Cool game! Very easy to pick up and understand, clean graphics, good audio. Good job!
It transports me to the time when I was young playing Starfox on the SNES. (I actually played Starfox again a few years ago but that's not the point). The bounce on the walls is super tricky to avoid. I died many times because I hit the walls too hard haha.
It's a pretty interesting game, could have some sfx to be completed...The song is pretty nice and it matches or complements perfectly the game's vibe. Congrats!
Wheeee, going fast :).
I really like the aesthethics of the game. Very minimalistic, but it works.
I would have loved an indication on the walls and obstacles that show where they will move or where a gap will form. As it stands now, it was more of a trial and error for me when going fast near the end of each level.
Some of the walls near the end showed a pattern of where the gaps will be (I think the last level had counter-clockwise gaps - up, left, down, right). Fitting in these gaps in time at high speed felt great.
Music is great, the gameplay is fun, the art-style is good, but it could look even better. Good job overall!
Pretty cool game, a little hard for me (damn u walls !) but the song was really nice and i liked the simple gameplay. The vibe was kind of spacey. I liked it.
Cool Game and music! I like the gameplay. Only things i didnt like are, that there are no SFX and the random balls. In my opinion its way to random.
I feel like I'm entering a trance when playing this game, and I think that's perfect! The combination of the smooth gliding, moving structures, color choice and music really brings it together well. Sometimes the speed of movement is a little hard to tell with everything going on, so I struggled at times because of this.
Nice, It's pretty fun to play :).
The game was very polished and worked very well.
I only feel lack of sound effects.
Well done! I like the aesthetics, cool music, and very fond of the cinematic transitions you put in there. I had some problems with the player collision, as I didn't quite know my size, and some times I thought for sure I would fit through, but I didn't (and also other times where I thought I wouldn't fit, but I did). Overall cool game, so congrats :)
The movement is very special to understand at the beginning. Because we have to bounce, to find the loop to move forward. It's hard to understand which part of ourself could enter in collision, because we see from a third person view. Perhaps it would be more clear if we see a character ? Anyway, after some tries, I could feel the path. I like the mood like tron effects, simple colored esthetic. And the transition when we hit a red collision box. Good job.
Cool, would be nice if there were sound effect. Reminded me of the dropper, that old Minecraft map lol. Pretty fun but some of the obstacles seemed a little random
Great game. The movement felt good and the level design was good. I absolutely love the transitions between levels. The balls spawning seemed random because sometimes they would be challenging to pass and the next time they wouldn't even spread out. Overall solid entry, good work!
I love the lighting, colours and music. I'm amazed you could make such a polished game so quickly. It also fit the theme perfectly. One of my favourites so far.
Cool game! I was ducking from side to side with my head while playing. ;)
The bounciness against the walls was quite annoying to me and apparently slowed me down (it took me a while in level 3 to get that I shouldn't touch the ceiling too much at the start) - but maybe that was on purpose to get the player to not hug the walls too much. It took me 54 deaths, but I got to the end ;) I wasn't a fan of that I basically had to gradually learn the level by heart, because there was not an indication where things would come from or go to. (Also, the stack of collapsing balls is just mean! Too unpredictable and they are reorganising themselves very late... maybe I should hug a wall for a bit before going there?).
I liked the particles flying around and the bright glow of everything.
From the description it is not clear if the music was made for this game by lucidbuffalo (if not, you should opt out for the audio category), but it fits very nice. :)
Good job!
Pleasant dodge game!
Here are my feedback:
_Positive points - Cool style graphic - Nice transition when dying/succeed - Relaxing music
_Negative points - No feedback sound when dying/succeed - Force to die and retry
Overall: gg for your work!
@dodidouda Thank you! :)
@adiwan Haha, I like that it reminds you of something you like. Yeah I did not have to properly test the wall bouncing, thanks for the feedback. :D
@prodigysp Yeah sfx would be nice for sure. Thank you!
@jatdev Thank you! That highspeed feeling is what I wanted to create. I tried the indication stuff, but it did not work, so I dropped it. But it would help the game for sure.
@cerins Thank you!
@saniae Thank you, I hoped that the spacey vibe gets through to the player. The walls are mean, I would balance them more if I had more time.
@apfel SFX would were nice for sure. I hoped that the player sees that there is space above the balls everytime, but it became more of a trial and error thing. Thank you!
@anniv4x I really love to hear that, big thank you! Yeah the speed is sometimes a little bit unpredictable. :/
@fiwon123 Thank you, really appreciate that! SFX would be nice for sure. :D
@scharma Thank you! :)
@matootsy Thank you! Yeah I thought about a third person perspective too, but it was too late to figure this out, but appreciate the thought.
@dragonzbw Haha, the dropper. :D Appreciate the feedback, thank you!
@datadazer Thank you! It was my first time creating such transitions, so I really appreciate your comment! :)
@enad96 Woooh! Thank you, such an honor. :D
@papaver Thank you. I appreciate that you played it through the end despite the unpredictable movement and obstacles. Above the balls is enough space everytime, but I guess that it is too small to see it. lucidbuffalo made the music specifically for this game. :)
@edalbung Thank you, appreciate your feedback! :)

It's your first gamejam eh? You did a really good job! Jams are how I learned game development and they're a ton of fun, I hope you join more jams!
Almost forgot to talk about the game, I really liked the dynamic encounters. How I could see some problems coming up but others required quick reactions. This made a really nice feeling of always being on my toes. I also thought the length of your game was good too. A couple levels, progression was nice, audio fit. I liked it a lot.
Not bad, especially for a first jam! At first I was a bit confused on how to play since there were no instructions and thought it was a mouse based game. But I got if figured out. Nice job
Very nice game! I was confused at first as it said "a single button" in the description so I thought you'd play only with one button :laughing: Once found though it was a really fun ride, cool idea, super addictive, just the right amount of difficulty, and with a music just perfect for it, well done!
Really cool graphics and even better mood ! The gameplay loop (die&retry, quickly) is really cool ! Even if it's a little hard/challenging, it's also commiting, they are clear pattern, and the controller is bouncy but fun (plus, the obstacle still allow you a lot of failure) so it's easy to retry and finally, to progresss ! Even if it's short, it was cool and good to play it!
@chris-mulholland Thank you very much for the feedback and I'm glad that you finished it. :D
@simplepotential Thank you!
@macmist Haha, maybe my description should have been more detailed about the controls. Thank you for the feedback! :)
@ribout-horace Thank you very much, I really appreciate the feedback! :)
