I like the concept of the game. The graphics and audio were also well done. Some constructive criticism would be to have the difficulty (how fast the patients die) start off as easier since it took me a bit to get the hang of it. Also there was a lot of waiting around for a certain organ that no new patient had. Overall good job!

Thanks for playing and for your feedback ! A lot of work could be done to improve the pacing of the game, and the random system I tried to implement. I hope I can make it more energetic in a future update. And so far, there is absolutely no difficulty progression, so I fully agree with you. Again thanks for your feedbacks !
I really love the concept, and I thought adding details about the person's occupation and other life details was a good touch.
I wasn't quite sure what to do at first, I think there can be a better indication about which bodies are dead and alive at the start. I also think it'd be nice to have some kind of score or other indication of progress -- I didn't really know when to stop.
Nice job esp as a solo dev!

The visuals and audio were great, and it was really unnerving in the best way.
This was a very creative take on the theme "harvest", properly terrifying too (buh you didn't need to include bios of people but you did anyway, made me almost feel bad for sacrificing them (nice work)).
Nice work on this entry, and good luck in judging!
Woah, the atmosphere of the game is so consistently unnerving, i love it :D I get vibes similar to the first fallout, although gameplay here is much more dynamic, really engaging. Wish that there was some goal to pursue - after a while, altough very entertained, i was confused whether i was playing the game right. Great job, also the how to play menu is so relatable :)
The game concept is very interesting, especially the description of the patient's identity. One can imagine that on top of this, with more time, there is an opportunity to publish it as a commercial game with a talking point。
+Interesting concept and details + Immersive background sound and sound effects
Suggstion : A volume setting could save someone's life.

If you have one person missing a heart and another missing everything BUT a heart, who would you harvest to save the other?
The SFX were great for ambience, I especially liked how each organ made its own sound when picked.
It did sound a bit like the patients were cussing me (so ungrateful! (:)
Good job on the graphics as well, your anatomy skills are sharp.

I love the look and feel of the game. The sounds perfectly match the visuals. The concept is great and I'd love to see a more completed version. I did bump into a few bugs you mention but my unethical approach to being a surgeon deserved them  Awesome job!

Nicely done! I gave this 5 stars for theme, graphics, audio, and mood! Really creepy and atmospheric, especially when the music fades and you just have the heartbeat monitor pinging in the background. I like this concept for the Harvest theme and it's definitely a good challenge to keep as many people alive as possible. Btw I love this bit in the description: "but between the fast decrepitude and the bugs i didn’t fixed, it’s not gonna be easy." Great job on your LD52 game!

@scidev I was first thinking of doing a game where you need to chose which patient to save. That was the idea behind de bio. But one thing lead to another and I had to chose between a more arcade game at the end. But I still let the bio. Glad you like it and thanks for your time and feedbacks !

@sheng-mai Thanks for your time and feedback. I definitely should put some options with more time. I'll do it in the future !

@ofiro thanks a lot  My french accent was the problem there -_- all the patients are just saying "thank you" "thank you doctor". While playing the game after i posted it. I heard the cussing too :face_palm: I'll change that in the future ahah

@chompdev Thank you for the feedback. There is a lot a bugs I need to fix before changing that description ahah. I'm glad you liked it. I did go all in for the mood so that means a lot !

Nice pixel art and sound effects. Played a lot longer than I anticipated it was fun to mix and match :) I did run into a few bugs which you probably know, but just for your reference:
- The known bug of being unable to place organs to the table and in my case also to the person - Could place multiple stomachs on the table at once - Game kept running even though I killed many haha - I don't know if this is a bug but the timer gets reset by removing an organ so it's easy to cheese it
Really love the art, design and concept, really good job. Very intense tone. I think the randomization is great for different possibilites, but some playthroughs there was no one with a certain organ so I just lost lol. I think adding some logic that makes it so there will at least be one of each organ would improve the game.

I liked the graphics and the overall vibe the game gave. I didnt quite get the objective, was I supposed to take the organs of patients and put them into the others?

@fluri Thanks for the feedbacks and the list ! I also find the timer reset easy to cheese, i need to find a better way to implement it in the future.

@kettelcorn Thank for your time and suggestion. Yes I have multiple ideas that could help with this problem. I got stuck a lot of time too !

@beats I struggled all the jam between making a choice game or arcade game. Obviously I end up with a bad mix of the two. I think that's why the objective is not clear enough. I'll try to put real progression and objectives in a future patch. Thanks for your time playing and feedbacks !

