Fantastic art and theming! You really created a great mood that kept me interested.
i'm so impressed, what a beatifull game, in every aspect
I love the music and art from the very beginning, including the start UI. Animation is fantastic and the details are fantastic -- train-jostling motion! Little footstep sounds! The art is super stylized and great, and so are the animations.
And then I got to the story part. It's wonderful. The characters are great, and the conductor is a delightful, menacing presence the whole time. I won't spoil anything, but I enjoyed playing this so much. Really, really wonderful job! :D
So cool!
Love the art and very philosophical on existentialism.
Truly amazing! So polished, such good art and music, I loved every aspect of it! You guys should really be proud of what you accomplished in such a short time!
one of the most atmosferic games that i have seen in this ludum dare, reminds me the rust lake series
Wow wow wow I loved this very much! The art, the story, the puzzles! I can't praise this game enough! Good job!
WOW. Easily the best game I played so far. Everything was incredible! The visuals, the little games, the writing... Absolutely loved my experience from beginning to the end. So well done!!
God, I love this one so much. Awesome graphics (really awesome, love the animations and characters), very fun and easy minigames, a good mechanic.
Unfortunately (like you announced) some bugs on chrome and on firefox blocked/visited doors appear with an oversized black rectangle.
5 Points on each though, I'm really impressed
Overall the game felt very professional with nice visuals and well-made audio. But I didn't quite get the story, it seemed everyone knew the main character, but I didn't know anything about them myself. But yeah, nice experience! Good job!
Wow this was an incredible experience! I was not expecting that ending WOW. The art and music were fantastic, overall an insanely impressive work! Fantastic job!!
@joscco thank you for the feedback, you were the first person to mention this. i tried to fix it but i have no way to test it because it hasn't happened to us, but hopefully it works as intended now!
Wooow! This game was so good! Deffinetly an experience I'm gonna think about for a while. Music, art and those mini-games were really nice. Liked the story overall, too. Came across few bugs (like no "play" button at the start or not having the ability to move old lady's stuff). I also didn't get how to interact with a broken door? And kinda wish there was some kind of skip button, but really! It's such a nice game! Thank you so much for creating it!
This game definitely deserves to win in at least one category. Captura.PNG Also please don't make me make this type of choices :P
This game is GORGEOUS, just top notch, all the detail in the animations and polish is astounding. Great work to all involved!
great! art, sound, mood... amazing, really did a great job!
What a nice little journey that was! With an... unexpected destination. I think. Did we even ever get there?
love the art O.O !!!
the music is so lovely and the art so unique
I love the room transitions, the train theme reminds of me of Pinstripe

wow, that's a beautiful game. everything worked together perfectly
full of feelings <3
A lot of childhood games came to mind while playing *The Railroad to Elsewhere*. I thought about Spyfox and professor Layton, just because of the mood you managed to create. I really enjoyed this little adventure: nice writing, a pleasant music, and the art really spoke to me! Great work folks :)
Love the art style and animations! Although it wasn't very long, It almost felt more like a full game than a jam entry :o
I love the little minigames and the sound design was nice and unobtrusive. I feel like there is more to the story than I can figure out with my sleep deprived brain. Could I get a hint?
Great job overall!
Great game! 💌
The game looks very good, the music is great, and the mini games are all satisfying! Very strong entry! I was a bit confused on the controls sometimes but only for brief moments. The ending was very powerful, great job!
Thanks for the game I had a good time.
Tells a very deep story about someone's personality at the end of the life. Many different meaning can be extracted from this game depending on your POV. One thing that stood out is the slight depressing tone throughout as you walk past the cabins. It's a great experience for sure.
This was an incredible display of art and animation. The narrative was a little muddy but the mood and audio and everything was peerless. https://www.twitch.tv/scalphamission for my full review
WOW this caught me off guard!! Everything is beautiful about this game: the music, the characters, the dialogs, the drawings! and it leaves a big impression while the game is only a few minutes long :o
Very authentic game with a really good atmosphere! Truly loved the art and the sound design. It was a good move to use mini games in it. Good job overall!
A very polished entry, art style is very nostalgic and the atmosphere is great, thanks for sharing this on stream.
The polish on this game is immaculate! Very impressive and interesting!
This game is very story heavy and has a nice artstyle! I liked playing it, it had a few mini-games in it! very cool
Beautiful game! While I'm not sure I caught every little clue the game gave me about the world the game set it, the overall experience is really pleasant and thought provoking. I'm hoping to see more from you!
