Interesting concept. Those attacks were weird to control though. I loved the recordings, really funny.
I loved to explore this place. Nice entry.
I had a lot of fun with this one. Great work!
That was weird. I never thought someone would have this idea.
Interesting, but I really missed an AI. It would have been better to play.
Great sound, mate. I was not expecting this twist. The atmosphere of the game was really well done.
Cool! The retro graphics were awesome. I had a great time, good entry.
I loved tha game's atmosphere, but I have to agree with Garris that the decision to make E the attack button was a bad move. But I really liked your game. Good job, I spent a lot of time playing it.
I see some of Splatoon in there. Amazing entry, I loved to play it. I wish there were more mutations and forms though.
That was a joy to play. Great game.
Really simple design and gameplay, but effective, I would say. It was fun to play.
I loved this one. Great work, I had a lot of fun.
Fun game to play, it took me some seconds to guess what I had to do, but it was fun. Great idea.
What an original idea. I wish I had thought about this. Amazing entry, loved it!
I felt the game was not that intuitive and commands were a little bit hard to use.
Really liked the idea and loved the music, it definitely puts you in the mood! The problem is that it gets boring too fast.
And btw, I always lost, haha, even killing almost all the citizens. Is it possible to win?
Great mood and graphics. Collisions seems to be a bit buggy, but I had a lot of fun despite that. Great entry!
Cool and interesting games. It took me a while to understand those controls but after that I could survive for a while at least :D
Interesting concept. I wish the game was longer so that you could have added more ideas using those nice visuals. Great!
Simple and nice. We all have to start somewhere! Congrats!
Good entry, but I wish there was more to do in the game. It took me a while to understand the controls too. Love the visuals and the mood though. Good work!
Impressive art and really fun to play. Loved the idea and effort you guys put in this one! Great!
A very impressive game for a compo. I'm really impressed on how many features you were able to add in your game. Congrats. It was really fun to play!
Controls were a bit challenging for me, especially since collisions and movement could have been more polished. Nice entry, though. Congrat!
Very ambitious project. It was hard for me to find out how to play, but I admire your courage to create something as complex as this for a game jam. Great!
I found really fun digging all that stuff, even another doggo hahaha
It gets harder every time I play haha. I had a lot of fun with this one.
Interesting game, really liked the overall visuals. It's great to see Godot games around (I'm actually learning hwo to use). Nice!
Great mood and art in this game. Atmospheric was key in this one! Loved it!
A really nice one to play. I just wish there were some target/active battler indicators. That would've improved it a lot. But really fun to play overall. Nice!
I really enjoyed this one. The only thing I'd like to point out is that sometimes it's a bit hard to see the falling tiles because of their color. But apart from that, I loved the game. Lots o fun. Congrats!
Fun and enjoyable game. Also really hard, but I liked it! Congrats for finishing it!
Best OS ever. Congrats on this game. It was fun and lovely, full of Nostalgia. Loved it!
"CryptoCoaster is an absolutely 100% accurate crypto trading simulator." As a crypto enthusiast, I couldn't agree more. Congrats! That one was a lot of fun! Cheers from another Godot user! :D
Interesting game. Controls looked weird at the beginning but I got used to it. Movement and interactions were a bit slow too. Nice entry!
Great work and amazing graphics. I found a bit repetitive after a while, but I really enjoyed it. Great work, guys!
Really fun entry. It seemed a bit hard but you get used to it. I loved the 3D art and how it also feels like one of those old arcade games. Congrats!
@openfungames Thanks a lot for your feedback. There was an error in the release build, but it's fixed now.
@immortalnights ok, we've a got a new record here! :v: Congrats and thanks a lot for playing!
@anchorlight Thanks a lot for playing and for your feedback. The music is White Bat's. You can find it here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NZ4Of3lID84
Interesting game. I think the elevator could be a one way collision platform, as much as it could move faster than that. I say that because it took me a while to move things around. Congrats for the game!
I loved those graphics and enjoyed the mood. Fun project overall!
