I found this super fun! played a few times, on my first playthrough I didn't really understand what the yellow boxes were (the mining material), but understood the rest quickly. The tool tips really helped. I really liked the upgrades, and especially the building component. using the level features like the golden circle to make a bunch of buildings that reinforce each other was great. The game balance felt really good, its really impressive you were able to balance the upgrade costs, and damage boosts ect in the short game jam time. I liked the strategy too like how early game some techniques work better than later in the game where it seems the strategy changes. The mob control was a cool component too, think that area could use more options added with buildings.
Fun use of theme with having to raise money to stay alive. Would try and add some more fleshed out versions of the gathering mechanic. All in all great job.
@jeremy-selwyn glad you enjoyed the game. I am happy to hear the balance of it felt good since it was mostly just a lot of picking numbers that seemed about right and hoping it would work out in the end. Also I agree that some more building options to both find and place could be good additions for the future.
Interesting game! It was kinda hard to read the instructions, due to the red text on black background. As a result, I wasn't 100% sure what I was supposed to do at first. Fortunately, after some practice, I understood what to do, and was able to really enjoy the game from there. It was very fun!
Definitely the most fun game I've played this jam so far! The music was nice and relaxing and made the game quite chill to play. The dev corner was a nice touch! I managed to last 20 minutes. Great work!

Nice game, I had fun playing but was only able to get past $700 once. I liked the upgrade system as a whole and though it worked really well although I think the towers and the upgrades that stacked on top of themselves (damage, fire rate, etc..) got too expensive to be worth it fairly quickly. I also found a bit of an exploit where you can place the portals and turrets outside the arena and just stand in a corner since the monster AI would just try to make a straight like towards you.

A pretty cool game that I caught myself getting addicted to a bit. I have a soft spot for management games so this one was a treat. I kinda wish that I had more options for moving around and dodging enemies, and I had to re press the number keys in order to display the placement colors correctly. Also it would've been nice to be able to open up the shop menu wherever I was, or have an arrow that pointed back to it to help find it again (my sense of direction is garbage so this is a small nitpick). Other than that this was a solid entry that I enjoyed playing.
Took me a couple tries to figure out where I could put down drills, the hit box is pretty small on the ores. Once I figured that out, I made it up to $3300 payment before I closed the game to rate the next. Nice calming music, though could use a few more sound effects. The dev corner was a nice touch. Good entry!
Took me 3 tries to figure out how to place the drills, I nearly quit, which would have sucked because this game was stupidly fun and i found myself getting a bit addicted to it!
With the ability to place enemy spawners as well as towers around those to kill the enemies for me I found it pretty easy, and the only reason I lost is because I got cocky with my spending and didn't leave myself with enough time in the end.
Made it to the 2200.
Overall, super solid entry, VERY good on the fun aspect especially. Good job!
