Hang on, Bill! by zanzavar 2020-10-07T13:00:57Z
Such a fun concept. Only wish Bill got stuck in a loop more than once!

Simple and amazingly depressing. Could have gone a couple days more, but this was short and sweet... As much as a sad game can be.
Honestly so fun, made me remember all those forgotten flash games I played as a kid.
Lil problem with the button in the tutorial it seems to appear in the wrong place. Otherwise I couldn't find a fault
Very fun game! Plus a nice touch that when you're losing sleep day becomes dark and then you lose your field of vision.
That ending got me good. Amazing game and you've made very good use of the mechanics you've added. Huge fan!
Definitely one of those "hard at first, but even harder to master games", I'm eternally impressed when someone makes a 3D game for LD and when it's so visually appealing like this one it's even more spectacular.
Set up a watchalong with my Jam buddies and we had a blast. It's a shame the Oscars were already passed, because the Narrator an the Ghost would be great contenders.
I really liked the idea. At first I though it was going to be similar to the Fireboy and Watergirl type 2 player games, but the character switches really give it a different vibe to it. Unfortunately that mechanic also needs some fine tuning, I mostly had trouble recognizing which character was selected and ended up dying to that quite a lot. Regardless a fun idea and seeing more puzzle levels in it would be very fun.
If I could give 10 starts in mood I would. I did notice there were some corridors that lead to the void and as I went I dies I was expecting from something to happen on the blank black screen. A death message there would be nice. But still moody and impressive for a 3D to be done so quickly.
Short sweet and extremely atmospheric. I also liked the how the puzzles fit in with the story which in a game with a heavy theme and a tense build-up is a hard thing to do!
Super nice and fun arcade game. There were some minor bugs but nothing insanely removing you out of the atmosphere. Good job!
Simple concept, but I liked how you could approach it from a couple different avenues. I had a lot of fun figuring out how to optimally play it and by the end of it (like 3 playthroughs) I think I figured out a way to win every time. Really fun entry and if you could add a Post Jam hard mode ping me and I'll be the first to play it.
A funny, self-contained and creative little experience. I'm a big fun of some of the small touches and can easily listen to the Crab ASMR for hours. There are some small gripes, I've had, like the Crab Wars cutscene being unskipable, but you could easily just click through the result screen if you weren't careful, but that's knit picky. The graphics and audio really tie it all together and it's so nice to see creative interpretations of the theme.
Very fun challenging game. I wish I had someone to play coop on it, so I'll have to get someone to remote onto my PC with me. But even alone it's more than playable and and extra challenge. Super creative concept :D
It's always impressive to me that people can make a game without an game engine from the ground up. And to do it alone is even more impressive. Super fun theme and gameplay, I'm going to spend some time trying to get to 8PM. :D
Love the sudden spike in difficult and the seamless transitions from the edges of the screen. The sound effect hit me out of nowhere in the most perfect way :D
@okamit oh damn, I knew coding this up in the last 5 minutes of the Jam was a mistake. Things like these always slip up right at the end. Thanks, good catch :D
Just packed with humor and great gameplay mechanics. By far the most difficult part was the rhythm game, lost probably half my time on that alone. I would honestly buy a fully fledged version of it, cause the whole package really works well. I've also come across the wall-phasing bug, seems to happen when I bite on ledge and shift forward in a very short time. inside.png Otherwise, no issues, amazing game :D
I've been at it for a while and still can't hit one. Super fun idea and a nice spin on an existing IP. Great work
Very nice spin on "Every 10 seconds". Had some issues and thought I didn't get the mechanics, but figured it out in the end. Need to play around a bit more, cause I think there might be a secret that I can find if I do some magic with the last couple of enemies :eyes:
Very fun spin on the theme and extremely moody. I'm gonna have to play around with it a bit more as I think I might have missed some routes, but super happy to spend some more time with this game
Super fun and challenging game! Made me nostalgic for old puzzle games I've played years ago

Impressive stuff! Super fun idea and nice to see all the themes I didn't have an idea for come back to haunt me
Fun entry with a nice mood for a basic platformer. Had some trouble with choppy physics interactions, but it was honestly minor bugs.
Hope to see more things from you!
Big fan of the game and hope the development keep going. A 3D especially is always super impressive in these and especially when it has a clear vision. I'm writing this review after playing the jam version so I hope to see improvements and some bugs fixed in the PostJam. :smirk:
Super nice concept, but I'm unsure what I'm supposed to be doing at times. On my second attempt I got the upgraded oven and I think at that point I could go on harvesting my "patients" forever. There were some small issues like the fork working 50% of the time, but I think I eventually got a rhythm that worked. I would like to see a PostJam version bc it's def one of the more fun interpretations of "Harvest"
Super fun idea and one of the best tutorial sections I've seen in an LD game. I really like the little touches making the game more chill (like putting new organs onto your decayed ones). I stopped at 2k earned, because I got pushes into the ground by one of the pedestrians, but other than that I didn't encounter any issues.
Super nice and chill game. Beat it start to end and I'm feeling like I could try and speedrun it too  I like the graphics the most they make it look so nice and like Overcooked and would work very well with a faster pace and more people
I have to say out of all the features I appreciate the restart button the most. I took a good 20 tries, but I finally got a little bit tipsy with the 20 beers. I'm not going to list out the issues, because I think fixing them would actually ruin the experience. I salute the creativity, great game :100:
I think I found a way to cheese it a little bit and make it a lot easier to score a high score

I could have kept it up for longer, but I think the high score should go to whoever does it the legit way. Thanks for this submission I enjoyed it a lot, especially the music. I really fit the gameplay and I wasn't distracting like a lot of these looping tracks are
Got a good sweat on trying to finish it, but managed (on third try). A very neat and challenging entry. Would appreciate a small indicator of when the chunks can be harvested, but of course not much time during a jam. Very nice entry
What a cool spin on the theme, I really liked this one. The ramp-up in difficulty for a Jam game was unexpected but I quickly caught on and [SPOILER COMING] that one level where you need to move everyone but that main guy was seriously inspired.
Amazing interpretation of the theme and the Eurobeat music just made the shredding better. I have to say the tractor should have stayed as the vehicle for all of the game because the crop harvester was definitely a downgrade. Overall great idea and I hope you find a way to make it even better with a clearer goal and more upgrade options.
I don't know how you managed to make it so well tuned. The tension there at the end when I almost ran out of oxygen. Amazingly orchestrated and it really added to the experience. Great job!
Just wow. How you managed to finish that with the minigames, scenarios and cutscenes, I have no idea. FMV games on LD never fail to disappoint. 10/10 no notes :100:
(well maybe a small one: it would have been cool to be able to scroll around the map to plan out things a little)
I really like these types of horde shooter entries. Amazing work making it so unique and fun with just a few pixels. Big shoutout for the audio work. Made the gun so punchy and gave great feedback.
Damn, great work. A game about finding a way out made me hate seeing hints, bc it means I found something new and could see/hear something scary and unexpected soon. Amazing job on the atmosphere and to be honest the somewhat clunky controls really added to the experience for me. I got confused and turned around many times
What a fun game! I really liked the aesthetic and wasn't expecting level ups and such an instance experience at the end. Big fan, I'll have to come back to it before the end of the P&R to try and get a high score.
How people manage to make such well rounded games in 72h always amazes me. I especially love the touch of the drawn intro cinematics. So far I've gotten up to 7/8 parts in a run, but I hope to improve. Amazing job
Such an awesome concept, the vibe this games gives off makes me want to see an entire party game with this artstyle like a Japanese game show. Amazing job :fish:
Damn, I really thought there would be a way to get to 30 days and get this square dude to Dubai. I liked it, but would like to see a post-jam version with some of the issues ironed out (for example the "nightmare" sequences took a very long time to work for me). Great effort
Very fun entry. I liked that you went minimalistic with the UI, it really added to the uneasiness of the game. Also a very nice touch with the *slightly* different shooting sound when hitting a spider. It added a really needed feedback for the dark hard to see corridor.
Holy! This games bamboozled me so many times. It took me an embarrassing amount of time to realize that I'm supposed to read the filenames before throwing them into the trash. And then on my best run I pressed "Logout" thinking it was another utility that might help me. Great idea. Great execution