Interesting concept, a bit hard at first but I got used to it fast! I hope you guys finish it after the jam. Graphics are really cool and I liked the isometric view. Congrats!
Amazing jam entry and very well-balanced. I really liked you idea and the game's atmosphere was great. I loved the music too. Cheers from a Godot user as well! Congrats!
Loved it! The mix between 2D and 3D reminded me of some old PSX games such as Xenogears and Star Ocean. I enjoyed the mood and how well made the graphics were. I always get impressed when people use 3D + 2D in creative ways such as this. Congrats!
Good work with 3D. I got stuck in level 6, but I'll keep trying haha. Lots of fun on this one. Congrats!
Interesting game. I liked the transitions between 2D and 3D. The only thing I'd like to point out is there's a slowdown when you die. It seemed to me that the game would crash even. Good entry!
First typing game I've seen in this Ludum Dare edition. It was fun. Also, cool music!
This one was really unexpected. I wonder how you manage to do it. I've never used Game Maker, but now I want to check it out for more stuff like this. Really impressive and fun. Congrats!
I liked the idea but this could have been developed a bit further. I also think the file is overly big for a small project, but maybe that's because of Unreal Engine. Hope to see you guys in the next edition too!
Interesting mix of different gameplay elements. Very unexpected. I used to be a Love2D dev myself. It's good to see love devs around.
Congrats on making your first LD game. It was fun to play and I found not bugs while playing. Hope to see you next edition too!
Very simple and good. Congrats for doing it in 48 hours!
Interesting concept and I love the old school feel. I believe you managed to convey the theme very well!
Nice graphics there. I found the game a bit confusing. It's also a little annoying having to reopen the game every time the player loses but I guess this is due to the deadline. I managed to explode everything multiple times though! Congrats for finishing it!
Such a nice game. Really good graphics and sounds. I think it could be a bit more balanced honestly. Enemies seemed too strong to me and the bullets didn't do much. Maybe that's a pacing problem, which is a common issue for game jams. Congrats, guys!
I managed to reach 80 seconds. Controls were a bit hard, but the music was chill and cool, I'll give you that :D Interesting project. The only thing I'd point out is that I tried to access the options but doing it so makes the game language change to German (?). Not sure if this is a Windows only issue or something else. Anyway, congrats for the game!
Fun game. Controls were a bit awkward in my opinion. Congrats for finishing it!
It took me a while to understand how the game works but it was really fun overall. Nice to see Love2D devs in LD!
Interesting idea, even though I think the controllers were a bit hard to figure out, not really smooth, hard to control. I found interesting that your source code is just one single txt file. Big effort. Congrats!
Nice idea. I love TD games, always fun to play. The fast forward option was a nice touch because it was indeed a bit slow when I started playing. Congrats!
Hello from Brazil! Nice entry you got there. Congrats you finishing it on time. We all know it's hard to make something good in just 72 hours. My only complaint abou the game is that it's hard to plant and harvest things since the game seems to consider the sprite position and not the mouse's, so I had to be clicking all around to do it correctly. Overall, a very good idea! Congrats once again!
I loved it! It felt like one of those classic Atari games. I'd like to say I enjoyed playing it a lot and giving updates to my dragon haha. Also, such a great effort to make multiple stages. Congrats, guys. You've done an awesome job.
Loved the graphic style, very well done. It was hard at the start but I managed to to kill a lot of soldiers. Music and sfx were good too. Always great to see Godot entries in Ludum Dare. Congrats!
Wow, that was such a nice entry. Loved the idea and how it was done. Movement and controls were really in sync with the concept and atmosphere. I played it multiple times. It's hard to find balanced games because of LD's time constraint but this one was really well done. Congrats!
Fun and interesting idea. Nice graphics as well, very well made. Congrats on making it very polished!
Amazing graphics for a 72-hour jam. Now I want to use Unreal Engine someday. Nice mood, gameplay was nice! Congrats!
Interesting idea. Congrats! I thought the original key bindings were a bit confusing, even when changing it. If it was horizontal like those guitar hero games, that'd be much better. Nice entry!
