With no instructions (in either the game or the submission page) it's very complicated to understand what needs to be done...
I from what I understood you should be harvesting organs and selling them, right?
When I open the web and see the kidney I can't go back to the other screen to see the person I need to get the kidneys from. Clicking in the back arrow does nothing. Also when I hold "CTRL" the cops timer goes super fast and a cop just blinks in the middle of the screen and disappears.
I like the idea for the game and the design. I felt like the mechanic of cutting the body open with different tools was unique and unexpected. However the game is very buggy: I couldn't close out in-game browser after finding out what organ to harvest.
I think with some more refinement you could have a decent prototype for a more in-depth game.

@romeromey Yah, it is a mobile phone game prototype of sort ya can say. We still have a few things that was planned, but our programmer Nurf did not have time to do:
-8 tools were made, but only 3 ya can use as of now. The rest was supposed to be in the shop, but not added inn yet, hence some empty slots when ya are dissecting and collecting the organs
-Tasks, so one gains more money from harvesting specific organs.
-Probably a part of the webshop being dedicated to the butcher, so he can sell the organs there rather than instantly get the money.
-Random name generator for the patients/victims.
Some may be put inn during the jam like the tools, but most of them later after the jam. Depends on if Nurf wanna do the former during the jam.

@romeromey yeah, Nurf said the file was a bit messy and he needed a few hours to fix it. Duno when he will get to it though.
Sorry but I don't understand what I have to do exactly. I missed some instructions ^^U I can use the scissors and get to view the organ but then I don't know what I am supposed to do with it. Nice art though.
Really cute idea, not the first organ harvesting game I've seen this jam but definitely one of the more interest takes with the online shop and all. Unfortunately as someone mentioned already after going into the web I am incapable of going back to actually harvest the organ. A lot of stuff to be proud of but this definitely needs some more time in the oven.

AWW MAN! I seriously wish LD jam gave one more day- this game would have been awesome! First off, the art is amazing! The doggo is adorable and almost gave me a heart-attack when I clicked xD
Second, gameplay looks very polished despite not being complete! Even without the instructions, the mechanics were intuitive enough for me to complete my first order and burn the body- The cop meter is a unique mechanic that adds another dimension to the otherwise (relatively) straight-forward gameplay!
It makes me really sad that this has such few reviews- it really does deserve way more! For future reference, I recommend ***JummBox*** if you're short on time for music- it's free, open-source, and extremely easy to use in last-minute projects!
Awesome work! ^~^
@pazzi, I only now realized that the game version that was published was one of my test projects. when you mentioned music I thought you took a dig at the in game music lol, but lo and behold, I'm just an idiot 😅 I have corrected this now, thanks for your comment <3

Good job with the artwork and theme. Not sure how to upgrade the oven. Would like to see order request.
Nice looking game but a little too rough around the edges. Might be better to put some buttons for where to click, as it is very unclear how to start. I found myself clicking every part of the screen to get any response. Once you get there cutting in the body IS interesting, but of the 3 tools that are there I didn't get what the knife was about. The fork is funny though.

Cool concept, though fairly hard to understand how to play at first. With the orders page empty (aside from the $1500 thing at the bottom, was that the furnace upgrade?) it wasn't clear if I should actually try and harvest organs or not. Was able to use the scissors, but I didn't understand what the knife was for and using the fork was a bit finicky. One improvement could be to have more of a highlight for where you should click on mouseover or some kind of indication to help the player in the right direction. Would be cool to see this fleshed out (hehe) a bit more, nice work.

Super nice concept, but I'm unsure what I'm supposed to be doing at times. On my second attempt I got the upgraded oven and I think at that point I could go on harvesting my "patients" forever. There were some small issues like the fork working 50% of the time, but I think I eventually got a rhythm that worked. I would like to see a PostJam version bc it's def one of the more fun interpretations of "Harvest"
It really needs some instructions! It took me a long time to realize that when it said 'Open the web to get orders' it meant don't do that, click on the patient/victim text to go harvest organs. The way to find the patient is unclear and the tools are unintuitive (what is the point of the knife?). As far as I could tell, you just pull out organs and get money and the faster you do it the more money you get? Kind of a grinding style game? I have to say, I was really amused by the theme and the art. I just wish it were easier to understand how to play!

Can we play it online? [we become what we behold](https://webecomewhatwebehold.online) simple and free to play. Very nice
