Awesome game! I like the concept and graphics, and the level design is also good. An in-game rules panel is needed! Now I must read the rule-pyramid in this page. And I think in more complex levels, 10 seconds is too short to plan and finish the connection concurrently, maybe we can start timing after connecting the first line? Well done, I really expect a more complete version :)
@ggross Thanks for your comment :) I tried to make the rules simple and logical so everyone can figure out while playing. I don't want players to look at a diagram all the time while playing. Rule pyramid is just a helper at the start for players to get an idea about the rules. Also about the 10 seconds thing, I myself am not a big fan of the timer too. If i would make this game outside of the jam, I'd definitely not put a timer. Maybe i might add a timerless mode in the future.
Solid look and presentation. I loved the concept of building the connections and how it was rolled out as part of an advancing puzzle set.

I liked the game, and think you did a nice job. I like the music and graphics too, was a nice vibe altogether. The introductory levels were good too. But I can't figure out how to get past level 6? I feel like the concepts taught didn't translate to that level? In previous levels you were able to build subways below roads, but in this level you couldn't for some reason. Maybe I completely misunderstood something, but I genuinely can't get past level 6 lol.
Also, to me, while the game is genuinely good and interesting, I just feel like the theme "Every 10 Seconds" is somewhat of an afterthought. Didn't affect the gameplay whatsoever in my opinion. But again, the game itself I really liked.
@busisen Thank you for your feedabck (: The thing is when you try to build a subway system on top of a road, it breaks the road because it should be under the road. So you should break (right click) the road first then build the subway. You have to build everything in order. Unfortunately i couldn't pass this idea well with my tutorials. Also about the 10 seconds thing, if you play the later levels it really makes things harder,so much connections to make but only 10 seconds. Thank you again for your feedback!

@holyperson thanks for the clarifying reply! Just beat all 13 levels, was a really good challenge, especially those later levels like you said. Really well put together and polished. Nice submission :)

Nice game! Because of the theme it is very stressfull ;) The concept is really good. With better graphics, this game could be perfect. Good job and thank you for this good time. Well done
Feels very smooth and polished! :) It was a bit confusing for me what is allowed and what not but the increasing difficultiy through the levels helps to manage the complexity well.
The level design did a great job of explaining the mechanics of building. I would have liked a way to skip the countdown so I wasn't waiting for 8 seconds on a piece of the level I already solved a couple times. Nice submision.
@urggann Thank's for your comment (:
@xoreaxeax Thanks for your comment (: It was confusing for some people unfortunately, I could have explained the rules better.
@bangkerpow Thank's for your feedback (: I thought about putting a skip button too but i wasn't sure that if it would fit the theme or not.

I really liked your game! I love games that give us a chance to think before our actions. Even though I couldn't finish some levels in 10 seconds, it was fun to play :)
@sailors Thank's for your comment. Glad you liked it! Shwoop
Super nice visuals! I love the art style, minimalistic but smooth and it feels very polished. Tutorial levels could probably better introduce mechanics, level 5 is somehow unbeatable, I don't understand how to finish it :-/ But it's a jam game, it's understandable (I didn't have time for tutorial levels in my game this time.. like at all.. so I'm the last one who should complain about this :D
Anyway, the game is super-polished, great entry!

i like the art style
@jiri-hysek Thanks for your feedback! I'am also not very happy with my tutorial bu let me try to explain to you. on level 5 a new ability is introduced: Removing roads by right clicking on the road. After the first 10 seconds you are suppose to break the existing road and connect the closest houses together. Unfortunately a lot of people couldn't understand this mechanic from my tutorials ):
@holyperson Oh, now I get it! Not removing roads - that was clear. What wasn't clear for me was what what to do next. Because I was trying to connect all houses. Which couldn't be done even after removing the road. But I can connect two and two separately. Now I get it :) On the other hand, level 6 is pretty clear to me. Cool, I'm gonna try next levels and have some fun :) Thanks!

The visuals are very nice, and I can see how these systems could lead to some interesting logic/sequencing puzzles, but the timer really worked against the game for me. The timer made the later puzzles actively frustrating e.g. the third stage required multiple quick actions, and a reset took you back to a quick and easy first stage.
Generally, you have to be a little too precise with where you're dragging, and the timer made that issue a bit worse. Here are some specific examples:
It wasn't very intuitive for me that you had to drag all the way to the target square to complete a route. I initially tried releasing the mouse one short because it visually looked like the road was connecting to the target building. It would have been nice if that had completed the route (unless it is ambiguous).
Dragging along a route, if you cut a corner that's off grid or invalid, you have to go back and re-do that movement. It would be really nice if the input areas around edges/invalid squares were a little more forgiving, and maybe if there was a little interpretation around corners.
I also found myself dragging to the end of the route and releasing my mouse past that space and off the grid, which reset the route. It would have been nice if that counted.
If you were going to remove the timer for a post-jam version of the game, those little things could still help improve the game feel.
I like the puzzle you have here (minus the timer). This really seems like something you could extend into a larger game with more mechanics and complexity, and it's a really good start.
@juxipolo Thank you so much for your detailed feedback (: I am aware of all the problems that you described, lots of people who played encountered the same problems about controls. I wish i had more time to fix them but unfortunateley. And you are absoluteley right about the timer. If i get the motivation and time, i will definetely make a post jam version with these problems fixed. Thank you again for your feedback.

