This is fun! Cute graphics and very good use of the simple game mechanics. The double-jump idea is nice, but a little difficult to execute, which can lead to situations where the packet is lost and you have to restart the level. Or am I missing something?

This is a really cool game! Striking visual aesthetic mixed with interesting platform mechanics. Reminds me of something like a gameboy game where you maximize what is possible with as few buttons as possible, like how the button for throwing the box changes how the throw works depending on if you are pressing other buttons. Good work!

The visuals are really great and the controlls feel good! Too bad the level becomes impossible really fast, it seems some mistake happened during development. Are you guys planning on fixing it and releasing an update? The game seems really fun, I would love to play it the way you guys intended it.

Wow really creative use of theme. I love the puzzle mechanic of the box giving you a double jump but you can't jump while holding it. The character felt really good to jump around and slide with. The simple drawn art style is really great and the animations are so smooth. I wish there was some music it would really tie this whole thing together. Very well thought out and polished game. Fantastic job!

Very good entry there! First some more negative points: It's a bit frustrating that the levels are so long without any checkpoints, in this context I think I would've preferred them to be like 3 or 4 times shorter (2-3 screens wide or something). But I guess the length of the levels is also what gives the "delivery person" feeling (having a long route with some obstacles, instead of just rooms full of obstacles) so I also understand your choice! Also a small bug that maybe was already reported, I could never throw the box in the air too close to a wall, which forced me to reposition multiple times every time I wanted to jump. Now the real deal: I gotta say I felt very cool playing this character :laughing: nice game feels, the jumps and camera movements were very pleasant. On the art level it's also great, very beautiful and detailed. The mechanics are also good. I was very confused with the controls at first, but finally got a hang of it and it becomes very satisfactory when it does. I also got to say this is the most "Delivery" game I've tested so far I think? This interaction with the box really does it. Great job! (I didn't finish the game because it's 3am here but I'm looking forward to it!) PS : for some reason I also stumbled upon the other "delivered with care" entry, if you have some time it's also a cool game! :smile:
@alyd-asmar (It's also 3am here lol oops) I understand your negative points and I actually agree! It wasn't a choice haha, we actually wanted to add enemies to throw the box at or jump on their head. It would have given a lot of depth to moving around and we could have added some verticality. But alas, we were very short on time and couldn't shorten the levels on time when we realized we were not going to implement the enemies.

Nice graphics and challenging game. The mechanics are a bit hard to master and the lack of checkpoints make it almost impossible to finish.
I liked the concept and you used very well the theme delivery.

super cool :} level design hasnt been mentioned in the comments but i can tell it was carefully designed. the jumping when regrabbing the box seems like a bug that you made work lmao.
Really cool idea that you have to throw the package before jumping and the other functions with the package. But I think the difficulty is quite high. Anyway, I still had fun and really like the visual style.
@stevi60 haha I should've guessed from the French name in the devs :stuck_out_tongue: (i'm in a French team too!) That's a tough thing in jams I guess, that anything you're not doing right now you might never have time to do it :laughing: but well with enemies and without checkpoints maybe the game would've been more frustrating? well maybe I'm thinking this just because I'm clumsy xD Anyways you've still managed to produce a very complete entry, with or without enemies, so congrats on that :)

Nice charming LD entry. Well done! The controls are fun once you figure out that you can throw while in the air and that you can throw diagonally.
Very cute game, I love the visual style! The maneuvers you can do using the box make the platforming quite interesting and unique, though it'd be nice to have some moments where the game may teach you these techniques as it took me some time to figure it out myself.
Otherwise it was a lot of fun, with some gameplay tweaks and music I'd say you'd have something very special :)
Good game. The gameplay is fun. But sometimes I accidently pressed the restart the level several times. I like a graphics and audio.

Very smooth character animation!!! The gameplay experience is very very smooth! I especially like the sliding and flicking action of the character as well as the action of throwing the box and pressing the button! It's really comfortable!! The art style is also very cool! I love this game!
During the gameplay, I always forget which key is for throwing the box and which key is for jumping. In the process of trying, I often damage the box, haha.

This is awesome! First of all, the gameplay idea is very unique and engaging. I was having fun until throughout the whole game. It got a little bit repetitive towards the end, though, but only a little bit. But the mechanics have so much potential. I would actually but a full commercial version of this game, if it ever gets completed. The art style, background music, and sound effects created such a nice street/city vibes. It was a very immersive and enjoyable experience. Thank you for making it!

Votre jeu est très cool ! Je trouve le concept vraiment astucieux et yaurait largement de quoi faire un jeu entier avec ça ! L'équilibrage et la physique utilisés sont pas mal pour un jeu de jam et pour un concept aussi chaud à équilibrer. Vraiment bravo ! On a un bon aperçu de ce que cela pourrait donner si cela était approfondi ! La dualité entre le porteur et le carton est très agréable à manipuler et le fait de "visualiser" la séquence à exécuter avant de le faire est grisante ! Si vous cherchiez une bonne idée de jeu à développer en vue de le publier, je pense que vous tenez un très bon filon ! Je serais curieux de voir une version plus évoluée ! La musique et le style graphique sont très cools aussi ! Le style dessiné en noir et blanc me remémore quelques bons jeux flash à l'époque ^^
Il y a quand mêmes quelques bugs ou soucis d'équilibrages, mais globalement ça passe, et vu le soin apporté au reste cela se pardonne aisément ! Deux dernières remarques : monter des marches est très vite laborieux ahah ^^ Mais jeter le carton sur les vigils tout en le récupérant est très juicy !
