I have this game run on my pc, but its tricky to figure out the gameplay, and the sfx is scaring me. Anyway glad to see you have your game finished!
Unfortunately couldn't play the game properly as I continously blew up on spawn, if you fix it and lmk then I can come back and give a proper review :)
Game is broken. Player blows up on spawn in the windows version.
@osh-studio @validdark The issue with the player instantly exploding should be resolved now. If you like you can give it another try now :)
@very-bad-bunny-studio I included the VC++ runtime DLLs, including the one you were missing, but no promises that that's enough to make it work. Compiling yourself on Linux would be a safer bet :)
@jeinzi Thanks, I gave it another try and was actually able to play it this time! It's pretty difficult to get enough gas cans to keep going for very long but I liked the control scheme, I just couldn't get gud at it fast enough.
It's a challenging and fun game that fits the theme well! I'd love to a future version on mobile! Congrats on a great entry, I had fun :)
Game built well for me! And it was a fun little arcade style game that was entertaining. The main menu design was honestly beautiful, the graphics in game weren't bad either and the drag-style mechanics were a lot of fun to fool around with. Entertained me for 15 minutes or so!
This was a fun game. My best time was 112 seconds. I would recommend slowing down the fuel. It was hard to move to get to it. Also, maybe add some obstacles to avoid. Congrats on using c++, that's no easy feat. Nice job!

Good job with the game. I liked the art style and pretty fun trying to fly around the ship. It did feel like there was a decent amount of delay between inputs and the ship moving that made it difficult to collect the gas cans. I think it would have been cool to see either other things to collect or objects to avoid as well. Overall cool game.
Cool game! I'm agree with the "add something to avoid" comment. The controle of the ship are new to me, so it's a good point, but it's also a bit frustating. Overall, good job!
I got the hang of the plane controls after a while and quite liked them in the end. The fuel spawns felt a bit unfair though.
I was sure I can make this looping happen! I was not... that explosion sound 20 seconds after I left the window just scared the hell out of me... :P
the plane was for sure unstable. there must have been a surplus of fuel and gas cans that people were throwing in the air. seriously though, great effort although the game is lacking some fun. i really liked the spinning world and i think you could have done some more with that.
I managed to reach 80 seconds. Controls were a bit hard, but the music was chill and cool, I'll give you that :D Interesting project. The only thing I'd point out is that I tried to access the options but doing it so makes the game language change to German (?). Not sure if this is a Windows only issue or something else. Anyway, congrats for the game!
The game lacks some kind of end, or remembering the best record to break it. Overall a good job. The cessation of the music at the explosion and the continuation after a while is wonderful)
That's one pretty unsafe plane to fly on! I legit burst out laughing at the explosion when my fuel ran out :laughing:
I'd expect for the plane to slowly descend when fuel is out, and crash at the bottom :D
My only complaint is about how tricky it is to control the plane, and in such a precise way to collect the tiny gas cans :( holding keys was behaving weirdly, so I just started mashing the keys to control the plane better.
Kudos for using C++ though, this is crazy!

Thanks to everyone for playing and rating my game! :) It's was my first time participating and really a great experience.
@miltonnh25 @xariusexcl I found to issue regarding the input delay and fixed it, but as it is not a game breaking bug, I didn't publish an updated version for the jam.
@pixelstuff @mateu Things to avoid (and a bunch of other things) were on my to-do list as from the beginning, but I didn't have time to implement it :/
@megalukes I wanted a submenu to open when clicking "options" - but the deadline had already passed, so I just didn't have time to implement that and it stayed an experimental language switch :) Anyway, thanks for the bug report! :)
@axonny Same goes for the highscore - the option in the menu is there, but the time to add the functionality was not :D
