring you out, that would make things pretty difficult earlier on. Maybe if you have a lot of screams before you have to cool down. You could do a funny heavy breathing animation though, and that would be awesome.
Great game. I scored you highly in most aspects. The whole thing works pretty well together. I didn't really use the mouse aim, I just kept my guy facing in one direction. Love the graphics. A very fun distraction.
Good stuff :8ball:
Your approach to deal with the theme is very nice. I like the mood and humor in your game, especially that each enemy has its own characteristic behavior (i laughed out loud at the Yoga Woman  ). I survived 51 waves btw....
I think there is a problem when the space to guard the lawn from enemies gets really small (just 2-3 fields). You do not have to get away, just scream them of your lawn. So in theory you might not get to the Game Over Screen.
Really cool game! Well done (event if the end is a bit easier than the middle game by staying on a tile and just screaming). Anyway I really apreciate this game!
Really fun game, good job!
Fun game, I had a blast playing. I kind've wish the main character was just a touch bit faster. Other than that, I loved the graphics, animations, and audio. Good game!
Awesome work, fun game, easily the best compo entry I played so far. The game feels jam-complete and well crafted from art to difficulty curve. I feel a strong, emotional connection to the player character. I mean, why the heck are there vans parking on my lawn!?
One thing that put me off slightly, is that cycling actions one way only felt a bit awkward. Could've used positive/negative buttons or shooter style quick swap, but that's really all I can criticize.
Great job! I love the art and the audio, and it's fun! It doesn't fit the theme that well though, mostly because it's way too easy to defend just a couple of squares with your scream and do nothing else. However, I liked the humorous idea and mood! Overall, great job!
Cheers! - The Koala Squad
This is a really well-rounded submission, nice work.
This had bean fun! Great job, it was funny, looked good and played well!
Aaaah, people, if you already ruinned half of my lawn, why won't you go smoke and camp there?? Nope, you must keep going ruining my flower. Sheesh!
Really really fun game, though now I hate half of the bean-world. Great job :)!
Great game! Very cool and interesting! :D
Really fun concept! The graphics are cute, the sound in the right mood, I love the humor of the setting XD
This is charming and fun, really enjoyed playing it. My lawn made it for 30 waves :)
Fun game and interesting idea ;)
Oh man was that chaotic, freaken people won't get stay off my damn lawn!
Love the idea, love the art and sound the only thing that bugged me was taking controls from the player after using any ability.
My lawn, my beautiful lawn :sob:
You've come up with a hilarious take on the theme with great music and solid graphics. I really liked the visual design of the different beans (starting by the grumpy player character, loved it!)
I managed to survive for 62 waves, although the second half was mostly a fight against time to keep a couple of patches. Those damn towel guys were the worst!
A great entry, congrats!
PS: I had a similar idea for LD32, but with a fed up teacher in high school.
Nice gameplay! Had fun and giggles for a few levels. More annoying than fun in the long run, but overall very well put together given the time.
Survived 43 waves! Enjoyed it!
Guessing there is no way to win the final wave, just survive for as long as possible? Wondering how viable a strategy it is to just give up on most of the lawn and defend a small patch for as long as possible, which is what ended up happening for me.
Reminds me a bit of your game from last time! The characters you came up with and the sprites you made for them were hilarious and the music and sounds are really good too. Spent some time just listening before actually starting the game.
Nicely done!
GET OFF MY LAWN! I liked the polish and design of the game, the jazz music is also well made and fits the atmosphere of the game perfectly, well done!
Very charming game, i really like the idea and the challenge. Gameplay wise it works well for me and it was fun being that angry bean. The enemies also had a nice variety. Graphics and music are really good too!
