I absolutely loved this, if this was a paid game with a bit more content I would 100% buy it. I ended up playing through it twice. The audio design is terrific

This was a really cute game and seems like it would be really fun, a couple things I could recommend that would really push this game further is showing either a list of what you can craft, or when you hover over an item, what items can be combined with it. A lot of your first runs will be just trying blindly to combine random items to learn recipes rather than come up with a plan.
Honestly the movement in this game was really fun to just play around with, I think if you put this in a different game with less restrictions on when you can dash/jump you would have a really fun game. The visuals and tutorial are a little hard to look at mostly because the level is super cluttered.
This is a cool concept I haven't really seen, but there's not a ton of depth. Honestly if there was a bit more than just looking at what units you have that are strong against the adventurer that just spawned, it could be a fun game to just open while listening to a podcast.
I really liked the shading and feel of the island, as well as the ambient noise playing in the background. There was one egg that was a bit tricky to get because you had to double tab space quickly and it felt like it was exploiting the physics a bit, but other than that it was fun.
Fun, but a couple things I'd recommend are maybe adding a health bar and potentially removing the ability of skeletons to shoot through terrain, as 2 or 3 skeletons become very overwhelming.
I think the game had a lot of cool ideas, I really liked the idea of sailing between the different stars, and doing things to fix the issues. Unfortunately one of the biggest things that stopped me from trying more than a few times was being forced to watch the opening cutscene everytime. Maybe I missed the control but I wasn't able to skip it, and also there were no subtitles so it was kind of hard to hear.
I actually really liked this game, but noticed a very small couple issues. The first is that the bloom is a bit too high, maybe ~25% less would've made it a little easier on the eyes? It also would've been nice to see what you can control from your current position (Could make things light up slightly or pulse when in range), similarly highlighting which goal applies to your currently controlled cube would've been great and would help colorblindness. And the final thing is the speed, once you figure out how you need to complete a level, the rolling speed of the box can be a bit sluggish, perhaps holding shift or something would speed up your movement.
Overall though, this was a really fun play, I only wish there were more levels, it reminds me of old flash puzzle games in a good way
Oh I absolutely loved this, aside from a few small usability things like in one level (5 or 6, I don't remember exactly which) the first track became glitched and I had to restart the level because I couldn't edit it or remove the placed track, it worked amazingly. One small thing is maybe to make the restart level instantly reload the level and not play the level intro/dialogue again, but that's a very small gripe that doesn't matter much.
Overall, one of the best entries in a game jam I've seen, terrific job!
I love it, very satisfying sounds and punches, turns out it's super easy to just sit in the corner and build up enemies then punch them all into the pit at once
The controls were a little confusing at first but once I understood how to balance the energy bar it was fun! I like the theme as well.
Oh wow this was so much more fun than I expected it to be. The one gripe I have is that the shredder drop zone feels a bit finicky and sometimes it's harder than it should be to put something in the truck, like the massive box it feels like you have to be more precise than I would expect. Overall though I had a lot of fun and caught myself playing it for a while
I really love the idea, it was really fun and I kept wanting to play more. If anything the ability to upgrade how fast your bike can go would be really cool since it feels slow (at least just for my taste). I also would have loved the ability to zoom in as well, but otherwise it was really cool
This game is actually a lot of fun, simple concept but in a really good way. Just fun and easy to figure out. The sound effects are great too.
At first I loved the game because of the pun, then I pulled out the first liver and heard the sound effects. 3 Seconds later I moved the hands too close together and the liver stretched across the entire screen and I received -4000 points.
10/10, I pay my taxes just like everyone else.
I loved the character artwork and the theme overall fits really well together. The music was a really nice choice as well. Maybe some texture of some sort on the background would be nice and some obstacles, like if some of the rocks were actually spikes. But overall a cute game and it was fun too!
Very cute idea, the art is very cute and I like the different difficulties you can do!
I really like the premise of this game, but the controls feel a little awkward pressing ctrl to enter the portal, and there are times where you aren't able to see what's below you. I think this would be really cool if explored with a few more mechanics
Really cute game, I thought it would get old super quickly but I kept playing because I wanted to get to the point I could one or two shot requests
I really really like this game. Others have said it, but the controls could use some tweaking. An idea is maybe to have the last three potions you brewed in your hotbar then be able to press 1/2/3 to apply that potion, rather than having to open the brew menu every time.
Music was funky - Loved it
Art was scrungly - Loved it
Please do put out an update on itch post-jam, would love to play a more realized version of this
This seems like a cool idea, but with how slow it is between phases makes it feel more tedious than it should be. If there was an option to speed up the animations, this would definitely be more enjoyable. Cool idea
Fun little story, I really liked the little sounds in the game, had some nice jokes. There felt like sometimes I could skip/fast forward text but sometimes I couldn't, do wish that was more consistent as I just started skipping text
Took a second to figure out why I was dying, at first the bat summon can be hard to spot, but I ended up running through the game 3 or 4 times. The movement feels good and it makes me wish there was a speedrun timer. The only tweak I would make to the main character controller is maybe smooth/slow the camera a bit, it was a bit too sensitive to your movements for my liking but other than that it feels satisfying.
Very very cute, I would've really liked there to be more ability to figure out what frog is made from what other than just creating more frogs and spending the hearts to unlock the other recipes
@ruslana The intended way was actually to use the rocket after jumping off the box, but midair box jumps works just as well
@smogen So those colors at the bottom are controlled by 1/2/3 on your keyboard. You pick two of them and it will let you use the drawing. So for example, pressing 1 + 1 will create a box which you can place by putting it down in the world. You start with just the box element, then as you progress you unlock the other two
@thyoi OMG I love this art so much, we were so surprised to see this, it's so cute
I agree with the other comments saying it could be a mobile game, just something to play when bored. I found that most levels you could just spam super small walls to complete them
Holy this game lets you schmoove. If there was a more involved game where you moved around like this I would absolutely love it
