I love the graphics, good job!
Interesting art style and story with easy to use driving experience. This reminds me of the time when I played 2D GTA.
Great job on the graphics - The character art is all extremely well done, and has a lot of, for lack of a better word, character to it!
Great artwork, creative UI. I couldn't deliver the pizzas once I got to the door. Maybe I had the wrong order?
Great visual palette, and fun character designs! The map was a little tough to navigate at first--I got lost trying to find my way back to the pizzeria all the time. Still, the gameplay loop was enjoyable and the game drips with personality. Nicely done!
I love the graphics and mood of this game (and the little devil that invites me in to tip me) haha Nice game :)
Really nice art, and simple intuitive gameplay. Background music would add a lot, but overall pretty good!
At first I struggled to find anything since the indicator only shows a distance but as I learned the street names it became a lot easier. It might have been good to have readable street signs or a map to make learning them a bit easier.
Loved the artstyle. Really wished there was a marker/beacon for the pickup spot, was kind hard for me to find my way back to pickup new deliveries.
Getting endlessly lost in the suburbs while making minimum wage. Hell, truly. The art and characters immediately grabbed me and dragged me right down into a hole shaped like your itch profile, inspiring.
Good art style. The driving experience was good. It did take some time for me to start realizing what I needed to do at the beginning. But overall, great job!
Amazing job on this game. Adored all the character art and the limited color palette gave me Earthbound vibes. The controls were super intuitive and driving the bike felt great. I love that you go slower on off road. The camera moved super smoothly to points of interest. Dialog was super charming and funny. The vibe of this game was on point. I got the heaven ending. I don't know if there was another ending if you don't go with Dylan. If you expand on the game I would love if you added music. It would be nice if you had health because the enemies and obstacles aren't really threatening with out it. A sense of level difficultly scaling as you progressed would be great. But those are all nice to haves. This was super well polished for a jam game. Who knew hell could be so cozy. I would totally play a full game version of this. Superb job!
Very neat game! The game-play was lovely and intuitive, I loved the graphics of, complimented the game-play a lot. Some little more bg sound would be nice, some ambience & music. Besides that markers back to the spot would be nice, but it's fine like this too, need to rely on the memory then. Splendid little game overall!
Very good game, lmao. Good humor, simple-yet-enjoyable gameplay. The locations of delivery houses only being shown via distance and not direction is very neat, I like how it forces you to sort of triangulate the position of the house
The graphics and sounds were great. The screech from the sharp turns! However I couldn't work out how to actually deliver anything. :|
This drips with character but I had the same trouble as ruruie, the delivery is either unintuitive or buggy. But the art and sound design are top-notch.
there was a weird glitch on the second day on my first playthrough where no new orders would appear. Besides that though this was a very fun game i especially liked the dialogue.
Awesome graphics, what was your inspiration? It reminds me of Monster High but also some other thing that I don't remember. Sound effects were cool too, especially 180 turn on the motorbike. After a while I got lost and couldn't find my way back to the pizza place, lol.
I loved the idea so much. The art style was brilliant. Also, "God sent me to Hell for shoplifting and being bisexual." I felt that in my SOUL. I loved the street names. Your game theme was absolutely my style, I feel like I could have made this game. The only thing I struggled with was finding the restaurant again to make more deliveries, I have a really poor sense of direction and I would have liked a marker or something to find the restaurant easier to pick up more orders. The driving mechanics were easy to pick up and the controls were intuitive. The humour was great, too! Really fun game!
This was amazing! I loved everything about it. Good work!
Neat art style! You managed to create a really great vibe with the gameplay, dialogue, and quest system
Very nice. Visuals are awesome. The physics are low key great. The scooter feels really fun to drive around. A few QOL elements would really help me, a mini-map would do wonders. I can deliver well enough with the hot/cold indicator, but returning to the restaurant, I get lost (maybe just post a map of the town in the game description?). It also took me a few restarts to understand what to do, might just be a me problem lol.
Anyway, great job! Congrats!
super fun stuff! loved the characters and the driving! Pretty rare to get people to actually sit through and read dialogue during a game jam but this was pretty engaging! Liked the details also, like the camera zooming in to passing buildings to help with navigation. The controls were smooth played it all the way to the end!
I loved this! Graphics are a huge highlight, the character design is awesome. I really like the gameplay too, I just had a little difficulty getting used to the control scheme for dropping off deliveries. Great job overall!
Great artstyle and mood and very fun to scoot around! Loved the little dialoge cutscenes. Navigation wasn't easy at times, but that might be intentional?
Love the limited colour palette artwork and the theming is top notch. I would probably prefer the driving to feel a bit tighter but then again maybe you were going for a looser feel. The control scheme can also be quite unintuitive at times. The chefs kiss devil is just awesome.
Interesting game! Weird to see a mostly story game in Ludum Dare! The writing wasn't the best but it was interesting. Gameplayw as kinda relaxing i just turned my brain off as i played
Love the graphics and the audio was quite soothing. Great Job.
