Very cute game! My game crashed at some point. I like the idea of constant metamorphosis, but you can "cheat" and only wait for the moth form to get to the end. But really cool game and pretty graphics!!

Super solid entry! The art is simple and soooo cute! The lil robot is just adorable <3 I love the idea of moving in rythm and learning patterns: it's simple to understand, it's fun and it makes you want to retry when you messed up! The progressive difficulty and complexity of the rythm is very well done too. Balancing is almost perfect from what I've seen (didn't do all the levels). I also love the fact that you can see how many levels there are in total, gives you incentive to go further! Very well done, it's a simple yet very polished and fun game!
A lot of good ideas here! I like the sliding option, and the controls that are added progressively. I wish the controls were simpler (just up to jump, not using the mouse and keyboard...) for more accessibility. The art style is great and the music fits well. It has a lot of potential. Good job!

Your take on rythm games is super interesting! I played a couple rythm / dance games but I never did one where notes were looping at different speeds. It adds some interesting challenge to the classic formula, I really liked that! Adding different difficulties is obviously super important in this kind of game and you nailed it. Very nice entry! Very cute (and sad) game with perfect art style and audio. I didn't understand right away that you could interact with items, would have been nice to have some hints. Also I just died after walking for a hile, and I'm not sure this is the ending or I just missed something? Apart from that, the atmosphere in this game is very unique and I absolutely loved it. Took me a while to understand how it worked. Not a big fan of the left click / right click thing, I think using left click only would be simpler. I would have liked more feedback when I "save" someone or when someone dies (sound or visual feedback) But overall nice game, I did several attempts and it got me hooked! It's a cool idea and the art style is amazingly cute! nice job :)
Okkkk this game is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I thought it was kind of heartbreaking at first, seeing this old man getting ignored and people being so ungrateful to him... And then it took a turn I wasn't expecting at all! From beginning to end I was so hooked, congrats on this awesome game!!

Very fun (and stressful) game haha. Difficulty build up a tad too fast in the second round but it keeps you going! Love that the snake goes in rhythm with the guitar riffs too. Nicely done!
What an incredible game. I think I played it at least 20minutes, which is the longest I spent on any game jam! It's really really good: the pixel art looks delightful, the colors look amazing, the simple animations work very well, and the game loop is super well balanced! Amazing job here!

Man, this game isn't going to help me with my thalassophobia lol. The dark atmosphere is very well done, it's creepy but fascinating, loved it! The art is incredibly neat, especially for a compo! Love the low poly art style coupled with nice noise effects to set the mood. It took me a couple of tries before understanding that you have to avoid getting in front of sharks since they're in the background, I thought they randomly attacked you and you had to avoid them using your boost. Overall, everything is really well executed, graphics look amazing, the gameplay is challenging but fun, and it's an excellent take on the theme, congrats!

Really loved this game! Charming visuals and storytelling... The shark made me laugh so hard lol. Very very aggressive, I battled with it for a solid 5 minutes before being able to go down. Only on comment on the controls: inertia is incredibly slow so it's really tough to move around. Maybe make it a bit lighter? Apart from this, great experience. Congrats!
Beautiful & atmospheric game. The artwork looks really good! The music is amazing too. Felt a tad slow at the beginning but it becomes more and more captivating as the boat progresses. Great job!
@josephdevelops what a heartwarming comment ❤️ This is actually my first time trying pixel art (or some sort of pixel art), I don't know anything about it except it's a precise and complicated art I have yet to learn and master! Very happy that someone who does pixel art for a living enjoys the visuals of the game! Makes me want to try it more and actually learn the proper way to do it. Also props to @thekingbarry who worked on the graphics with me 🙂
Very intriguing game, it's like Mario Kart SNES meets my Headspace meditation app haha. I like you original take on the theme, the unique controls (having to use both W / Space in rhythm to keep accelerating), and the mix of pixel art and 3D! Good job!

