liked the game, especially how charmingly you diluted it with humour! would be great to add more time so player can examine environment for a bit longer. also it was quite hard to jump over some platforms, but it's just an additional thing for the level design improvement. despite all this, i enjoyed the game. good job!
Very unique way for the theme implementation, was fun to play indeed. Loved the addition of the AC/DC song, totally sets the atmosphere for the game. And grandma's voice, dang it, it was so realistically vocalised, gives a reason to make this game a horror. Good job!

@christian-zommerfelds thanks for the feedback! first of all, the girl was meant to be bigger than the main character, it's a metaphor :) second of all, the mechanics of the stairs supposed to be not-that-quite-easy-to-use, but at the same time we had limited time to polish it (maybe we will fix it after all). finally, we fixed critical bugs (and if you didn't find it, than it's good) and we added animation of trampoline! so that's it

i saw the straight up connection with one particular song and couldn't skip the game. even though game isn't about this, it was nice! both the theme and the problem are really well disclosed. was hard to understand controls but i figured it out quickly. good entry!
If I'm being honest, I was trying so hard to climb up (and I did! But then I crashed near the cross and game glitched as well, maybe it was my grave after all. I was playing on html, so maybe it was a browser glitch), but after a countless number of tries I failed. All people above elaborated on this problem and how to solve it, so I have nothing to say but to agree with them (not in a bad way though!). The style and the sound of the game are GREAT, nothing to add either. To be honest, I would try to pass this game, just because my curiosity is stronger than my failure. I almost memorised the right amount of strength we need to use, so I hope luck will be on my side. Your project is just so charming, so the countless tries was worth it after all, despite all the failures. And of course, mechanics are great, but need a little improvement for a convenient gameplay. Really nice entry, thank you!
it's almost 4 am here and you totally made my night, not gonna lie. at first i was captivated by the cute art style, but then when i saw a "story about being queer in a capitalistic world", i literally gasped cause of excitement. because for me, as a trans person, these little silly games with their little silly stories about little silly queer people are SO important, so you've done a great job at least for this reason. found impressive the dialogue features, especially when somebody used our deadname or the correct pronouns. very good entry, thank you so much for sharing this project and showing representation :) <3
despite the fact of simple implementation i liked it! totally got the vibe. was getting frustrated while our boss was bothering us with his unrelated to work questions but i guess that's the boss work. i guess i did a great job telling him i'm not fucking his wife, it would be dishonorable. hope that you will improve your project into something bigger, cause i loved the humor part and how you managed to imply it into the game (graphics also slaps). good luck!
loved the game experience where you just make fun from it by yourself. chill music would be a nice addition to the game! btw, me and my friend became so attached to the black chicken named debra β she lived the longest! we really decided to kill all chickens, so she would be the one remain as the boss chicken, but game crashed, oops. i guess, no violence for the one soul!

first of all, it's a really great and massive work for one person β great job! we've been watching you since you were posting about your progress, so we glad you did it to the end! secondly, graphic is great BUT REALLY hard controls, maybe less sharp moves would make it easier! nice usage of the ld51 theme! nice job!
guys, we'd been speedrunning levels again and again, cause game was crashing on some certain levels and we couldn't restart level (from the fifth level and so on), BUT we almost did it to the end (just got tired a little bit from restarting the game), controls seemed to be hard but something shifted, when we faced the main bug.. anyway, this was a fun experience indeed, the idea is great! i hope, you'll polish it a little bit, make less sensitive controls and it'll be the funniest game, i swear!
awesome concept, nice pixel art. was lagged sometimes when i wanted to take oil canister, but i couldn't take it for some reason. overall i liked the idea of the loop

from the first sight at the game you understand that this was made by really good level designers β you are awesome guys! some moments were tough (stuck at level 3 but figured it out), but it's fine overall. very fun and dynamic gameplay, pleasant graphics. was shocked how huge game was, great job!

@jag the main thought of the game is that you need to recharge your battery every 10 seconds getting the robo nanny on the charge station (i hope you checked the photoshopped photo of our game above, where we said about it..). the e button for interaction is still valid! you can checked our last post ld51 version (named as 3.1-builds on itch.io) for a better experience! controls are still hard to, unfortunately, but we hope you'll enjoy!

i liked the atmosphere of the game! menu was so needed cause i couldn't restart in-game process and needed to restart the game. tv antenna encounter needs to be a little polished cause it was hard to set it correctly in the required time. nice job guys, keep upgrading!

really innovative game, i'd say so! the concept is great, like that the usage of weapon is limited, you need to understand how to get through the mobs, etc. i'd recommend you to make your levels less bigger, cause sometimes it took too long to get to the starting point or areas with mobs was too broad, but it's just a little recommendation for the better gaming experience. nice art, tho. some more details would make it more Futuristic, idk. i liked it a lot, you did a great job!
reminds me of jetpack joyride and ofc flappy bird (liked the pan in the name of the game xd). graphics are so good, main character is very cute. maybe some progression would be a nice addition for the game (you can even sell it on mobile phones, u know). really good game for ld, good job guys!
loved sarcastic personalities of the main characters, atmosphere was perfectly conveyed thanks to the music and the color scheme. would be nice if verticality was included, cause sometimes it was boring to move left and right and to wait for rooms to switch. but in general it's a nice entry!
sometimes it was frustrating to play because of some colliders on rooftops but overall if you fix those minor bugs it will be playable! i'd like to praise artist work cause, i have no idea how skilful you must be to do something like that! good job!

love the way we were flying around a really small abandoned town helping our friends to find umbrellas, it was cozy id say. nothing much i can say, you did a really great for a compo! one of my favourites entries so far

we thought youβd like to see the new post ld version of our little project. weβve been working on our game (also took your advices) and changed/added some things for the better and smoother gaming experience (we added tutorial, menu, penguins naming, smoother building roads controls, etc. you can check everything in description)
weβre now working on improving the color selection ui for a more pleasant usage, but for now it remains the same

damn i didn't suspect it to be THAT long, it's impressive and only adds more points to your compo work! i'm a little dummy when it comes to playing any fighting games but for me personally adding a such feature as hitting a jar twice so that you can get an extra heart was really helpful (hope it was made intentionally). the mood was really nice and the game itself has a welcoming atmosphere along with the story. nice entry!
ok i found it really interesting how u need to go through the rooms by using keys on a keyboard. also i want to mention the vibe it gives in general, really unsettling i'd say.. maybe the art style and music created this atmosphere but i kinda liked it even tho it was a pretty short experience! i'd add something more to the gameplay but it's game designer's business so it's good as it was intended! i'll try your other games 'cause i saw they have the same vibe. good job guys!