Love the art style and gameplay. Only thing that'd make it a little better would be some BGM, but overall well done and well executed!
Need some heavy metal soundtrack! And more feel of an action, when on the streets, attacked. Overall liked the art style and how the bike works (and sounds), especially. Got lost soon without a map, though.
Really like the art and mood of the game. Bike controls are also tight. For some reason could not get the delivery to work at the second house? Maybe had wrong items? Great entry!
Woah, the art is amazing! I wish there would be soundtrack and an indicator to a place where to pick up orders, because it is quite easy to get lost after completing the first order. Great job!
As soon as I see the drawings I recognized you! You're the one that made the vtuber horror game in the previous jam right? I loved that game this game is pretty awesome too! At first I was getting lost and couldn't find the restaurant but I got better at it overtime. It was quite fun to figure out delivery locations. The game got stuck before talking with citri (I mean akane..). No delivery showed up for like 10 minutes. I decided to restart & replay the game. It didn't happen a second time As always, great drawings and aesthetic!
Fun dialouge and great art. The story was interesting and the ending was unexpected.
I really enjoyed this one. Way to go.
Amazing! From the graphics to the sound design! The little scooter was super responsive and fun to drive too, plus also it has an interesting story and romantic subplot?? This gets top marks from me! <3
Nice game, but after (or at?) day 4 I decided to quit. I think it's really cool that you made this whole town, but driving around delivering food is only so much fun. I get why you went for the mechanic where the player is faster on the road, but I think it would've been more enjoyable if I was able to ride around more freely. To be able to cut corner. Make me feel smart by cheating (Sakurai has a good video on that). Arrows would've been nice, but checking whether the distance increases/decreases does its job. The art looks really good! And the dialogues were funny.
Great art and really nice gameplay! It was so much fun driving around! Thumbs up!
Art is amazing and writing is really really nice, gameplay feels a bit purposeless and repetitive and I was confused at first that I had to pickup the pizzas. Also the way to fidn both the palce you need to deliver and going abck to the pizza place are a bit clunky. But damn the graphical work is jsut incredible and I really like the characters and whole vibe.
After the intro, you have to pick up the pizzas for delivery before hopping onto your scooter. Press E near pizzeria entrance, then pickup the goods with A/D and S. You should see them stacked at the back of the scooter when you hop back on. @jward @ruruie @alpacalypse
the art is so good! It's got so much character and the colors totally suit the theme. Like others, I also had a hard time delivering the pizzas because I didn't pick up the pizzas that were supposed to be delivered
One of my favorites! Writing and gameplay was so slick and having the enemy mob was a nice added challenge, art was amazing as expected, all round just awesome, would've loved maybe an indicator on where to go but I think having to figure that out for yourself better fits the vibe you're going for. Good stuff!
this is great, lovely aesthetics as usual. characters and dialog are very fun, gameplay is neat, i could see this being expanded on in a lot of different directions. Having enemies on the street is an interesting decision, they can't kill you and you can't kill them, so all they do is slow you down a little. probably something interesting could be done there, but i like the designs regardless!
On maybe day 3 or 4 I got in a situation where no new orders were coming in but i wasn't done with the day, so I was essentially softlocked. I stopped there, if there's more i may try again later! either way, super clean and fun entry :)
I'll just say one thing: great palette choice. It makes the game really stand out as beautiful :)
The gameplay wasn't very fun, but I really enjoyed seeing the different characters and the dialogues with them. I wanted to keep playing in order to see more of them and find out what happens next.
Loved the aesthetic and art, and the different outfits that the characters wore! :)
My experience with this game involved a lot of time looking at a number in the corner of the screen, which meant I had less time to enjoy your gorgeous art! This is a matter of personal taste, but I think this game could be improved with a Crazy Taxi style gameplay loop (if you decide to both continue working on it and lean into the action part of the game). I would prefer to navigate with an arrow above my character pointing to my goal and one destination at a time for instance. Really awesome art and a cool premise!
I really liked the game! One thing I found funny is that our team had the exact same idea but with vampires at the beginning, but the mechanics were a bit to tough for us to handle haha. Awesome to see a similar idea :) The atmosphere, the art are supreme. One thing I didn't get used to is the controls. I think some of the buttons used for interactions are a bit unconventional, and maybe some of the interactions could be simplified (e.g. getting all Pizza at once, instead of picking them one by one, etc.)
This oozes personality. The gameplay is not distracting but serves as a great vessel for the story. I was fully invested. There is a serious street crime problem in hell! Love it!
Enjoyed the story and the movement was nice. Only thing I would have wanted would be directional indicator for the restaurant.
Enojoyed both story, gameplay and aesthetics. It has a lot of personality going. The ending was a bit unexpected. You should expand on this and make it a full game, would like to see what happens after one of the endings that was cut short or the rest of the other one if anything more. GG C:
