LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Soaring Under by jitspoe 2021-04-27T18:03:22Z

The controls take time to get used to, but after getting them down it makes for a really nice experience and even just trying to learn how to control yourself is fun! Quite relaxing as well, especially with that music.

Deep Dive Drive 2000 by Dane Tesla 2021-04-27T17:44:26Z

A very enjoyable and aesthetic roadtrip, the radios are really great and the random words make for nice and quite funny combinations! The game could benefit a lot from a more random pool of words in fact, to make the combinations even more random. The only criticisms I have is the door frame obscures some of the tutorial text and the fact that sometimes the time between interactions is too long and you just sit there, I would add one more interaction in between to balance it out.

Overall, 10/10 would plug in cat into uncle's car while listening to beats from Pierdziawa FM again

The Elevator by Redamz 2021-04-27T15:28:28Z

The story twist was a bit predictable however the mood of it is really, nice, the music is comfy and the elevator girl is really cute too. A very pleasant elevator ride overall!

However it would be nice to have a skip/fast-forward option to explore all the endings more easily.

The Turgenev Study by benjamin 2022-10-05T11:25:49Z

Wow, this is an absolutely incredible entry.

Not even sure when to start, the visuals and music are really nice, simple and clean with everything being clearly readable. Everything has that nice and smooth flow to it too making it really pleasant to look at. It's both an relaxing and intensely challenging experience especially on later stages.

Everything has a purpose here and the risk/reward factor of not only trying to get as many cells as possible but also choosing the right one for current situation makes the game incredibly engaging.

The only minus is something that others mentioned beforehand, it can get a little bit overwhelming on later stages due to sheer amount of things on screen so either reducing the amount of cells present at once or having some way to at least partially clear the screen would be great.

Overall an incredible, well polished game that I can't get enough of and I most likely will find myself playing it from time to time long after the Jam will be over. Amazing Work!

Assault on Hartblood Hotel by kiririn51 2022-10-04T14:31:18Z

Absolutely loved this. The mood is really in there and the overall style of the game keeps that mood up as well. Dialogues are rather well executed and the music is absolutely on point. I would really love to see this become a bigger game.

Though, some of the curses can get annoying when you get dealt a bad hand, regenerating enemies and silence/disarm on your party members makes the battles drag on for way too long and if not for the fact that I was hooked on the game in it's entirety, the lenght of the battles would get boring after a while.

Automatos by Mikushi 2022-10-06T16:31:53Z

A nice game well utilizing the concept! I really like that by having a timed reload you need to make your every shot count, really like the character sprites!

The game could benefit from being more zoomed in or some resolution change though, and some kind of flooring would make it pop out more as well, the grey can get a bit hard to look at for longer periods of time.

But it is overall really nice and fun!

Gravety by Ianuarius 2022-10-05T09:49:17Z

The concept is great and the music is awesome but there are some big issues, hopping between planets would be really neat if either the travel time between them would be much shorter or it would be instant, as I often found myself to be sent to a different one before even reaching my destination or sent to a planet I already was on making me unable to move and clip in it.

Paired with that there was an issue where some planets just... disappeared randomply, not allowing me to finish the game in all my attempts.

Would really love to see this game get bit more polished and maybe with some additional content though!

10 Doujins per Second by steinuil 2022-10-04T13:36:54Z

A really nice concept, selling doujins under pressure and figuring out who wants what is pretty fun!

However with some of the clients it is bit harder to tell what they actually want and I imagine someone less knowledgeable with the references could have a harder time too, some time to look over your goods and read their descriptions before going to sell them would help a lot.

Also putting in the G36 Fumo is based. Best Gun.

Area 51 by Bdiaztobarra 2022-10-05T10:05:46Z

I love the execution of the concept here, the rush between computers to hack them while under fire was great, quite enjoyed the music too, graphics are nice and clean too. Overall, a great short game!

I'd only add one thing, an indication which computer was already hacked, so the player would know where they have already been.

(There were also a few collission issues on level 3 but they were rather minor)
