How They Survived by Florent Juch 2020-04-24T12:29:40Z

This was really fun! The music worked well for the game and the controls were a really good fit! Really intuitive design and an overall fun concept. It took my a while to learn how to properly fling enemies, but once I got the hang of it, it was really satisfying! Great job!

Medic! by mrbandler 2020-04-21T17:26:42Z

I really enjoyed playing Medic! It's an interesting idea and was executed well, the graphics were cute. My only issue is with the random bullets - I found myself waiting a long time for the last soldier to get shot each wave. Overall a really good game, well done!

Todd and Bobb's Excellent Adventure by bigbadollie 2020-04-24T16:32:45Z

The graphics for this are nice and cute, I like them a lot!

I also really liked how the tutorial was presented. It clearly showed what each element was and there wasn't a big wall of text!

The overall game concept is great - there's this exciting back and forth between needing to get fuel for your torch and not leaving your companion behind. At one point I realised my companion was quite far away and battling towards him before my torch ran out was so stressful (which is a good thing - I love it when games create tension/anxiety through their mechanics). I failed, but that moment was fun!

My only complaint is with the control system. Maybe I just needed some more practice but it didn't feel intuitive to control. Some games like ResidentEvil use a slightly awkward control scheme (such as stopping the player from moving whilst shooting) to create tension and put more pressure on the player during combat. I think the control scheme for your game caused more frustration for me than tension and would have benefited from a more conventional control scheme, especially as there is already enough tension during combat whilst trying to defend your companion. (That's just my option of course!)

Overall you made a great game, especially with the time given! I'd love to see more, well done!

Drop the egg Jeff by Dextreon 2020-04-27T15:16:56Z

I enjoyed how frustratingly difficult this game was, the challenge kept me wanting to try again! The controls felt nice and I like the fact you added controller support too. Great job with all that!

The graphics looked good too, I feel like I'd pull the same expression of Jeff if I was him (points for humour with that). There were a couple of bugs I found, such as being able to slide through the wall on the left of the player but small issues like that are to be expected in a jam! overall a really good game that I enjoyed, well done ! :)

The Blind Hummingbird by Webox 2020-04-22T13:44:44Z

Great game with a nice atmosphere! It felt so tense when I didn't have many moves left, then just as I found the last bug it moved and I ran out of turns (This was a great experience and fun gameplay moment)! Great job, I'd love to see more !

Blackbird by Rongo Matane 2020-04-21T23:10:57Z

Really nice visuals and a great parallax effect! It's a really nice concept and the controls feel good. Great job, well done!

Wayward by ColeSlaughter 2020-04-21T01:32:28Z

A really interesting concept and nice experience that allows for multiple playthroughs. The controls are simple, yet intuitive. Seeing a map of my path at the end was a nice touch which made me play a again; to my surprise the experience was completely different to the first playthrough!

For Ducks' Sake by GaryS 2020-04-27T15:30:24Z

I was originally sold on the name, but the game is great too! The animations are nice and the way the little chicks flock feels great. I'm not a huge fan of the death sound for the gnomes, but I absolutely love the 'HeHeHEE' they make when they steal the chicks. Many games would have take the easy option and just had the chicks disappear or die, so I like the fact you went to the effort to make the gnomes pick them up and run off with them. I think it added an extra element to the gameplay. As soon as I heard that hehehe I'd panic and desperately try find my chick - Great job! I'd love to see some extra weapons. I think the rate at which the gnomes spawn later on overwhelmed me too much, but if I managed to get better weapons I'd have kept up fine. Minor issues aside this is a fantastic game, well done!

Leafy Hero by Guilb 2020-04-23T13:17:46Z

Nice game! The graphics are really cute! The audio was nice and I like the animations! A really nice game overall, well done ! :)

THE SECRET FLAME by Thomas Lean 2020-05-11T14:57:46Z

This has to be one of the most polished games I've played so far! The visuals look great, with a gorgeous pixel art environment and nice illustrations for each character. The controls were on point, feeling intuitive and easy to use. The puzzles were a nice addition and felt both planned out and a good fit for the game world. There was a nice sense of pacing and I felt invested throughout.

It would have been nice to have the option to show all text right away when talking to an NPC, but clicking ended the conversation instead. I don't understand how the other adventurer got across the bridge before you considering it was missing, but apart from these 2 minor issues the game was a fantastic experience and an amazing entry.