@hmrpf Nice concept! Art is cool! Patients are dying too fast in my opinion.
I like the concept of the game and the pixelart. Like others have said, the game is rather difficult considering how fast the organs and the patients die.
Overall: Decent, but difficult game.

That's quite a grim take on the theme, but it's definitely unique! I found at first I couldn't put the right organs back in people because there were dead organs behind them, but once I noticed I could put them into the trash in the bottom right it was fine again. Later in the game I wasn't actually able to get a gameover anymore to see how many I'd saved.

@maytch I actually forgot to reset the dead count on restart :face_palm: I hope to add a little tutorial in the future and a better progression system so it's not so confusing at first :) Thanks for your time and feedbacks !

Unfortunately most of the time there was only one patient at a time, others didn't spawn much and we lost so many. The decay speed being so fast didn't help either. 😅 Overall atmosphere and graphics are consistent, nice and fitting to the concept. It is a neat concept, had fun; unexpectedly especially on "How to play" screen.

@hulya after cleaning all the mess in my code, the first thing I want to do is working on this spawning/randomness system to make it more viable. Sadly after that, I'll probably change the how to play screen too :D Thanks for your time and feedbacks !

I like that you had quite a different approach on harvesting. Some games I started had just people missing the same thing, so it was unwinable (if I didnt miss anything). Would also be cool if you sometimes had organ donors :) Overall, a great game imho!
it was super intense, i died.. graphics is so good!!

@dorzhieva-yana Thank you :pray:
@substain Thanks for your feedback and your time ! Yeah the random system is actually too random so you can get really unlucky. I need to twist that. There should be a way to get organs from another place that the bodies you have I agree. I thought so far of organ donors, or maybe after some level if there is a progression unlock a machine that heals organs I don't know yet. But i'm aware of the problem :D Again thanks !
concept is really different! Tricky to get the hang of but very interesting overall!

It got a bit buggy after a while with putting all the organs on the table and very very hard with such a fast timer.
It would also have been nice with clearer instructions.
It looked visually nice.
Good job, this can turn out to be a good game I think with fixing up some bugs here and there and fine tuning the gameplay. C:
Great job on submitting, I can see you did a lot, especially working alone.
Loved the `Sorry... I didn't have time for this screen` made me laugth
Some thoughts/suggestions regarding the game. Keeping in mind, that this is a perfect scenario suggestions, and/or possibly short fixes that would (imho) improve the gameplay experience. Sorry, if somebody else already mentioned it, wanted to write my thoughts first, then read others  1. I think the first problem you have if having patients truly random. I had a row of patients (5+) that were only missing kidney. And then 6+ patients in a row that were missing a heart. Some with better variation, and then again 4+ in a row with missing only kidney. That kind of got depressing, as you cannot really do anything about the situation only wait for the new body. - I think it would be better to have the sequence manually predefined (at least for the jam), so you can fine-tune the order each organ shows up. - More complex solution would be use some kind of fake-random generator. For example have rules, that not 2-3 patients in row can have same missing organ. Or if player didn't put any organ in for some time, generate body with missing organ the player has in stash. 2. The removed part decays rather quickly (it seems about the same time it takes normal patient to die). So unless, you get two-three patients at the same time or in a perfect combination, it's really hard to save any of them even then. I suggest possible solutions or combination of them: - I would suggest making organ table actually a freezer, so they don't decay. - Then to introduce some challenge back - require ~3 second de-freezing before putting it back to the patient. Maybe also apply some medicine, so it gets accepted better. - Make the slots stackable, so you can prepare "in case of emergency". - Allow organs to be purchased for a price also (and maybe even sold). Then of course you need to generate money, so maybe, treated patients could leave you some "gifts". Or sometimes even relatives could leave gifts in advance. The size of the "gift" could depend on their profession, their marital status. 3. The balance between decay and and number of patients. I would suggest increasing decay time as well as number of patients at the same time. And maybe even make a queue of new patients, in case you are taking too long. That way there is higher change to get right combination of organ parts, and not jsut wait untill they all die. - Additionally you could introduce some (expensive?) medicaments, that extend they decay time, so you have more time to treat them, but it could be more expensive. Especially worth doing if combined with above noted points. 4. Some kind of story / day-to-day payment, story choices would be nice, but I guess this is definitelly out of gamejam scope
Oh, and after few times I could put heart on the table anymore, I think some other collider might be blocking it?
Overall, I see some interesting gameplay potential. And you did well and a lot working on this alone. Looking forward to post-jam updates and next LudumDate entry
