OMG the visuals are incredible. The game it self is nice, i like that you have to switch your vision from the bottom to top screen as a comet approch. But I think it would have been cool if you would have got to move around the planet to track the comet
This game is so cute and polished! The newscaster's expressions are super fun, the bottom part is pretty, and the news subtitles are really funny! I also like how the background gets more destroyed as you get hit.
I tried on PC but I bet it's great on mobile too. If you want to improve the game, I think being able to use keyboard keys or right/left mouse button, rather than moving the mouse back and forth, would be great for playing on PC.

I love the graphics as things fall apart. I kept getting distracted as I was reading the text. I had one job! And I failed it. Overall, I felt it was really well presented.
I did have some issues with some comets wrapping around the planet and just barely crossing the light/dark side line but, still appearing on the right side of my screen.
Amazing ! The mecha fighting asteroids is the best idea ahah and the graphics are amazing !! And it gets hard fast :triumph:

The art, mood and humor are really great. I like the double screen design, it's funny to switch between reading stupid lines and looking out for the next asteroïd 🤖🏏☄️
Small bug: I had no sound on my second try!
I really like the orbit change mechanic, it'd be really fun if two meteors that meet in orbit could destroy each other, it would add another layer to the gameplay loop. Audio is nice, though the music could sit a bit quieter in the overall mix. Really loved playing it!

Thank you for all the comments! - Yes it's basically a made to be a DS game - We are aware that the music doesn't play after your first try, it's because the earth is already destroyed and you live in a simulation now

Simple gameplay with lots of style and some great humor. I really enjoyed it when I missed hitting the comet and the reporter started running around or her eyes became circles. The news headlines made me laugh.
Art was on point. All of it looked great and I really liked that the city getting destroyed was an indicator of how well you are doing.
Your game is great! such a simple idea but really well executed, loved the art but the music is on another level, i can't stop dancing hahaha. The messages from the TV were so funny
I love this! The concept, design, animations... all charming, polished, and well done! Creative presentation as a dual news feed, which really added to the experience. I especially like the use of the clock for the score. The text crawl got some laughs out of me ("PLEASE STOP CALLING 911, THEY KNOW").
It's hard to think of constructive criticism because it's pretty solid, honestly. The music got a little repetitive after a while, though it fits the tone of the game well. Maybe some variation to the sound effects would be good, and a sound cue when the comets have entered the atmosphere would help players' timing. A whoosh that gets louder as they get closer?
I can easily see this as a full-blown app game, complete with alternate sports-themed robots to unlock, heheh. Very nice work!

Super fun game!!! I loved everything about it, from the simple concept, your take on the theme, to the amazing graphics and the sense of humor. Having the "breaking news" text as a way to display information and jokes that make the whole mood of the game is a very clever idea. I also liked how clear the indications were as to when the meteor would hit the Earth. I would have loved increasing difficulty over time. Because once you "get" the rythm of the meteors, it's easy to just continue hitting forever until you're bored. But this is a very minor setback. Congrats for this very strong entry :)
The visual are great and soo funny! I loved it!
The gameplay itself is fun, however I felt like the beginning was too slow.... It didn't make me wabt to try again to beat my highscore because I would have to go trough it again.
The embedded tutorial is perfect, simple, fast and efficient. A great addition to your game!
Very cute game, love the TV reporter freaking out and the silly headlines! It's hard to tell exactly when to time your hits but otherwise I enjoyed it quite a lot. Gets really hectic when you're juggling multiple comets - fun!

I love the aesthetics of the game and the humour in the television prompts ! Found it a bit hard to time the baseball bat though. Great work !
this is a really nice game, with a lot of features i like : the format is great, i like the split screen, banners are mostly fun, animations (and how the city slowly gets on fire) are great! screen was a bit small on my computer tho.
maybe i didn't see it because i was not very good, but it seemed to me that there are maximum 2 comets at the same time? i was guessing there'd be more and more comets coming. but maybe it is the case, and i just sucked at game haha
There is a maximum of 10 comets in the game :) You need to make no mistakes 20 times in raw to get all of them !
