Mole Defender by slam-nine 2022-10-05T02:13:07Z

The soundtrack is deceptively calm for such an intense game, haha! It's a nice track, just a bit repetitive. A handful of simple sound effects would give it all a lot of life. Love the low-poly visuals and lighting! I feel bad crushing such adorable moles, heheh. I think the gameplay was unintuitive at first, even though I did figure it out. It might have benefitted from the tool you're using appearing at the cursor or something, just to make it extra obvious that's what you're doing. It's a solid concept, and you should be happy!

Night Watch by Gus the Shark 2022-10-05T01:54:24Z

What a solid concept! And impressive for a game jam! At first, it felt really slow, and I was impatient to only get one gold per day. However, that pacing ultimately gave the game some tension, so I think it's a net positive. I think an icon key for reference would be a benefit, as would a more dynamic indicator of the day/night cycle (like a little Minecraft-style clock perhaps?), and it could have used some audio to enhance the experience.

My first attempt had me scratching my head a bit, but winning made me want more, so well done on that front! I hope you consider developing this further.

Homerun for your life! by ChevalBancal 2022-10-05T02:44:56Z

I love this! The concept, design, animations... all charming, polished, and well done! Creative presentation as a dual news feed, which really added to the experience. I especially like the use of the clock for the score. The text crawl got some laughs out of me ("PLEASE STOP CALLING 911, THEY KNOW").

It's hard to think of constructive criticism because it's pretty solid, honestly. The music got a little repetitive after a while, though it fits the tone of the game well. Maybe some variation to the sound effects would be good, and a sound cue when the comets have entered the atmosphere would help players' timing. A whoosh that gets louder as they get closer?

I can easily see this as a full-blown app game, complete with alternate sports-themed robots to unlock, heheh. Very nice work!

Also, do want a B-453D BOT tshirt

Radar Rider by 3LSTMsInATrenchcoat 2022-10-05T01:41:05Z

Ooh, this is such an awesome concept! Great interpretation of the theme. Had an amazing "oh shit" moment where it turns into a tense horror game, haha. Cool that the thing trying to kill me was actually helping me orient myself. Really nice minimal visuals that would fit in an 80s arcade. Really, my only negative comment is the sound effect for mines showing up; I turned my volume way down on the more dense levels, heh. If you keep working on it, I'd consider adding little visual effects to radar pings, giving the pings a softer sound effect, and putting in a simple ambient soundtrack. Gameplay-wise (and outside of the 10-second theme), I can imagine levels with faster or slower radar and longer or shorter pings to vary the pacing. This seriously has a lot of potential, and you should be proud.

Spaceship Parking Simulator by fuzzybut 2022-10-05T01:03:58Z

Love the vibe of the music and just drifting through space. Nice art on the cosmic objects. Gravity would have been cool but definitely would have made it a different game, more chaotic. Some kind of danger indicator for speed might have helped ease me into it, but it only took a handful of attempts to start getting point, haha. I think the controls and the gameplay feel unique, so good job!