I struggled a bit to understand what I should be doing, but I understood it after a few tries. Second level felt really repetitive, but I liked the idea. Interesting entry and congrats!
Impressive entry. Loved the music and graphic style. Everything was really well made. My only complaint is about damaging enemies. There should be some feedback when the enemy is hit otherwise it's a bit tough to see whether you hit it or not. I played it until the end and the upgrades were such a nice touch. Congrats!
Awesome sprites and graphics overall. Also, very polished, which is impressive for a 72 hour jam. I love how the progression goes and how you teach the player in each new step. Really enjoyed the puzzles. Congrats!
Interesting idea. Controls felt a bit dragging and hard to figure out. Different key bindings could improve it because using v to attack and wasd to move is a bit awkward together. Nice entry overall. Congrats!
It felt a bit hard at the beginning but I think I got the hang of it after a while. Controls were a bit sloppy and it was hard to get used to, but interesting idea overall.
Nice entry and congrats on making your first 3D game as well! Really fun and simple to play. My only complaint is that it's a bit hard to spot some enemies depending on where you are. Cool!
Such a hard game! I didn't manage to finish it because it was really hard. Nectar count felt a bit confusing imo. Overall nice entry and good take on the theme!
I found the voices really fun, that was great. Overall, great entry for the Unreal Engine community. I liked the graphics as well. Great!
Cool entry. Nice to see people still using Love2D. I used it for many years! Congrats!
Nice use of music there. It's always nice to see Godot entries growing in Ludum Dare. I liked the game but I felt like you could have explored the theme a bit more. Good entry!
@stellarnightmare and @lima-victor thanks a lot for your comments. You were the first people to play it haha. We had multiple breaking bugs close to the deadline and managed to fixed them. Night shaders, win screen, zoom controls were all bugged. We fixed those and decided to remove what wasn't working so people could play it without such issues. We plan to add new feature in a post-jam version so we can bring some QoL to the players. Thanks again!
I had the same issue with Godot 4 export! I'm glad you managed to upload on itch.io. I had to do the same. Overall, really good entry, fun and cute graphics too. My only complaint is that the jump could be like 10px higher, since I got stuck multiple times in a small height such as 2 tiles. The grappling hook felt a bit too fast, so it was hard to control it. Good luck with the jam!
Nice entry, mate. The ending was really fun and unexpected. I'd also like to congratulate you for the nice sound effects and visual design. It was cool and well made. This is kind of game I was not expecting, but I enjoyed playing it very much!
I had fun with the voice comments while I was driving like a mad man! Really nice.
Hey, thanks for your comment. Our games are indeed very similar! I had a lot of fun playing yours. I loved the atmosphere and how you used the flashlight and the labyrinthic paths to convey this sense of urgency while wandering around. It took me a while to figure out and find the stairs, so I spent a lot of time running from enemies until I understood you could climb the buildings haha. My only complaint is that the enemy spawn rate was bit high, but I suppose that was planned to increase the difficulty over time. Really nice entry, I loved it! Kudos for the online score, it was a nice touch! (felt great to be in the third place ;D) chrome_LDkgxZgbYy.png
Really cool and cute graphics for this one. I'm not a big fan of the genre but you guys managed to make something cool and enjoyable for everyone, I believe. Great!
First time I see a Pygame game here! I didn't play the final version, but the original one had some issues such as the score not showing at the end and the objects spawning very close to the car. Good entry overall!
It took me a while to figure out how to shoot correctly hahaha. Nice idea though. Congrats!
This is my favorite game so far. Everything works perfectly and it's very well balanced. Loved the music and the graphics too. You guys made an awesome entry. Congrats!
I liked the game, it’s polished and well-made, but I found it confusing to understand at first. As some others have mentioned, having to read a lot to understand the gameplay may be a bit counterintuitive for most players. Great entry though!
Man, it took me a long time to figure out how to win. My mind wasn't working at all. Good and simple idea. I played it so badly I couldn't beat the hard mode hahaha
Interesting mechanic and gorgeous graphics. All I could point out it that the game is bit slow and repetitive imo. Great entry anyway!