I'd love to see an extended post-jam version of the game! Well done, you all made something great!

Mount Ookie by Brusi 2020-05-12T11:50:27Z

What a great game! The pixel art is amazing and gameplay felt polished throughout. I particularly like how you added pointers to wasps that were off screen, it was a nice touch that made the game feel great! The audio was a good fit and the eating sound made me laugh (It's a good fit, it just tickled me). The game fit the theme well and there was a nice balance between collecting wasps to feed ookie and using them to break obstacles. I really can't fault the game. It's a fantastic entry, well done! :D

Perish alive by Lyrcaxis 2020-04-28T10:55:31Z

I originally found this game through your design breakdown post which an interesting read, thank you for sharing. This game felt really well polished and your management numbers felt spot on! It was more challenging than I expected, but that made me replay it a few times to try beat it (which is great!). The visuals are really nice, with some great animations. The coloured smokey particle clouds really added to the atmosphere and I really liked the animations for the jellyfish.

A restart button at the end would have been nice, I had to refresh my browser when I lost! But that's only a minor issue. This is a fantastic entry, well done!

My Friend Phil by Conroy 2020-04-21T21:52:21Z

The spritework and overall visuals are nice. I love the fish, such a fun concept! Wall jumping felt a bit clunky and unresponsive, but I really like the fish health and throwing mechanics. Great work!

Keep the Love Alive by notapixelstudio 2020-04-22T13:52:57Z

The graphics and animations for this were so nice, I really liked it! The jump felt very responsive and it was very easy to distinguish which platforms could be jumped onto from underneath! I didn't have someone to play with so I had to play with AI - The AI felt really good although it didn't want to spend enough time with me!

The game captures the difficulties in balancing a healthy relationship with other responsibilities well. Relatable and fun, great job!

Fleur Defense by SamStallion 2020-04-22T08:40:24Z

The animations and overall visual style for this game is great! Even the menus have had the same level of detail as the rest of the game! It plays really well and is an overall fun and cute concept which I like a lot! A great submission, well done!

Ice Ice Baby by Fabrizio Spadaro 2020-04-27T16:35:08Z

Really nice set of mechanics. The levels progress nicely with a satisfying ramp in difficulty and new content. One issue I found is that it thinks I'm stood under a shadow when I'm stood next to a platform with a shadow underneath, maybe make your trigger zones slightly smaller? (I exploited it a few times).

The graphics are cute and over all it's a very nice game! Great job, I'd love to have more levels to play!

Bottom Up by srknvrnbskrt 2020-04-27T16:12:01Z

Such a great atmosphere! I genuinely felt intimidated by the giant octopus! Procedural animation is hard, so this was really well done! I love how the camera swayed with the ocean and over aesthetic was consistent and nice.

The overall concept was great however I wish there were a few more ways I could repair the ship to avoid repetition; however for the time given this is fantastic and certainly a great step towards some awesome procedural animation! You did great, keep it up!

Don't Go Grandpa by Ignacio Zamorano 2020-04-21T15:40:44Z

I really like the visuals and the effects each virus type has on the player! The map felt a little too overcrowded at times which made me just run through enemies instead of around them. Overall a fun game, good job!

Dino spin by relixes 2020-04-21T22:14:36Z

Great visuals and a very fun core game loop! The game is difficult (but not too difficult) and the controls feel solid / fair! It's a really simple and effective game that makes me want more. Well done!

Oaks & Pines by Argon 2020-04-21T19:54:07Z

It's a really relaxing game, although it did feel a little too easy! The graphics look great and overall it's well polished. With a few balance tweaks this would be very addictive, good job!

Runaway by HackTrout 2020-04-22T21:13:14Z

I really like the cover mechanic in this game and graphics do their job well! It's a fun game that feels well polished. I especially like how the camera will move depending on which direction the player is facing, the transition is nice. Overall a nice and fun game, well done!

Carnivorous Bananas by Spice Cabinet 2020-04-21T19:09:42Z

Absolutely love the concept for this, such a fun idea! The rate bananas spawn felt really good and fair, giving the game a nice sense of pace whilst keeping the challenge at a nice level. The levels felt thought out and polished. You made a really good game, well done!

