very good music, I like the baaaasssss
oh the sounds are soo good
It took me a loong while to figure it out, its like factory + overcooked
A very cool puzzle game and I'm loving the theme. This game honestly has potential, but it's very laggy in the browser :/
Cute game
I really like this kind of game. It was interesting. Only details I found was that the restart button doesn't make it very clear that you need to hold it. Nice entry!
Ooh, this was a fun brainteaser. Unfortunately ran into a game-ending bug on... I think level six, with the inside-out rolls. Some interaction between the restart mechanics and the controls for adding and removing conveyors led to one of the starting conveyors, required to connect to the switch, becoming an uninteractable dead-end conveyor with no way to reset it. I was on a roll, too, no pun intended. Could use some more polish, but a very cute game with a fun concept.
Very cute music and character and background art - I love how cohesive this all feels. Conveyor belt feels satisfying to place. The restart level button doesn't seem to do anything in my browser though (firefox). Took me a minute to work with the conveyor kitten correctly (might be a more personal 'issue' rather than a game one to be honest lol). I'm also having trouble getting through the double rice level - specifically placing down belts around the kneading station. (Also might be a me problem)
Anyway, great game, absolutely love it!
Cutscenes are very cool and the music is lovely. Sensei Hirune looks very wise.
Cat and sushi? Sign me up! I like the art and the sound design, very fitting. Varying conveyor belt length to account for dish order is very challenging and very nice.
I think you put a lot of work in to make the conveyor appear as you drag it. But, it's a bit laggy for me. I think maybe a simple brick-laying-style approach could work too since it doesn't have to be very responsive. Could just be my reference though.
Great work!
very cool entry, spot on sound design and art, and very good level design. Good difficulty progression and perfect amount of challenge. The reset button didn't work but it might be because I tried browser version only
Quite awesome and polished! The art, the soundscape, the colors, the animations are just perfect and go very well together. The conveyor puzzles are nicely balanced, introducing new concepts in a very logical way. Really well done and fun to play!
I encountered some bugs (even in the downloadable version) when the conveyor became unresponsive and impossible to extend/connect further. Resetting the level helped every time.
Awesome job on the game.
Very solid game! Love the idea of delivering sushi on a conveyor belt. Plenty of levels and combinations to make it interesting. Very good job on this one!
Cool game, it's quite challenging and has a nice atmosphere. I really liked the subtitles of the stages. There was only one bug that bothered me a bit: most of the time, I couldn't build a conveyor belt behind the conveyor kitten. I had to keep deleting the belts and positioning them again until I could finally build it, or even restart the level. But apart from that, it was a great experience.
This game is totally fantastic, I love everything about it - the atmosphere, the music, the art, the puzzle design, it's all really well done and cohesive! Fantastic work all around, one of the best games in the jam for sure!
Really great game!! The design of everything is excellent, and the puzzle design is really good! I got stuck on the wasabi stage and couldn't finish the game, but it was a lot of fun trying to figure out the route. Fantastic job!!
Really cool game, even though I scratched my head a few times. Loved the art and audio and having to create multiple conveyor belt routes was pretty cool. Good job!
Very good little puzzle game, the gameplay is easy to pick up! I love the atmosphere of the sushi restaurant and the designs of the cats are very cute! Congratulations again on the work.
Very good! I think you can place it on Play market and app store. This game fits to mobile game industry)
Very good, I love to see overcooked and satisfactory merged together !
I really like the graphics! I can't imagine trying to code a conveyor belt that works like that, well done, impressive! The intro scene and sound effects are all amazing too! What a great game!
just a quick note to say... I loved the name. Wasabi Whiskers. What a legend :D
Very nice music, sound effects and art, puzzles were fun as well. Great game.
great game! Some "Overcooked" vibes here, congrats!
Such a great game! I liked every part of it: the art, the music, the "courses". Really well done :)
YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUU! Love the art style of this game, and the sound cracked me open. Great game jam entry ^^
Excellent game. Fantastic game design, sound, art, theme, the whole shebang!
Dis game iz purrfect. I repeat purrfect. You should make it in to a full game.
Wonderful graphics, fun theme, challenging puzzles, good music, cats. What more could you want?
Found it a bit challenging but liked it overall. Great graphics and music and a fun mechanic. very polished as well
Epic entry, simple, easy to understand, FUN ! really great job !:)
Very polished and fun game! My only very minor gripe which might not be correct, is that I was only able to solve lvl 7 via live editing while the game was being run. If that is the case, or is a mechanic of the game, I wish there was a level describing that mechanic more in detail and that it was a little less harsh when doing so (cant move a plate that stops moving). Really enjoyable game and level design!
@cureja You can solve every puzzle without live editing. Maybe you want to try it again? Thank you for your feedback!
This is such a cool puzzle game! I love the graphics and audio. I did find a bug where the conveyor kitties' flags didn't match their arrows, but it fixed itself when I started and stopped the sushi plates. Overall, great job!
My brain is not prepared for the kind of puzzle-cracking this game expects of me. XD
All the same, I appreciate the level of effort and polish on display. Also, I'm a sucker for sushi, cats, and conveyor puzzles, so that's a whole trifecta of my interests on display here!
This game has everything to be appreciate, smooth gameplay, cat and shushi in a lovely japanese origami/ink style ! Nice down, puzzle was cool to solved :) ! Keep rocking !
Very nice puzzle game. Great presentation, and a fun challenge. Great job. I did run into a game breaking bug on level 9 where some of the conveyors stopped being editable. It could have done with a clear button to reset fully reset the level back to its initial state. A couple of the levels had stations on the top row against the wall which made them harder to spot. On level seven, the diners do not appear to be asking for wasabi, bit it is required. I appreciated the speed up option.
@someone Thank you for your constructive feedback! The button "Restart Level" will reset the whole level. We are currently working on v2.0 and already added more floor-space in the top and fixed the wasabi not showing in Course 7. Hopefully we can release these and other improvements and loads of new levels within the end of next week!
We continue to appreciate your feedback and ideas for our game!
Stay tunad! :fish:
Oh I absolutely loved this, aside from a few small usability things like in one level (5 or 6, I don't remember exactly which) the first track became glitched and I had to restart the level because I couldn't edit it or remove the placed track, it worked amazingly. One small thing is maybe to make the restart level instantly reload the level and not play the level intro/dialogue again, but that's a very small gripe that doesn't matter much.
Overall, one of the best entries in a game jam I've seen, terrific job!
Great game ! You did an amazing job with the graphics, it's easy to understand.
great puzzles! Just wish you could roll back to before you started the sushi instead of clearing everything.
@raptor851 You can! Just press the same button again 😊
