It's a little difficult when you can't see where you need to go on each side of the portal. Good entry though.

Nice game, interesting concept, reeeeeallly lacks description and tutorial. Going through portal with "Ctlr"? what are the signs? The idea is super interesting, with removing a bit of frustration it works good! Good luck

This game looks pretty nice and I like the music / sound effects. However, the controls seem to be a bit strange to me. I had to look them up. The signs are not clear for me either. However, jumping / walking around feels pretty solid and the portal system works great too (apart from the button placement imo)

Is there a purpose to place the portal, does it matter how I place them? I do think the signs telling you to portal or go down were good hints =) I enjoy the sound and music, think it is a very holistic pixel/chiptune-style entry, good job!

I got to the end of the long level! I think a 2D portal mechanic could lead to interesting puzzles, but the portals were a bit too simple in this game for good puzzles to emerge. Portal placement didn't really matter - I found myself just putting the cursor over my character and then click+ctrl to teleport, never needing to move my cursor otherwise. In the end the "puzzle" came from following the instructions on the signs, which was fun to figure out, but left me wanting more. I liked the music, mood, pixel art and the shader effect!

I really like the premise of this game, but the controls feel a little awkward pressing ctrl to enter the portal, and there are times where you aren't able to see what's below you. I think this would be really cool if explored with a few more mechanics
