One of the most fun games in LD34. But I think I've found a bug. Witnesses were telling me that the favorite food and toy were candy and pencil, but they did not work and I ended up trying out everything. Mirco and candy worked out.

Nice game! Although it was a bit hard to get the idea of what is going on :D And I have occasionaly managed to crash the game by spaming the release button( lots of cards appeared on the screen overlapping each other ) Good luck.

A quite interesting game, but controls are driving me mad. Epesialy ladders. They just freak me out ( You have to press Up arrow and right or left one to jump off the ladder and small collision box of ladder, which is extremely hard to descend. )

The game is quite unplayable. Maybe I had no idea of how to play because of my stupidity, but it looked like the game broke down. Had 1 monster runing after me and another one shooting and actually nothing else happening( No progress of the game at all ) Also using the holes in the level I could access the outer part of it, which seam to be developed as unreachable. Hope, you'd fix it. Good luck.

Really good job guys! It was fun and the art is amazing!) A suggestion from me would be modifying the bullets. Bigger size (at least visualy) and a brighter color would make them pop up, so u don't get occasional "unfair" hits, when you just oversee them. Also slower bullet speed would allow for more interesting dodge mechainc (See doom 2 or Enter the Gungeon). But in the end its up to you! :D Also check out my fps game, I would appreciate any feedback and criticism!

Really cool game and one of the most fun ones I have played this LD. Only criticism that I could come up with is that it is hard for me to see the enemy bullets especially when there is a lot of stuff going on screen while dodging. Maybe reserving contrasting(against anything else) color for enemy bullets or more animations on them would solve the problem. Anyway great job!

Absolutely adored the style and mood of the game. Got a space exploration vibe immediately. But it wasn't really fun for me. Didn't feel any room for tactics or skill except for flying almost into enemy and shooting repeatedly. Dodging in this game is too difficult for me as well.

Graphics is really cool, especially the ships and post processing. But unfortunately controls ruined the fun for me. Shooting and moving at the same time is a nightmare and asteroid are OP. Oh, man. The most effective tactic for me is just dodging untill the asteroids do the job.

Nice work! Loved the vibe and mood. Font, audio and general tone of the game were on point! But, unfortunately, I didn't really like the movement in the game. For me personally it is way too unpredictable. Anyway, keep up the good work!

P.S. I see zero reason to make player press P to play, instaed of W. Just makes me look at the keyboard and reflect on my miserable life :)

Nice entry! I was hooked by the artstyle initially and visualy the game looks very cool! The gameplay, unfortunately, was a little frustrating to me, as attacking even stationary heads 80% of the time forced me to take contact damage even when I was deliberatly accurate with my moves. I would prefer to have invincibility frames or knokback on either the heads or player upon impact.

To be honest, I hate commenting on such games. It is deeply rooted in the author's personality, it is evident. This is why anything I will say is almost meaningless, as the experience was an authentic look of one person. This is where the brilliance of the game comes from. I enjoyed the whole experience and can say that it is GREAT work. Visuals, text and general mood, the whole package is amazing, touching. The only criticism of @shadowcast, which I think he probably should wholeheartedly ignore, is that the dialogue feels just a little rushed, hopping from point to point and the metaphors are just a little clumsy. I love what you did, I feel like you found your game design style and it is wonderful. I wish all the best in refining it to perfection, as I see amazing talent behind this game. P.S. If you feel like talking about game design, art or anything else, I would be delighted to have a conversation.

Overall, a very solid entry. In my opinion eveything is on a high level. Very polished entry and loved the consitency of the game design. Just to give a little bit of feedback to improve upon, I have had problems seeing missiles with my peripheral vision. Bright white particles, flames of rockets and other noise was cluttering my perception severly, making it harder to play. But, once again, a very solid entry, hope to see you high in the rankings!
