Nice and relaxing game!

Reminds me back to the good old days of playing pokemon ranger on my gameboy. Unintended nostalgia!

Fun and interesting mechanic, showcases games don't need to be complex to be fun! I expected some enemies at the end, that might be something for a future iteration :)

This is a really unique approach! I'm impressed by the mechanic implementation in such a short timespan!

@mumaitron that is something I noticed as well, some visual feedback would probably be a good addition. The sounds that get added are notes from a single octave but there is no way to know which tile is what at the moment. I am planning to have a look into that though!

@satacat If you use the right mouse button you can rotate the camera, I have added this to the description since I don't want to reupload it after the deadline.

@zepimppotatoe Thank you for your feedback! There is an entire level generator that randomizes the level every time the next room is cleared. You can read all about it in the devlog: https://torbenv.itch.io/master-of-tiles/devlog/184567/the-writhing-of-the-code

@pickens-inc the art style was chosen this way because our artist felt more comfortable with 2D, she had not made 3D before but we were also having a hard time figuring out a way to make a 2D level interesting without making it a platformer.

The gameplay I totally agree is a little dull, there is a lack of feedback to the player and figuring out the purpose of the game needs a bit of work to be more obvious.

About the right clicking I can possibly just lock the camera so it follows naturally instead of needing to hold right click :)