This game plays really great! The tutorial through level system works incredibly well. Granted i read a few comments beforehand and therefore knew about the up and under difference but i think with trial and error i would have found out anyway. The Graphics and Sounds are very charming and provide a relaxed gameplay experience even though there are some (rather unnoticable) time constraints.
This is my only negative point of critique: The 10 seconds dont really feel necessary. Its never really to short but makes an otherwise super calm game a tiny bit hectic. Sometimes it is just even a bit to long to wait for the new elements to appear.
But depite my grudges with the theme-implementation i will definitely recommend your game to friends!
@willoxs Thank you so much for your great comment (: If i get the motivation i will definitely add a timerless mode.
Very fun game with amazing audio, also loved the look and vibe of the game. I think this is a great new take on the train connecting puzzle genre, just wish when connecting things, the lines would jump to your mouse if the cursor went passed tiles without touching them, and that connections didn't work after the time is up so it doesn't look like you made it in time when you didn't, other than that, amazing work!

Very nice game. It reminds me mini metro. All is very polished, good job
pretty clever game design, nice touch with the 10 seconds marks making it harder for every layer you need to add! The tiles are looking pretty good and the tutorial is very nice at the beginning :)
Neat puzzle game with a very nice presentation, both with the aesthetics and the level design and progression. I did find myself getting a bit frustrated with it, although I disagree with a lot of the comments; I think that the hectic-ness of the timer would work for this style of puzzle if there was a "skip" button when you solve an early step and the timer turns green. Having to wait 10-30 seconds through the easy steps each time you want to iterate on a solution is rough, but the tension of the timer does add an interesting spin to the puzzle-solving challenge. All in all, very nice work!
I agree with the points from @juxipolo It got a little frustrating when you thought you did the right connection by stopping outside the "house". Other than that - a very nice entry - well polished - soothing atmosphere. :thumbsup_tone1:

Very solid puzzle game,
I felt frustrated at time, when I had to remove little pieces of previous infrastructure that was proken up by a new path. But I think that's cool, it just meant I had to find the correct order of removing and placing element.
With a track pad, drawing path was a bit clumsy (Ok, I was clumsy...) There is something to be done to help drawing the path, but I don't know what.
The graphics are is cool but there should be something in the tile (lake, mountain...) and connector (road, pipe, ...) design that indicates on which level they operate (ex: brown tile = underground, green tile = ground level, blue tile above ground).
That would maybe lend to nice puzzles with tiles that could be connectors (brown/blue for electricity going from below ground to above ground, brown/green for roads that lead underground. So you would have to connect house -- road -- tunnel entry -- tunnel -- tunnel entry -- road -- house)

I really enjoyed this game! The way you introduced concepts of the games was brilliant!
Great job!
Looks really nice and the puzzles are fun! However the mechanics of building combined with the timer were a bit frustrating. Took me a long time on level 6 to figure out that you can only build streets on rails but not the other way around.
Otherwise I do think that you did a really good introduction into the game where the first level was very easy and you slowly progress into more difficult levels.
Looks and feels great, very nice polish. I loved that you managed to include a gradual tutorial, however by level 6 I did get a bit lost and only managed to finish the game after reading the comments. Overall great stuff!

very cute and meaningful puzzle with relaxing music that doesn't destroy your brain cells while you thinking. liked the mechanics and how you add progression. you did a great job for one person, good job!
I love this little puzzle. The graphics are beautiful and the music creates a calm atmosphere even though this game is very stressfull. I panicked a lot due to the 10 seconds time limit. Anyways, I really liked how you made the game more difficult with each level and how you slowly introduced the railway, electricity lines and water pipes.
I struggled with level 7 and 11 the most due to the game mechanics. For example I placed a road and had to connect two railway stations. The rail line disrupts the road so I have to reconnect the two houses again. But I cannot override my existing road, so I have to delete the road and rebuild it from start to end.
But neverthless I still enjoyed your game a lot! Definitely one of my favourites.
Very nice puzzle game! I like how intuitive it feel but how the difficulty ramps up. Great visuals as well!
