Not sure how to play this game, and the instructions seem a little incomplete
@sillyman987 I've added a how to play section if you would like to check it out again. I might also record a video later
Super nice and chill game. Beat it start to end and I'm feeling like I could try and speedrun it too  I like the graphics the most they make it look so nice and like Overcooked and would work very well with a faster pace and more people
Hey good job on finishing this game! A few notes:
* It was not intuitive how to get butter, salt, etc... a plant?? * It was hard to interact with the popcorn machine. Sometimes the "v" showed, sometimes not. So I gave up before being able to make the second one. * I dropped items behind the machine and I couldn't see them
Other than that, solid entry!
Very well made, could be a good full game with some more time put into it. As for what you could do on a shorter time frame, it might be more fun with customers coming in and leaving faster, and a second machine so everything isn't done in the same order and there is more of a management element.
Really good job on the art and movement. I love that salt, butter and caramel grow on plants! I think the game could be improved by adding time pressure to deliver orders to customers to create some (fun) panic.
Really nice art style, shame about no sound. Lovely controls and movement. Could do with a little more gameplay to make it interesting.
Butter plant is very funny. It could use some escalation, maybe more customers, more complex orders, or more popcorn machines as the game goes on.
Love the Overcooked reference. Perhaps I'm biased towards this game just because I like Overcooked. It was unmistakable what you were going for and I like that there's a twist to it. Surprisingly the basic mechanics are essentially the same if you think about it. Also something I'm wondering about is why there are audio options in the menu if there is no audio? Like they are nice audio options but..? Anyway nice submission, I love it.
@cole-and-jordan-studios We planned on including audio, but we ran out of time. The audio menu is just a left over that wasn't deleted
hey, the game has its value, but a little I have to note. Sound would have been very beneficial, so you at least notice when something is producing. This would also mean the white bar above the popcorn machine. Hardly noticeable and it took me a while to realize that something was being produced. Sound, the white bar and a system for points, so that one has a success are my biggest criteria. The idea is nice and fits super to the theme. Keep it up.
I found it not really intuitive at first but it's really easy once you get it, reminds me of BBQ Simulator and Overcooked really funny
Superb art style! Great models for all the plants and the character it all blends so well. game loop is simple yet effective it needs visual and audio feedback though.
This would have been a super chill game to play even a bit longer with a bit more instructions on how to play. The popcorn timer for example wasn't obvious enough for me to understand that I have to wait before the produce is ready to sell. A really nice framework to build upon! Just add some sounds and polish the UI and this will be a really nice one
I was very confused that there was audio settings but no audio though. Was it broken, or was there no audio? The game was neat though. I think there's some balancing that could have been adjusted though. You have 3x more corn fields than popcorn machines for example, but they go so much faster than the machine that it doesn't really matter. If they grew at half the speed of the popcorn machine, then it would be more fun to try to keep all the fields full. It took a bit of exploring, but I managed to figure it out fine. The controls were very responsive, and the "v" when something was interactable made it very clear what I was about to do, which I think is critical for a game like this. Finally, the graphics were really cute! You did a great job of making very clear visuals using a simple artstyle.
once I understood how the game played I really liked it. with some audio and high score or losing condition it would be a very solid jam game. Great job