Coup de coeur pour ce jeu! Concept original et super bien exécuté. Le jeu gagne en intérêt au fur et à mesure des runs et t'accroche davantage plutôt que de te lasser. L'expérience est très bien équilibrée, plaisante, et très jolie! Voir les racines s'étendre est très agréable à regarder. Merci pour ce jeu, une très belle réussite ! :)
Very cool idea, liked the mood a lot. Would have wished it felt less random and to have some sort of strategy to optimize your health, hunger and stamina (like collecting food and having the freedom to eat it once per turn, choosing when to set a camp, etc). But I did retry the game many times, which shows how fun the gameplay loop is! Nice job!

Est-ce que nous sommes soulmates? :D Comme l'a dit Doot, votre jeu ressemble énormément au nôtre, mais le plus drôle est qu'il ressemble ENCORE PLUS aux idées/envies de départ que nous avions chacun lancées mais qui n'ont pas abouties: - La liberté de mouvement et l'inertie côté Doot (qui codait le jeu) - De mon côté (côté visuels), l'idée de cité enfouie, les méduses géantes, le fond qui devient très rouge en profondeur, la présence de dialogue interne un peu plus marquée, les effets lumineux...
Ce sont toutes des idées dont nous avions parlé pendant la jam, et les voir si bien réalisées dans votre jeu fait chaud au coeur! :) En tout cas, l'exécution du jeu est impeccable, le pixel art très beau, la narration très prenante, les mouvements naturels et agréables... A deux, un tel résultat est incroyable! Un grand bravo à vous pour ce superbe jeu!
Amazing game! The puzzles are clever and difficulty builds up very slowly, so you have time to figure out how to interact with each level before getting lost. The graphics look stunning and the mood is perfect. Great job :)

Very nice art style and promise, I liked the originality of the game. I think I didn't play it right because I couldn't combine anything ? I wish I had clearer instructions so I could play correctly. But otherwise cool game!!

Very nice game! I like the fast paced feel, like warriorware sort of. The mini games are clever and fun. I wish you didn't have to restart from the beginning every time, it gets a little frustrating. But the overall idea and executiong is great! Kudos to the team :)
I kinda sucked at this game since I was playing with my laptop pad (and I prefer arrows instead of ZQSD as I'm left handed), so I didn't go very far. But I enjoyed my short experience, the mood and graphics are incredible! Good job on this one!

Super fun game!!! I loved everything about it, from the simple concept, your take on the theme, to the amazing graphics and the sense of humor. Having the "breaking news" text as a way to display information and jokes that make the whole mood of the game is a very clever idea. I also liked how clear the indications were as to when the meteor would hit the Earth. I would have loved increasing difficulty over time. Because once you "get" the rythm of the meteors, it's easy to just continue hitting forever until you're bored. But this is a very minor setback. Congrats for this very strong entry :)

WOW! The strongest entry I've played so far. The music, the mood, the graphics... Everything was NEAT! Loved every animation, memories and songs. I thought difficulty increased a tad too steeply between the 3rd and 4th song. But other than that, I loved every single piece of this game! Congrats!
Lovely entry! Absolutely dig the graphics and the humor. I laughed at Barry's selfie. After a while it becomes impossible to click on some notifications, and I wasn't sure these were bugs or were on purpose, to show that the phone is dying lol. That part was a little frustrating but I guess this is the point of this game haha! Overall great entry, good job!

It was a fun little game, it seemed impossibly difficult when I first saw the number of projectiles but it was surprisingly well balanced, as you often switched between the nerd and the jock. One tiny improvement would be to have clearer indication when you switch from the nerd to the jock - sometimes I wasn't paying attention so I didn't see if I was playing as one or another.
Other than that it was a fun experience, bravo to the team!
Very neat concept and execution! I played until the end and really enjoyed my time. One this that could be added is that in the hacking phase, the arrow controls are not available anymore, so the keys I used were a bit confusing to me. Other than that, very cool game!