Cute and well made game! I loved the graphics, and the music was great too. Moving the camera around in the browser (I was using Chrome) felt a bit clunky, though. Great entry!
Very impressive for 24 hours! I like the visuals, it’s a mix of Minecraft with a more flat or cel-shaded world. This could definitely be expanded into something bigger. Looks great!
I always find it amazing when people manage to make multiplayer games like this one. I really enjoyed the game, especially because it fits the theme perfectly. It’s a shame you guys couldn’t deliver on time but still, great game!
Nice game and cute art! It could have a bit more content, but it's jam anyway. As @derek-glennon I also had some issues placing the items because of the snapping. Congrats!
For a game jam, I have to say this game really impressed me. All the models are so cool, and the controls felt very polished. Your team did an amazing job. My only complaint is that it maybe felt a bit too repetitive after a while. Congrats to everyone who worked on it!
Spooky game! It was fun to play, and the art is very cute and well-made. I got a bit confused about the WASD and directional key combinations since it's not very common to see them combined like that. Anyway, nice and fun game!
Simple but well made. I found it quite hard to balance the gems on the shield, maybe having some mouse control would make the movement and gameplay smoother. Overall, I liked it, even though it’s quite simple.
I loved the idea, and I have to say that the pixel art looks amazing and well made. I felt the text speed was a bit too slow, and maybe the game could use a bit more interactivity overall. Still, it’s a great game, and congratulations on your first one!
I found the game quite bizarre and intriguing and I wasn’t expecting that kind of game. It took me a while to understand how it worked. The atmosphere was great, really well done and scary.
Why does that feel like my life when I was 18? Really cool game. Well done!
I loved the game’s concept and visuals. I just felt the controls were quite difficult at times it often felt like the van was driving on ice. It reminded me of Rock n’ Roll Racing or similar games with that kind of camera view. Great job!
Congratulations on the game! I found it quite simple, but the idea worked really well for me. Congrats on joining the LD!
Very well done. The game feels very polished for the short amount of time we had. My only complaint was probably the camera, which made me a bit dizzy at some points, but other than that, I think it was a really good and fun entry, with very cute graphics. Congrats to everyone!
I thought the game was really well made and polished, especially considering the short time we had for the jam. Great idea, and I had a lot of fun collecting upgrades for the lawn mower haha. Great job!
I found the game a bit hard to understand without checking the tutorial. However, that’s usually the challenge of participating in jams like this, since we never manage to make things polished enough. Overall, I thought the game was really beautiful and the art was very well done.
Very creative I can see how you got there! It took me a while to figure out what was going on in the game, and I’m not sure I fully understood it since the web version was a bit buggy for me as well. Overall, it was worth the effort to finish it. Congratulations!
I enjoyed the game, but I have the same complaint as @dullai. If the colors had better contrast, it would be a bit easier. In my experience, I spent most of the time trying to differentiate the colors, especially in the second painting and the Van Gogh one (it was hard to distinguish the blue tones for me). Overall, I loved the atmosphere and the graphics, and the music really contributed to the game's mood. Great job!
This one was scary! I really liked the game’s graphic style, it was kind of creepy and always keeping you on edge. I was expecting something worse, like a jump scare or something like that by the end. I think I can say the weak point for me was the mouse controls because they were a bit hard to use and because of this it took me quite a while to collect the items. But maybe that’s because of the web export which tends to have issues like that. Other than that, really good job!
This felt a bit like those inventory management games. I liked it, and the music matched the bargaining atmosphere really well. A very simple but good idea. Nice work!
I liked the visuals, but I couldn't do much beyond trying to find the bugs and got nothing. Also, I don't think I understood the game very well. I don't often read the guides because I like to figure out jam games by myself, but I have to admit this one could really use a guide.
I really liked the idea! Although it was a bit hard at first, I managed to get the hang of it later. The concept was well executed and the game felt polished despite the simplicity of the graphics. I also really liked the music. Great game and congrats!
Hey there, friend. The game is not working for me! Maybe you could try uploading it on itch.io. Let me know!
