It's not too short but looks like it was done in a way to allow for the most content while not using too much time, for what one can squeeze into a few days.

Short, but adorable and the music was great. It fit the theme nicely and was creative the idea itself, the different outcomes and how one gets prompts of how to do different things for the next run as well. Nothing I really disliked or got to criticize. But the slime and how it moved was really cute and I really really liked the art. The Hero's sprite was cool, looked a bit like Cloud. Liked the extra detail with feedback if one tries to interact with the bed.
It was generally fun and creative.
Only thing that would be nice to have or felt like was maybe missing, that I can agree with one og the others above is that it would be nice to have a score or point system of some sort.
But regardless of that, the gameplay is solid and personally I really liked the graphics in it's entirety and the penguin was cute and quirky. A very charming game ๐

Fun and cute minigame. While the gameplay is simple I find it was a + in this games case and made the replay value for me higher at least. And as the above comment says, it gives of a classic formula that gets to one c:

@romeromey Yah, it is a mobile phone game prototype of sort ya can say. We still have a few things that was planned, but our programmer Nurf did not have time to do:
-8 tools were made, but only 3 ya can use as of now. The rest was supposed to be in the shop, but not added inn yet, hence some empty slots when ya are dissecting and collecting the organs
-Tasks, so one gains more money from harvesting specific organs.
-Probably a part of the webshop being dedicated to the butcher, so he can sell the organs there rather than instantly get the money.
-Random name generator for the patients/victims.
Some may be put inn during the jam like the tools, but most of them later after the jam. Depends on if Nurf wanna do the former during the jam.
@romeromey yeah, Nurf said the file was a bit messy and he needed a few hours to fix it. Duno when he will get to it though.
Gameplay was sorta eeh, did not get much feel of an accomplishment.

On the otherhand it was very visually striking and chill.
It is very very visually striking and the music gave a nice vibe, but had a bit of a hard time catching the fish.
I feel that the notes does not fit with rhythm of the music with some tracks, while the second one did. It needs some fine tuning with the timing of the beats and possibly a harder difficulty level as well, for it to feel like the flow is there.
But the idea is creative and the game is quite visually striking.
The theme did not fit exactly, it could have been something as simple as a slash sound and animation of the cropp dissapearing at certain intervals to make it like they were harvesting it at the end of a stage or song, if not batches in intervals, or each note could have harvested one wheat strand etc, so ya had a whole batch by the end, example.
Nice graphics and an overall fun little, charming game.

Could not go underground and was unable to get to the police station for several reasons. Like the elevator not working and character could not jump high enough to the third floor. Duno if the station was there?

It has good art, music was decent as well as gameplay.
But too easy with PC screens that has touch screens which I doubt most players have so no biggie. That made it boring fast, but then the game ended fast ๐ Which is to expect.
But pretty so solid entry regardless.

On the other hand I liked the bgm track and the art. The chara one plays as is cute.
There is a lot going on, very high consept and a nice vibe. Astonishing how ya managed all that in such a short time.

It would be nice to have a flashing light, or healthbar over the enemy that appears and decreases. Something to indicate damage, cause the sfx does not tell if one is actually inflicting damage.
A bit tricy to figure out the controls in the beginning so instructions would be nice to have.
But the game itself is nice and a solid entry ๐
Was really creative that ya used rhythm ganeplay for the harvesting theme.
Nitpicking, but there was a really hard difficuly spike after level 3, so could not get the ending sadly. In rhythm games I usually tend to tap after the bgm. It had rhythm, but it did not exactly go after the bgm, would have been nice if it did. It was not a big problem.
Really cute art, the music and the vibe is nice, but the movements are a bit janky and wobbly.
Too bad it did not have more content, would have been nice to spend more time with the old man.

