A very unusual game. I like it! Good luck!
This is so cool! The aspect ratio is so unique and clever.. The elevator music also is, exactly as it should! Although I understand it is likely the atmosphere of the game, I do wonder if adding a little more control for the player in some way/in some mechanic could make it a bit more enjoyable. Overall though, I love this!
First one I've put all 5s. It is terribly good, the humor, graphics, songs, etc. GG dude, GG.
Very interesting visual novel esq game. The polish is off the charts and the mood is really great. I just wish there was a way to save or fast forwards so that I could try the other endings without sitting through the whole intro.
Guessed the twist right away, but the writing was still pretty fun. Good job!
wow i really really enjoyed this.... super clever! also new elevator waifu??
The story twist was a bit predictable however the mood of it is really, nice, the music is comfy and the elevator girl is really cute too. A very pleasant elevator ride overall!
However it would be nice to have a skip/fast-forward option to explore all the endings more easily.
Cool game, can confirm, new elevator waifu.
Lovely game, everything in here is executed really good. There is nothing bad that's noticable enough for me. Awesome game and lovely work :)
Very nice approach of the theme, and the elevator girl is funny as hell. I managed to get endings 1, 3 and 8, and I'll probably do some other runs later to see some of the others endings, even if it would be great to have a fast forwards to try to get all of those in a more comfy way. Great approach of the elevator's music too, this one is great.
Overall it was really enjoyable, great work :D
Finally a game to which I can apply the "innovation" category - that game feels unique and the most frequent thought in my brain was "that's smart". Loved it!
Very cute little interactive story. I got ending "8" my first time; so it is a nice surprise to know there are different endings. I would suggest a way to speed up text or something for those that want to go through and find them all. This might be specific to me but the game's height formatted so that it the third option was always off-screen or just off-screen; I think a game like this wouldn't hurt in a web-browser format, or at least have a way to resize the game or fit it to screens.
Good job in such a short time.
I got endings 3 and 8. Neat game! I love the visuals, the music fits perfectly, the writing/narative is interesting. Great work!
Beautiful graphics and I really liked the music that went along with it.
It's not too short but looks like it was done in a way to allow for the most content while not using too much time, for what one can squeeze into a few days.
I love it! Despite being the first time it's pretty much a perfect game jam type of game entry in my opinion with how little time one has.
Awesome work! 🤩
And I agree with some of the comments above. New elevator Waifu, lol.
Amazing game! The best graphics and original music I've seen so far in the jam, and I doubt it will be topped, especially the music. Really like your storytelling too! The longer I played, the more signs I see of the big twist coming, but that didn't diminish the payoff of the big twist in any way, and in subsequent playthroughs, I could see even more signs of the big twist. You handled it perfectly! Awesome work!
Unexpectedly a fun story game with lots of good humor and chill atmosphere, 11/10 for the elevator girl
Ok, first of all, the mood/atmosphere of this entry is so good. The writing was really enjoyable, the first visited floor really set up the creepy, absurd mood from the get-go. The vibes reminded me of Persona games a little?
I got to ending 2 (that got dark fast!) and on the second run I really wanted to get the -445 floor ending, but at the same time I wanted to see what happens next, so I continued to ending 8 instead.
I would love to replay it to see all content, but since there is no "skip" or "save/load" option, it takes a very, very long time to revisit. If you expand it post-jam, this would really help! :)
Really good game! The graphics are spectacular - the elevator girl model is better than a lot of anime models I've seen in games, and the elevator design is good too! The music is also really good, and I like how you stop it for drama and change it up a bit for different moods. The story was also really good - I loved the plot twist ending. I'm not going to lie, it surprised me. I think the main issue I had with it in terms of gameplay was that, while for some things my choices made a difference in the story, most of my decisions didn't do anything, which kind of took away from my sense of control and immersion. And like everyone said, it got difficult to want to try for more endings when I have to go through everything over and over again to get to an ending that might not even be new. Granted I actually did put a lot of time into trying to find different endings, but I feel like there still might be more I'm missing that I just don't feel like trying to get. The only other issue I had was that the game window was a bit large - I had to do some maneuvering of my screen set up to get the whole game in view. Other than those things though I really liked this game. It was overall really good! Well done!
Nice game! I like the mood overall, and the first floor really helps do settle the "revelation" of the last floor. Was expecting it to go full Dante with 9 stops and order, but then it would be harder to pull the 69 joke as effective xD I would like a little faster pace just because, right now, I'm not really up to replay to try all the other possible endings, but still pretty enjoyable in a first run.
Nice. A good amount of, ahem, food for thought here. Do keep in mind that not everybody has taller monitors -- I do, but the most common desktop resolution is 1366x768 for example.
Is it weird that in my headcanon the girl keeps rocking side to side because she really needs to pee? .....
I was interested to play that game because it seemed to share some similarities with my game: an elevator going down and lots of dialogues. In the end they're very different but it was a pleasant surprise!
I loved the graphics, in particular the elevator girl looks really nice! The music is also great. Overall the mood was fantastic. The dialogues were fun and good enough to keep me interested until the end. Good job!
Fantastic game! Criminally underrated! Hope you guys end up with a good grade at the end :)
