The itch.io link doesn't work (yet?), maybe some typo in the URL or not published yet?

kason-xiv 2022-04-05 01:01

No luck with the URL for me either :<

nicorm 2022-04-05 01:12

I can't play it, it gives an error

cinnamon18 2022-04-05 01:13

Same :(

kubert 2022-04-05 01:33

Sorry we couldn't figure out export. F for the web version :/ You can now download .exe tho... :)

starship-captain-becca 2022-04-05 01:49

Cute game! We had a similar concept, with resisting waking up (alarms are BAD!), but it's a platformer.

Only problem with your game is that we were not able to go full screen, and there was one alarm (the phone) that we couldn't see, so we could not smash it.

meeseagainsthumanity 2022-04-05 02:00

Unfortunate you couldn't figure out the web version. Definitely worth the download though.

fulminderek 2022-04-05 02:07

This one is fantastic! I literally said "Oh damn" when I saw the starting cutscene, plus I had a blast trying to find all the alarms with my eyes closed lol

viittaa 2022-04-05 02:08

Cool animation and cool pixel art, just WOW, art is just chic!

mooptychunk 2022-04-05 02:28

Really creative, and I'm a huge fan of the art style. Nice stuff!

viktor-dedek 2022-04-06 07:13

My own alarm (electric table telling me to stand up) started to beep on top of the game's four other alarms haha. Great graphics, loved the falling asleep animation. Nice idea and nice finished game. It's quite hard - realistic :clock:

mlho7 2022-04-07 00:30

Really good job, art is super cool, animation is top level, well done.

ardorugus 2022-04-07 04:09

This is why I never use the alarm clock and don't sleep with the phone around. Cool pixel art and the idea is involving. Still, reminded me those times when you actually had to run to the office for no reason at all. Thanks for the goosebumps of remembrance, man!

wilhelmstein 2022-04-07 19:14

Oh god, I was about to go to sleep. Thanks for that , at least it's friday tomorrow...

One of my fav entries. Caused be PTSD 10/10.

zimny11 2022-04-08 10:13

I'm here, are promised. Really nice made game. I love the music. The pixel art is also cool. I got to 6:42 way to early for me :P And there is a dogo :)

supersonic 2022-04-08 15:48

haha cool concept and fun to play, reminds me of my morning wake ups :D cool audio as well

ded 2022-04-09 18:40

Great idea perfectly going with the theme. And very nice & clean execution. Only thing is that intro could be skippable or skipped automatically after game restart...

okamit 2022-04-11 21:26

Really fun idea, took a few tries to get the hang of the controls, but after that it was really fun to play.

Art looks great too, really like the style!

Great work!

Really nice idea and implementation of the theme. Really challenging as well. Good job!

proxy-games 2022-04-13 03:20

Nice game, overall. It was surprisingly challenging all things considered, though I feel like part of that was simply because I was struggling with the controls. I feel like this game with the hand attached to the mouse cursor and with left click to smash instead of the arrow keys and space would've been a lot easier to handle. I feel like part of the point is the difficulty of the controls, though. The graphics are nicely done, and the audio is all good-the music especially is well done. This was a very nice, quick to pick up and play entry. Good job!

I managed to play it on Steam Deck via Proton, though on the 1280x800 display, the bottom portion of the frame was cut off. I suspect this has to do with 2D world scaling settings in the Godot project.

I like the idea, and the novel approach to controls. I'm very much a snooze person, though I'm also a night owl and would never set my alarms to 05:00 :joy: The snoring sounds at the start were a little obnoxious ;)

Lovely visuals!

aldebaram 2022-04-15 21:52

The arts and animations were amazing, the game was so much fun. Great job.

skruffye 2022-04-17 14:19

Really great concept--way too relatable.

Managing to slap an alarm off without opening your eyes was just as good a feeling in the game as it is in real life.

Lovely little touches on the water glass, books on the shelf (I think? I was concentrating too hard on staying asleep :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: ) and the dog.

Simple gameplay made really appealing with a solid concept, great art and lovely, unobtrusive music.

Great work!

satacat 2022-04-18 23:13

damn guys this graphics are so cool (big fan of pixel art ngl, so this project struck me in the heart in a good way). good implementation of the theme and nice sound design, would totally give someone a war flashbacks. good job!

binaryprinciple 2022-04-19 04:03

Now that's innovation! Well done! The art style is great and the sounds along with the music theme. A simple game that become addictive. Honestly I don't know what to add since it feels very complete within the spirit of the old QWOP game.

blubberquark 2022-04-21 06:50

This is a great take on the theme!

schwede 2022-04-21 12:23

What a true story! When you get sense of the game, you can exploit it when you keep your eyes shut but smashes everything!