Thanks for coming to my stream! Here's a link in case you'd like to see the recording: https://youtu.be/6O1eFU0xLWM Your game starts at 1:52:33
I love the art style and the atmosphere. I _know_ I didnt pick up on everything but all the small attentions to detail i did see were incredible! I also really enjoyed the iterations of the music for each differnt cabin.
Really great job, I feel like it made an impact on me, even in my short time playing.
As already pointed out: amazing visuals and music. I love the mood of this game!
But the game really catched me when I decline to help someone just to see what happens. Suddenly the was a new layer in the game! After that I also played it once helping nobody and then helping everybody in my last round. I'm glad I chose this order because the "good person" ending was the strongest for me and perfectly concluded the game for me.
Have to say that I ran into a few Bugs, especially when I replayed it without refreshing the window first. Once the game got stucked when I said no in the first cabin and the other time I couldn't enter another cabin after the second or so. But these things weren't too much of an issue, it is still a fantastic entry!
I really enjoyed this. The art style, animations and the timings feel impeccable. The writing is neat and I played through it a couple of times to exhaust all the dialogues.
The music was very good.
One thing I did not understand is the last two doors. Would love to know more about them.
Delightful submission!
This one of my favorites games played on Ludum Dare, thank you so much for this amazing experience and I hope you guys did some more and even a complete version of the game.
Really beautiful game, I thoroughly enjoyed it. I found the game on itch.io but there is no link to the ludum dare page there. Might be good to add it because I had to google the ludum dare page to rate this game
Did some normal human stuff, then jumped off a train. Not a bad way to go. Overall, great looking game. Good art, music, mood, the works.
Beautiful game, good job!
This game is so cool! The animation is impressive for the timeframe, the story is super fun, and the minigames are well implemented. Really well done. Color me impressed!
*Chefskiss* Absolutely splendid game ! Seriously I love me good narrative games and this hit just the right spot. Great aesthetics, great atmosphere, really nice aand funny interactions. Absolutely love it! Really great job !
Also... did you leave this note on my desk ? Train.png
I recorded my playthrough, you’ll be able to find it on my youtube channel once I’ll be done playing games : https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCcGSR_DYUY_BQIsujY2QXpg It was my favorite game so far ! It was charming and had great storytelling ! It reminded me of a game I made for the IndieTale Jam : https://bottled-up-studio.itch.io/last-ticket-for-eternity
Splendid game! The animations and art were spot on! One of the best "story-driven" game I've played on any game jam! Thanks for the submission, was glad I could play it!
I really love this game! I would like a full-fledged game in the same style and with an extended story
Wow! Im just wowed by what you did in 72 hours. Really amazing stuff!
The art is incredible and I really enjoyed the mini-games too. I didn't quite understand the story at the end but it was atmospheric nonetheless!
I enjoyed this a lot! The art is great and the ambient music sells it very well. All the characters have a different feel and I would have certainly played a lot more of it if there was any. Congrats on making this with Godot and thanks for sharing it (and for playing our own train game, haha) ;)
What an amazing little experience, I enjoyed it from the first second and all the way, even if it was a bit predictable... a wonderful entry, I think it is the first '5' I give on Overall!
Another amazing game by one of my fave Ludum Dare team :D I was charmed by the story of the Opposum and I'm charmed by this one as well. 5/5, amazing entry for a team of just two people!
Thanks for submitting your game for me to play on my stream!

Great game! I was trying to nitpick anything, but all I could find is that webGL audio likes to crack frequently (it might be too big for webGL to handle). I guess the only thing I can suggest is to make more of it, as it was quite short (as jam games are). Great work
Wow! This was quite the ride. I like everything about this.
This is a fantastic little game! Wonderful music and art style, very charming and I loved the underlying metaphor. A well executed and well rounded out game. Great job!
The dialogue is amazingly well written and it fits really well with the aesthetic. All the characters are intriguing, including of course the main character. I've always liked trains myself, and I think this game really captures what is so magical about them. Great game.
Wow! So good!! Looks gorgeous, is well written, and I'm just amazed by the amount of content and different mechanics with the little things you have to do for everyone. Surprised you opted out of the humour category, if nothing else for the fish person 👀 I'm a sucker for the period train setting too. Big favourite from this jam 💜
Really amazing art. Can't believe it was made in only 3 days!
I had small issue with webGL version where it didn't detect WSAD movement - reloading the page helped tho.
The art style was absolutely inspiring. It reminded me somewhat of the Adventures of Tintin.
Nice choice of setting. I like the overall mood and the art style. All in all, very well done.
This was absolutely DELIGHTFUL and an incredibly impressive amount of polish for a gamejam. Congrats on a great entry!
A very well deserved second place in the graphics category (although I would have given you the first). Once again: Awesome game, I bow to your artistic skills!
