Pigeon Parcel by Genesis 2023-05-02T01:29:24Z

Oh boy, guys. I mean... the writing was funny, I laughed, and overall I enjoyed it, but... what a hump to get over with those controls. They were... Not Good. I don't want to ding you for it too much, but oof. Those were some textbook Not Good Controls right there. That was really the challenge of the game, was figuring out just how in the absolute hell I was supposed to even move- and god help you if you ever run into a wall. Interesting experiment, giving the player control over roll and pitch and nothing else- but sometimes the result of an experiment is "Oh, No. Oh No No No No No." Zero percent surprised that this business went bankrupt, considering it opted to exclusively hire pigeons with intense cases of vertigo. Once I got the hang of it, though, there was a little fun to be had in trying to steer that poor pigeon to its destination. Art's pretty impressive, though! Took me a ways into the game to figure out it was AI- the real giveaway was poor... what was his name, Johnny? Poor, poor Johnny, and his tragic hand-related condition. I don't know what kind of medicine that guy was taking, but there is a doctor somewhere that needs a-suin' for malpractice.

Wasabi Whiskers by Beebo Studios 2023-05-02T17:33:50Z

Ooh, this was a fun brainteaser. Unfortunately ran into a game-ending bug on... I think level six, with the inside-out rolls. Some interaction between the restart mechanics and the controls for adding and removing conveyors led to one of the starting conveyors, required to connect to the switch, becoming an uninteractable dead-end conveyor with no way to reset it. I was on a roll, too, no pun intended. Could use some more polish, but a very cute game with a fun concept.

The Holy Scanner by Teun de Vries 2023-05-02T17:12:20Z

Not half bad- there's not a lot to it, but the balance job was pretty tight. My first run I got screwed because I just ran past a lot of the bats, which meant they were still there when I had to run like hell away from the bosses, so there's a little thought you have to put into it. One issue was, like poboy said, it's easy to accidentally click on an upgrade when you level up, since the screen comes up instantly while you're probably in the middle of spamming click on a bunch of enemies.

The Blind Pig 🐷 by LittleBlackDog 2023-05-02T16:57:24Z

That was cute! Love the character designs, and the gameplay design's pretty elegant. I had a crash once, when attempting to identify the cop while I had their order in my hand still, but apart from that, fun little game.

@loveschach Oh, yeah, looks like that was the export version- I downloaded it yesterday and only got around to playing just now; either I missed the patched version or it didn't exist at the time.

Rain On Their Parade! by TomasPraestholm 2023-05-02T01:46:06Z

Oh my god, that was adorable! And fun, too! I was *not* expecting it to suddenly become a bullet hell when the scarecrows attacked. So much polish in this little game! Very clever mechanic, lots of little surprises with the very simple NPCs, super cute art, and just a joy to play all the way through. (Dinging you half a star on audio for having a ska-themed level, and then having the music for it *not* be ska. Like, what? Why would you- what's the- how could you- you got my hopes up!! I was so distraught I accidentally rained on poor Rudy!)

Orbo's Way Home by Jaxah 2023-05-02T01:08:27Z

Pretty nice! The dynamic light source thing added some suspense and surprises to what would otherwise be a pretty ordinary maze game. Made the most of some... fairly rough assets, using the darkness to cloak them and the sound effects to make you scared of the stuff going bump in the dark. Not sure what the point of the money pickups were? Not bad for a jam.
