I played this for some time. Great job! When I started moving quickly, I appreciated that the menus updated when actions happened in the background.

Wow, the graphics and sound are awesome, the humor is great, and the discovery aspect is super fun. Really great job!
HINTS for those having trouble finishing: Some objects need to be used with other objects, you can use some objects more than once, some things you interact with are not obvious. =)
Awesome job! Hard, but a lot of fun.
What tool did you use to create the pixel art animations?
My only issue is that I couldn't pay attention to the sweet graphics -- I was concentrating on timing the notes! :) Too awesome!
Clever puzzler with slick graphics and ui, really well done!
Wow, freakin' awesome!
Nice "tunnel nav" game, I like the movement of the fish and the graphics, especially.
Super slick graphics! Is there any way to avoid the tank fire? Ooh, I missed the "boost" hint. Anyway, really cool!
Great art style, hilarious!
Yeah, I kept the planet alive a long time, then sorta gave up. :)
Ha, great interpretation of the theme! I enjoyed it!
Awesome game, great job!
Nice classic feel to it.
Seemed like an interesting idea, but it got stuck at "Tutorial Cleared, press up to continue". Pressed up, nothing. Tried a bunch of other keys... nothing. Refresh and tried it again, just to be sure.
Not bad! I wanted to try it on a touch device, but the game didn't scale to fit my phone, so I was left to awkwardly pan around. Otherwise, I enjoyed it! Good work.
Very pretty, quick to figure out. A little slow to tell if I'm doing well or poorly, but I enjoyed it!
Super cute and fun platformer!
My fav part was the voice acting.
FYI, I just pushed a fix for a framerate issue that could cause havoc on the controls. It should now play as intended on various browsers. Oh, and there's a secret link to skip story dialog, if you just want to fly! https://jcward.com/fedup/index.html?skip
Thanks for playing!
Great feedback @eli-delventhal, thanks! Yeah, I have zero sfx experience, I'll look into that! These are [super janky hand-rolled physics](https://github.com/jcward/ldjam53/blob/main/src/drone/Collisions.hx) on a tight time budget  - I need to try a real physics engine. @lisyarus has [one](https://bitbucket.org/lisyarus/psemek/src/master/) I'd like to play with. And I have a couple ideas to make the drone smaller - 1) I might zoom the camera, and 2) I imagine a button to transform (but can no longer carry packages.)
Thanks again!
Random fun fact - the pixel building is modeled on [these ones on Pearl St, Boulder, CO](https://www.google.com/maps/@40.0174668,-105.2819496,3a,90y,173.76h,103.65t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1skGFfnQy4FAe0D7QkBiOEMQ!2e0!7i16384!8i8192) - I worked across from those for years, had a few reference pictures handy.
Interesting, the page is throwing for me (in Linux) with error: Error: invalid wire type 4 at offset 3
I'll have to come back and try it in Windows.
Gorgeous graphics and mood. It was a little hard to get started / not sure what to do. I planted some potatoes. Then a basket sometimes showed up with something that flickered inside? But nothing really seemed to happen.
At first I was like, ok, a little platformer. Low expectations. Then it just kept getting harder and better. I almost gave up at "use your head". Then 3X as hard?! Then this pizza and basketball show up!! When I got to the Piano, I totally Laurel and Hardy's that thing (rolling down more than a couple times!) The one with dozens of boxes was hard, and then I wasn't sure that "box jump" was even possible Spoiler alert: I spam-clicked it. But "great crossing" -- why would you do that to me? Apparently that was the end, because I never came out of that door? Had to take a screenshot to prove it.

Bravo!
Both our games are about quick-fingered physics - yours is definitely harder, but mine scores on time, so maybe we're even. ;) LMK how you like it: https://ldjam.com/events/ludum-dare/53/fedup
Wow, that was awesome! The time mechanic was wild, and the music and sfx were a good fit. I did find that with dash, I could jump off the track and skip the last couple puzzles. Great work!
Gorgeous, and amazing UI / transitions / etc. I started off ok, but then people started getting angry, but it wasn't clear to me why. Or whether I had too many or too few employees of a given type. Though I wasn't good at it, it was really impressive anyway.
I don't see any links to download or play your game.
Cool idea, and great execution. Having an EE degree, this is a neat concept.
Fun and simple, I enjoyed it! The next thing I would do is maybe make the controls have a little bit of acceleration / deceleration. Depends on your setup / framework, but e.g. in your on_frame handler, instead of:
if (keys.up) { velocity.y = 10; }
Do something like:
if (keys.up) { velocity.y = 0.6\*velocity.y + 0.4\*10; }
If that code runs every frame, it quickly increases from (whatever it was) to 10. But it's a nice little speedup.
 The crimes are killing me

Great artwork, creative UI. I couldn't deliver the pizzas once I got to the door. Maybe I had the wrong order?
Absolutely hilarious, and frustratingly fun! Those dang implements and their handles! :fist: The music was a perfect fit, physics felt great. Well done!
Cool idea, the pixel art was great. Framerate felt a little choppy on my computer.
I like the starfield and the audio, really set a nice mood.
FYI for others, on linux I had to chmod a+x game
Ha, that was fun and a bit crazy! Music fit the mood perfectly.
Cool parallax effect. The first level felt a bit long, but in a kind of sick way, the tedious comparing job was oddly satisfying. :D
Wow, crazy mood points, the music was intense! Great job.
Aww, just logged back in to a pile of friendly new comments. Thank you all!
This was neat to experience.
Ha, fun (and a little annoying!) really nice work!
Unique and fun concept. A little slow for me, but that's ok.
Nice graphics and animations. Seemed like I started with a lot of units, and it was a little confusing. It might be better to start with only a few, then gradually I learn how they work.
Simple but enjoyable. After an accidental placement destroyed my first attempt, I made a better plan. I think I won - no more waves after 21, right?
Oh, btw, in the web version, the white box is covering the HP bar.
This was fun... and I felt bad for continuing to play.
Not bad, I enjoyed it! Nice little animations. Being able to move your units is a unique twist.
Fantastic animations, and a really nice tile set. Nice keyboard hints in the beginning. The gameplay is simple, but that's the only downside. If the ghosts fought back, it could be more interesting.
