Hello, I see what game and book were your main source of inspirations :D
Firstly, I don't understand how the game relates to "harvest" theme, perhaps you've just made an independent project.
Secondly, the game lacks the feature that was in the "Papers, please" which shows you the mistake you've made because in most of the cases I do not understand where I was wrong, and that's why I am unable to progress further.
Lastly, the game lacks sounds. Even the simple notes and stamp sounds would make the experience much better.
Concluding, I see the potential: this game could really improve "skimming" reading and I like it, but there definitely has to be many improvements to be made. Overall, 3.5/5.
I have also linked the bugs down below (stamp just stucked when I clicked with it on the button, and the stopped timer)

Shoop da whoooop...
Well, the humour is 5/5, but I really lacked picking the carrots by just walking on them (would be great if they had particles). Moreover, the game can't be scaled up in the browser and you can't zoom in with the mouse.
Anyways, I liked it, it gives you a game experience, and that's already gives you a respect :)
3.5/5
Well, the game does what it states.
Great visuals, soothing OST, respect for the multiplier aspect. However, would be great to have some progression marks or leaderboard score like: completion of the map on some level of difficulty. This will give the player a simple goal to progress in the game.
I am quite confused with how this game correlates to a theme (0-0 )'
Overall, 4/5
You took the concept of a fairly simple game and gave it a twist - that's the essence of the game development.
I liked sound design, animations and art are wonderful.
The least thing I liked was the tutorial, it is in the main menu and more often player needs some in-game practice to understand what is happening. Despite that, for the 48 hours this is an excellent progress.
Overall, 5 points :)
Very relaxing, but I really was lacking off a mouse hold to gather resource and plant (could be included as an upgrade). Also very good life advice in the end :D

Hello, congrats for finishing the Compo jam. The graphics and sound are ok for me because they are translating the meaning of the game - nothing to discuss here.
I am concerned about the balance: I have reached 15 heads, but the meter is decreasing at higher speeds than I could increment it with available tools. I think, there should be another propaganda tool like TV that will work passively and raise the bar, so the difficulty spike will not be that high.
I also don't understand the theme and what the game is trying to state. Does the propaganda harvest people? Are politicians the devils?
Overall, 3.5/5 for me. Don't give up, try new thins and improve yourself.
Wowy, guys, that's some diamond in a rough. Did you make everything by yourselves? The graphics, audio and mechanics are wonderful.
Hehe, well, definitely 5/5, but my question: are you medical student? Well, but surely hell of an artist. There is nothing to blame here considering the 48 hours period.
I just died from the shock when the figure in shadows said to extract the bloody mitochondria. I thought, that I will have to use a nanomachine or something xD
@jackroxton, hello, oh, I didn't know this. On my machine I am waiting around 2-3 seconds until white screen will dissapear, do you hear any music?
@jackroxton, I have ran it on two Win10 x64 machines. It has long loading time upon launch, but it is playable at least for me. What is your platform?
@jackroxton, I will try fix it, but I need more feedback from other users, maybe it's really Win11 problem or just some bug in Godot.
I really appreciate you for pointing that out.
@sam-cousins, hehe, thank you :)
Was it hard for you? Did you understand what to do? I think, I messed up the balance, but I really want that every player will reach the end.
@jk5000, thank you, I had to really narrow down the gameplay to finish the game, but you're right, I will definitely work on the gameplay and visual clues in the future games.
@jyogeet, hehe, thank you very much :D
@xdefault, hello, thank you for taking your time to leave the feedback and play the game. It really matters for me.
Yeah, you're so right about the visual clues, I really have underdeveloped this part. I will pay more attention to this aspect in the future games.
@pojo79, hey, thanks for playing. I didn't specified it in the note, but the meat is actually exploding if you're too late to harvest it :p
Yeah, it is just one room \('-')/
@rjerez192, hello, thank you so much :)
Yeah, I agree with the point about the feedback, got it!
@kr4ft3r, hello, you're not sounding annoyed - you just gave the good feedback for me to improve.
I was really worried about the difficulty curve, but in the end, I've messed it up. Yeah, the gameplay is really lacking visual clues and sounds. However, please understand, I was adding the sounds and exporting the game in the last 30 minutes :/
Again, I am thankful for your detailed feedback and time :)
@witchgf, hi, thank you for your comment. Well, I didn't have time to properly make the visual clues and the death animation/screen, but what is killing you is actully exploding meat :)
It will grow for some time, and after that you will have some time to harvest it before it will explode.
But, I totally agree with you.
hey, @kymakesgames! I am so glad that my game amazed you in such a way, thank you, really, for your playtime :D
@hoichael, oh, mate, I am really thankful for your detailed feedback, I just can't describe how qualified is the comment you've wrote. I cannot add nothing more, I'll definitely polish the problems you stated in the future games. Your time will not be wasted away, even right now I am doing 3D modelling, math, and other things for game development.
Thank you!
@kikiriki367, oh my... Such a wonderful solutions you have provided, I am sure you're right about the balance, visual clues, instructions, and etc. But what about editing the game? I think, that only progress that I have done in 48 hours should be displayed to players because then I can see the mistakes that was present in my past games and improve in the future. But maybe I am just damn lazy to fix something I've already finished :l
Anyways, I am glad you have finished the game and left me the things that I can improve. I am really thankful for that!
Hello, Sean, I had a blast playing your game: the movement is like I am inside Quake 3 arena or something - that's really interesting mechanic to put in a horror-like game. The graphics are also beatiful.
However, sometimes it's really hard to tell when you need to use mallet or net because the are no visual clues on bugs.
I have reached the second level, but there were too much bugs to capture, so I have gave up. To push the gameplay even further I would have made the score for the "parkour" style movement or some weapon to catch bugs from further away. Then put some heights in your maps, give player a hook, and you will get some insanely fun experience.
Good job! 4/5
Hello, as for me, this is a 4.5 for a compo game - you have made so much art and level design as well as mechanics and audio in such a short period of time, that really amuses me.
However, sometimes you get stuck when you are moving, and also walking sideways makes you faster - try to normalise direction vector - it's a common problem for new gamedevs :)
Overall, great results!
Hello, yam lord, I liked that you have set up a few levels and I liked that player has a choice on what to focus: selling or killing. But, the selling is not worth it. For killing you are getting hp recoveries, score, and you're also decreasing amount of enemies. With selling you're just getting some points. Also, the movement is a bit clunky.
Lastly, I love your graphics and the Itch.io page. Good progress for 48 hours, keep it up, mate.
Overall, 4/5.
The graphics are beatiful, the gameplay is easy to pick up, but hard to master due to multitasking jobs, but I like that type of games because they are improving your thinking, it was actually pretty hard to keep in mind several things.
Nothing more to say, 5/5.

Hey, mate, good to see pico8 in this game jam. I don't know why, but I had really unsettling feeling when playing this game: the difficulty curve is quite high and there are no music. Almost felt like metroidvania, but your game definitily has some unique vibe to it. Good job, 4/5

Hello, firstly, I couldn't find the fullscreen option, so I have to use the inspector to launch the emdedded app.
Secondly, it takes very long time to sell products and the background screen is just some black square, it's not that exciting to go ahead and earn money, but rather frustrating to do so.
From the code perspective, The map with restricted cells to place on and other interesting stuff on it are great.
Overall, I would really consider reworking sell mechanic because it is one the main features of your game.
Don't give up, improve what you have.