I liked it, the atmosphere is nice and it was very charming, and mesmerizing ending. The hallucinogenic rainbow effect was nice. I liked how it was visually was keept simple including the color palette, cause it did not feel like the different aspects where fighting for my attention, but playing together as one. Less is more as they say.
More or longer would have been better sure like a bit more to the endings or during the middle of the game (cause I enjoyed it and wanted to continue), but it got a lot to it already and one can only do so much with so little time. It is really good for your first one to be honest. Great Work! Looking forward to see what you make in the future or next time. :smile:

Graphics seemed nice and especially the interior of the spaceship and the simple animation that appers when ya lunch the mission is pretty cool. Sadly but was unable to figure out what I was supposed to do even when I played 2 of the missions that was said to work. Got like a few pacages in cargo mode, but was hard to move around and mercenary mode was confusing. WASD worked to move around, but otherwise I duno what I was supposed to do once I got to the missions itself even after messing around a bit with options, keypad and mouse. I guess it is missing a bit and rough around the edges cause it is unfinished. Would be nice to add to the description how to play it, controls etc. and or a tutorial section in game. It was a great game, with an unique take on the theme. I pretty much enjoyed every moment of it and was suppried by the amount of detail with both art, being able to examine stuff, music etc., reminds me of Ace Attorney format, but more serious and making me think over ethics while I wonder which one was rifht or perhaps both in alternative universes, like an open end or Schrรถdinger's cat. I'm not the biggest fan of driving/car games that much personally, but the game seemed quite smooth regardless. I would like to see more of this one if ever to expand. It was really fun and the art was charming and funny faces, lol. The overall bgm was chill, laxing and nice, but I personally liked the ones for the endings and more so the later one for the garl, but would have been cool if it switched to something else when he was ran over. It could have had more interactive gameplay elements or more characters to create more runs if ever to expand. For the jam iself props for adding more than 1 chara. And as one of the comments above said a skip or fast forward button or option would have been convinient to have.
I enjoyed watching the animation and cut scenes of what truck-kun was doing meanwhile. The dude really looked like he hated his job and wanted to smack his face with his bag, feel bad for him cause dude looked miserable and lol what happend at work in one sceene. Feels like cars, but with a more questionable (run over people to send them to another world), but fun job, lol. Appreciated the small variations depending on which time of day ya combined for the first dude and 2 distinct quite different charas.
I had an issue with the girls run where the screen just went all black for no apparent reason (This happend when Afternoon or Evening was choosen and was able to recreate the issue the same way), but choosing all other options worked. And another minor bug that appears when ya finish the fist dude and go over to the girls. It shows that ya got 2 influences unless ya clear it it goes back to normal, 1. Otherwise if ya run with that, the events seems to work normally, and same hapepens with the other dude.(Enjoyed it and wanted too see all the small differeres, so replayed several times.) Spoiler so will be brief and vague, but what happend with her and truck-kun took be by suprise and made me laugh a bit with the second thingy that happend and liked the reference in the ending, nice world before a lot goes down. But I thought to myself from reading her bio, "she does not have a job and would probably wake up late if she could, no way she is gonna be awake at morning and out and about. It has to at least be noon or after.", but you are supposed to influence their day, so it is not so much an valid idea. Great entry.! C:

Driving was very difficult with the wasd keys, seems like it is better suited for a controler and it was hard to work with the time along with that.

Had some issues with the sound and could not hear anything at first and though it should be there cause ya did not opt of that one, but messed a bit with my sound volume and was able to hear the music eventually even when I set it back to default even when I exited and went back into the game. Duno what was up with that.
As for the game, the gameplay could have had more going for it. On the second run I got stuck at a part with a tree, even when I went back and forth and tried to jump over it from different distances I was unable to proceed. One of the most fun games I played this jam. I liked some of the animations it had going once ya went trough the portal. It was really nice both art, music and vibe wise and everything blended well together. *Blergh* sheep throwing up sfx (or so it sounded like to me, lol)

Survived 1min 59 sec on the third try. Was easier once I figured out how I could dubble jump to get on the pillars. Fun game and it got some good art and loved the music that is easy to vibe too and brings the entire vibe of the game up. GG C:
