I loved the concept and how you used the "summoning" theme. I feel like I have to rotate my shoulders now. xD

Interesting concept, pretty funny game!
It is a very unusual and atmospheric game, the visual is quite interesting, it looks stylish and restrained! Good luck with your project, I would have played it more than once!!!
I wish I can play it :')
@usenrame Have you tried the webplayer directions? You should be able to play it on a regular browser by creating an account on PlayDate and accessing the Pulp dev tools.
your is very atmospheric
pretty interesting game, love that it had a lot of ending, it helps with replayability.
The gameplay mechanics in this game are so intuitive! It's like the controls become an extension of your own instincts. Plus, the art style adds a unique flair that keeps you engaged throughout. Definitely a gem worth exploring!
Loved it! The resulting carnage.... hilarious!
A very funny game, and interesting mechanics.
This was really fun to play! I'm definitely leaning towards trying to do something for the playdate next jam! Have you done stuff for playdate before? Any major difficulties getting started?
@hamsel First time and I started learning it Saturday during the event. I used Pulp instead of just the raw SDK because I figured a scriptable engine would be easier to learn on short notice, but there are things about it that are so limited, basic programming goes back to being complicated. Might do a writeup and I'll make sure to send it to you if I do!
Thanks for submitting your game to the stream! If you wanted to watch it again in the future heres the vod of the stream (with a chapter for your game)

My shoulder hurts
^^
Congrats for your entry, I enjoyed my time playing it, it's a fun experience exploring for the various endings ;) I played through the web player, and it got me more curious about the PlayDate ^^
Thanks for your game :)
This game is very simple but enjoyable. Getting to play it was a little annoying but the crank did add to the gameplay. The art all worked well together.
Played on my playdate! Simple yet cool game! Good job.
almosty a perfect entry! it was really hard to know where to go at first ( there are no markings to tell you where you can go) but i eventually figured it out, very cool little game which made me wish i had a playdate, great job!
Great fun concept, and funny too! Rabbits in the pipes! haha!
I really enjoyed the super minimal aesthetic too. All round, Great Work!
This is pretty funny! The deadpan quips between the characters got a laugh out of me. I love that the gf's mom would rather she associate with a wizard than a freelancer! >D< I didn't manage to get all the endings, and sometimes I got confused bc I'm not sure how time passes in the game, sometimes I'd be in the middle of exploring a room and the game would just end, like in the forest or in the middle of the party. But even then, I also managed to get some endings I wasn't expecting, like dying on the start screen, not showing up to the party, and the demon appearing after I die. Fun little thing! Thank you for making this.
@fupi Fantastic question! :D
Two ways time passes: - Time moves from morning to afternoon if you either talk to the grocer or enter the forest. - Several of the endings are triggered by an event several seconds earlier, but then I give the player a bit of time to take in what's happened or change the ending before giving them the ending and kicking them to the title screen. For example, you can enter the forest and the forest ending countdown starts, but if you leave the forest fast enough, it is cancelled and you can get a different ending. That one's the longest one at 10 seconds because I really wanted it to feel like the player was choosing to skip out on the gameplay and chill in the forest just like the character.
How many endings did you find? I made a video walkthrough if you are curious about the ones you missed.

@monika I found the Dying on title screen, Being normal, Demon enjoyed party, People noticed rabbits, and Skipped out on party endings. I couldn't find out how to "be weird" at the party even though i really wanted to lol. Everyone seemed to be okay with you complaining about your shoulder non stop. I played this over my lunch break so couldn't be as thorough as I wished x)
@fupi People noticing the rabbits is the main being-weird-at-the-party ending, as it makes your roommate decide to move out. He's really just concerned about you impressing his girlfriend's parents, and you get to keep trying those conversations until you get them, though if you are moving around, you are also building up either rabbits or pain.
This was a really charming and well written entry, being someone who doesn't really know anything about programming and loading files and whatnot, this was well worth the effort I made to get it goin'. The Playdate platform was unknown to me before this and is super cool! Thanks for an extremely unique entry :)
Oh no -- *I* am a wizard and *my* shoulder hurts!! Alas, I wish I had a Playdate to play this on, but that's not the case (yet), and so the web player had to do. Thanks for the detailed steps for that. You've made a wonderful submission that's really appealing despite (and thanks to) the limitations! Really solid presentation and fun writing. I adore this and really hope to play this on actual hardware one day!
It reminded me of the time when I played Atari. Everything was simpler and the fun was certain. How we were so happy with very few resources. A truly unique game on a new platform. It made me want to program something for this.
Congratulations for the game. I didn't find all the endings, but it's saved here for future games.
Good game, quite fun to play
Nice little game with a good mood and humour, I liked it a lot! Played it on a playdate and yeah, crank is too sensitive, rabbits everywhere! Got 5/9 endings at the moment.
Interesting game, well done!
Interesting concept. The pixel art was cute, retro, but very charming. Simple, but has it's charm. Good job! C:
Thanks for making this beautiful game with interesting story and multiple endings!
You definitely got my curiosity with Playdate as I've never heard of it before. I'd definitely buy one if those weren't so expensive where I am ($400 so double of original price), but maybe one day. I don't feel like browser emulator does it justice.
Great job! And thank you for bringing this treasure to the stream!
