I like the graphics in this game. Very solid pixel art, but I'm not the biggest fan of the character movement. I also don't understand what "bring staffs to the left shrine" means. Where is this staff? I've visited both shrines and couldn't find it.

Really cool game!! The graphics are really really nice! I am not the best player, but had fun playing it!
@snowycocoon, we are very happy that you liked our game) The staff is at the starting platform to the left of the very left statue next to the edge. It appears after you bring the vase to the right shrine.
Player movement was fine but it was a bit like low gravity. The graphics were really good but I feel that if the pixels size had been kept the same across the game they would be better. Overall it was a good game that could be improved easily.
@sarah-lir You're right, I'm just blind. The staff is really there.
I like the concept. Unfortunately it was close to unplayable for me, not to be harsh.
First of all I could not pick up the vase. Nothing happened when I pressed F. I did pick it up once, but I don't know how and I was not able to replicate it. Second, the jumps that had to be performed were so long that it was not possible to see where you were going to land so you couldn't time it.
On the upside I liked the aesthetics and it was somewhat clear what I had to do - I just wasn't able to do it.
Nice game! A bit hard for me since I suck at platformers haha. But cool job!

the graphics work well together and the overall idea fits well with the theme. If I had to change something it would probably be the amount of gravity

Very nice art! Character control feels a bit clumsy, and the jump is waaay to high - you can't see the platform you're going to land on because it doesn't fit in the screen, which makes precision jumping a bit frustrating. Picking up objects is a bit weird as well: it only works if you stand near the object but not exactly behind the object. I've never had the progress bar reach its maximum: I always just died in lava.

Cool! I would have tweaked the physics of the player a little bit , but good job
Great feel overall, controls are smooth and the game runs without issues. It's kind of annoying to jump without seeing the platforms though.
Congrats for the project! Really like the context of the game and how elements you guys bring to gave the idea of ancient Greece. But in terms of gameplay, i had some issues with the jumping movement. The character has a jump with low gravity that makes difficult to see the platforms below him, specially the one that has movement, and this make the game very difficult. I think that more precision jumps could make the game experience much better.
Keep going!
For those having problems to pick up items, pick them up from the side, like from the handle for example.
Extra mode with no sound and no music its a shame. I like the pixel art of the character, is so cute. Like the other i found the jump very floating, and search the staff too ^^. But that was relaxing. PS : I'm sure you can do better for the background image. npnp2.jpg A secret ? secret.png
Cool art and concept for the theme! Unfortunately I had a hard time with it. When I put down the vase, for example, it just fell through the concrete and stuck to the ceiling.
Cool graphics, nice platform level design! good job.

Very nice looking - great art. I found the jumping very hard to control, and that made it less fun for me.

Nice job!
The pixel art is solid, with a coherent color palette, detailed sprites and clear platforms. The movement feels fine, with a lot of air time and control. I felt a bit frustrated at some moments where you cannot see the platform you are aiming for while jumping because it's a bit too far down (even the first jump is like that). Maybe lowering the camera a bit could help?
Thanks for the game!
Nice art and mood, guys!
The concept and art are really good. Especially the art, which gets an A+. Unfortunately the mechanics and jumping physics are pretty bad, so it isn't really all that fun to play. Jumping seems too "floaty," and the platforms you're jumping to are often off screen, making it something of a "blind jump." Hitboxes on being able to pick up the relics seem to small too - you have to be in _juuust_ the right spot for it to register. Music/sound would add a lot too.
But as I said, A+ on the art assets! :-)
Top marks for graphics for sure. As a mythology nerd (RIP folklore theme), this was definitely a game I had to play. But, as others have mentioned, I struggled with the controls, especially when it came to jumping. I never made much progress because I got lava'd, since I couldn't see the platform I was aiming for.
