LD50 — Delay the inevitable

Breakfast Time in Dream Land by rjhelms 2022-04-12T03:39:24Z

I really liked you game! The cats were extremely cute with their meows. I was transported into a very happy mood listening to the soundtrack as well. It was nice the game started out easy to give time to learn to play.

Aito Deliverance by Joror 2022-04-06T20:48:35Z

The temptation for Jason was too strong  ended up with 'artistic freedom'. Really enjoyed the game. Super impressed with UI! the phone was super cool, the driving screen, the whole loading packages in.

Detour by Dustyroom 2022-04-06T21:00:20Z

Really cool design! That combination of mechanics works so well, and really enjoy the aspect of having multiple destinations to be aware of. Everything was soo satisfying too! The sounds and animations.

Drawn Out by mechanicallife 2022-04-06T19:08:33Z

I had a lot of fun with your game. The audio was very impressive and I really liked how the cards interacted with each other.

Manual Manny! by ghost-in-the-toast 2022-04-12T02:53:49Z

Really like the collect the letters mechanic. The level art was fantastic, loved the 3d pixel art style. Got into serious focus trying to collect the second letter. Had a fun time playing.

The Unfortunate Tale of Mr. Bones by MiltonNH25 2022-04-05T22:01:43Z

I found this super fun! played a few times, on my first playthrough I didn't really understand what the yellow boxes were (the mining material), but understood the rest quickly. The tool tips really helped. I really liked the upgrades, and especially the building component. using the level features like the golden circle to make a bunch of buildings that reinforce each other was great. The game balance felt really good, its really impressive you were able to balance the upgrade costs, and damage boosts ect in the short game jam time. I liked the strategy too like how early game some techniques work better than later in the game where it seems the strategy changes. The mob control was a cool component too, think that area could use more options added with buildings.

Handsel and Gretel and Snakes by Jeremy Selwyn 2022-04-07T04:02:18Z

@bitlytic, @aflatthrasher @chocolat-endive, thank you very much for the feedback. Really happy you liked the movement, its very encouraging to hear. Might keep working on it after the jam. Trying to improve the tutorial, the over all busyiness of the levels and art.

Handsel and Gretel and Snakes by Jeremy Selwyn 2022-04-12T02:56:19Z

@corporation Thank you for playing the game and the feedback. Its great to hear the game has speed running potential, good motivation to fix it up. I agree it could use more clear introduction and clearer art.

Handsel and Gretel and Snakes by Jeremy Selwyn 2022-04-12T02:57:33Z

@cloud-studios Thank you for the feedback and for playing. Im happy to hear you liked the surreal mood! Think there must be a bug in the game because It is supposed to restart when its game over.

Handsel and Gretel and Snakes by Jeremy Selwyn 2022-04-12T02:58:31Z

@miltonnh25 Thats great to hear, happy that you liked the movement and aesthetic. For the dash ability that's good to know, thank you

Memphis, Bubbleland by Sam Machell 2022-04-05T21:24:37Z

Tomb raiding, retail executives, and snakes! Didn't manage to get a seat yet but one can hope.

Grovetender by Prakkus 2022-04-05T21:06:00Z

I had fun with your game, found like it fit the theme really well, and the grove was somewhere I would hang out (it is beautiful! I got 221 seconds

Rocket Rally by fueelin 2022-04-12T00:21:25Z

I liked your level design with the rocket jump, regular jump and rotating bouncy balls. The levels for jumping between platforms seemed fair and fun. Nice work!

Inevitable Fall by OliverEC 2022-04-05T20:45:29Z

Had some fun trying to stop the fall with the developer console (f12). Wasn't successful but saw some of the code while there and it looked cool

Tin Can by Hiku 2022-04-17T14:05:40Z

I really enjoyed the game. It was neat how the game made interesting situations. There ended up being a lot of snakes in one of the corners and then they basically owned it, couldn't go near there. In other sections there was loads of bunnys (how did there get to be so many lol). Was impressed how many kinds of animals there were and how they all shared the environment. It was a really cool simulation to move around in and see how all the animals were doing.

Student Simulator by Nejma 2022-04-05T21:17:43Z

The puzzle was engaging and it was fun how often they switched.I really liked the visual effects for the puzzle blocks, how they disolved, pixelated and warped. Ultimately I won once and lost once. The end screens for both winning and loosing were a great touch!

Encroaching Void by Phil C 2022-04-12T03:07:57Z

This this is really cool! Was curious how you did the void so I checked the code and found some neat shaders you made. Enjoyed the frenzy as everything closed in.

Delay the Invasion by Corporation 2022-04-12T00:03:08Z

I had a really good time playing the game. There were constantly more enemy types being added (the designs of the big guys and the bomb enemies is really neat), I loved that there was a mix of spells and different kinds of troops too. When my archers levels up and released the hyper beam it was super badass and might have been a highlight of the game for me.

I have no nose, and I must smell by Enad96 2022-04-05T21:38:28Z

Really enjoyed the music and general feeding of being in vast space! Playing your game was inspiring. Wasn't able to find the lore, but might return later.

Spark Boy by Joshua Steward 2022-04-12T02:40:36Z

cool game! really like the idea of becoming a bigger flame then burning the final brazier. The particle effects for the side jump looked great. Liked how the hub worlds worked and was kind of shocked (in a good way) that there was achievements in the game! Liked how the enemies were water sprites as well. At school I am part of a team making a game about a flame character as well, and it was really neat to see a different take on it.

EVERYTHING MUST GO (LD 50) by Cloud Studios 2022-04-05T21:10:46Z

I wasn't able to get the game to work on my computer unfortunatelyonstart.PNG

EVERYTHING MUST GO (LD 50) by Cloud Studios 2022-04-07T19:51:45Z

@cloud-studios,its no problem at all! if you get it working that's awesome I'd love to try it.

EVERYTHING MUST GO (LD 50) by Cloud Studios 2022-04-11T22:12:05Z

just played it and its really fun! After a few attempts managed to get a hang of some strategy and beat the game. I like how frantic it was and the theme of rushing to deliver the boxes to the shoppers was great. It was a cool mechanic that the boxes auto aimed onto the shoppers coming in. I had a bit of difficulty at the start since right off the bat there are three shoppers closing in. Thanks for letting me know its working, I had a good time playing it. Sorry It took a while to respond.

Corrupted Runtime by HideyBoi Dev 2022-04-12T01:22:46Z

The rotating platform is really clever, also think the shaders are really cool, and nice animations for the player.

Red Cube With Gun by n-studios 2022-04-06T18:36:59Z

Really enjoyed the landscape and how the enemies clustered together, it was fun to advoid groups of them.

Growing up by FancyPrice 2022-04-17T13:43:35Z

I really enjoyed your game! Right from the start the music kicked in, and it was a trip right back to childhood! really felt like the art and music worked so well here with the story. I enjoyed it so much I wanted each section to last longer, but alas you can't delay the inevitable :p. The puzzle with the cookies was fun, and I was worried when I saw the maze but it was forgiving and fun. The ending tripped me out, and I was wondering how you knew my name hahaha, good job on the whole game. It was a great experience from start to finish, hope you keep making games because this one is special.

FrameRaid by Bitlytic 2022-04-06T00:37:04Z

I really enjoyed this, I didn't always know how I died since it seems like the damage happens over time. Played it somewhere between 5-10 times. really loved the fireball enemy, they were chaotic in the best way.