Stoke The Flame by indieaustin 2020-05-04T16:55:43Z

A nice concept and some great sprites! The hopping drops of water were cute and it was very obvious what their purpose was (a good design decision)!

I think the game would have benefited from some more spawn locations for trees as I struggled to find any to begin. When I eventually found a tree I kept going to the same location, which removed the panicked feeling I had at the start of the game. With a few balance tweaks like a faster burnout time for the fire and more tree spawnpoints this could be really addictive! I'd love to see you take the game further and add new content, great job!

The Given Path by Jvdwijk 2020-04-22T21:17:12Z

I struggled with the card game, but I really liked the movement system! It's a fun game and I enjoyed the experience! Good job!

Stay Alive by Hruy Gashaw 2020-04-21T17:14:30Z

A fun game! The post pro / glowing effects really added personality to the game and helped bring it to life. The gameplay was solid and intuitive. The ability to make enemy turrets shoot each other was a nice touch, well done!

How to Air by kwaku 2020-04-21T17:39:19Z

One of my favourite art styles so far! I was slightly confused with what to do initially, but that's part of the fun with point and click games! Great job and a fun game!

Save Your Wife! by Sparsha Dhar 2020-04-22T11:38:28Z

I found the controls a little difficult to begin but I quickly got used to them! It's a fun and the graphics are really nice. The throw your wife mechanic is both amusing and fun! I really like the game, good job!

Ubergine by curleysam 2020-04-22T14:06:30Z

The graphics for this are great but my favourite part has to be the faces on the ubergine! Such a fun and silly concept that works as such a fun game! Controlling the two characters was challenging to begin but that's all part of the experience and fun! One of my favourite game ideas so far! Well done!

Mr. Cheesy by SAVVU 2020-04-27T16:41:57Z

A nice concept that fits the theme! It felt polished and the visuals are consistent and nice, however I did feel a bit motion sick towards the end (I get that from time to time with some pixel games so that's nothing on you). I like the cheese pickups and the game had some good music. I'd like to see an updated version with more trap variety, such as knives maybe? But for the time given you made a brilliant game that felt very well polished. I'd love to see a mobile version !

The Dogsanity Abusive Experience by blackmoodgames 2020-04-21T20:39:51Z

I really like the art style and how the game is designed for multiple playthroughs! I found it really challenging to keep everything in balance but it felt fair which kept it enjoyable! Now to try get the 'good ending'. Great job!!

Last Light by LykaWolfie 2020-04-22T19:32:33Z

I really liked the light mechanic in this! The fact hiding your light prevents you from jumping was a really nice feature, and the health bar for hiding light made it really tense in moments where I wanted to keep it hidden but couldn't! Good job, I really like!

Shapes by Finn_Tr 2020-04-22T16:54:25Z

I found this really challenging, but I think that's part of what makes the game so good! There's a good sense of mood and pace. The timer for throwing and collecting the ball kept me so tense throughout - I love it when games can cause an emotional response! The movement felt nice and although challenging, I felt the game was fair with its timings. A great, challenging game. Good Job!

The Dark Cave by Tom Stephenson 2020-04-21T21:25:32Z

Thanks for the feedback everyone, it's so encouraging!

Apologies for the late reply to most of you, I've had a few issues loading the comments section (and other parts of the website)

@ssntf @super-hadoken @radow The flying glowy bug creature was mainly designed to help introduce the concept of creatures blindly following sound and wasn't intended to follow the player beyond the water. In hindsight I probably should have added a scripted scenario where it leaves!

@enderr42 @raeya The spider movement is procedural! I'm proud of what I made in the time given, but the movement does require a lot of work! I had a few issues when trying to prevent the spider from climbing up ledge so it sometimes still gets to places it shouldn't. Apologies @3lstmsinatrenchcoat for the unlucky bug find!

A lot of comments have mentioned sound which I certainly agree needs some balancing / work!

Thanks again for all the feedback, it's definitely made me want to do some more work on the game!

Save the torch! by eduardogacn 2020-04-28T11:12:14Z

This is a really nice entry! I like the visuals a lot and the gameplay feels solid.

Quite a few games have been based around protecting a flame however I think your torch mechanic was far more interesting. I like how it's used as a weapon, but how use also makes it go out. Collecting the little flames left behind after killing an enemy was a nice addition to this mechanic and I like the fact you get burnt by those flames if you're not carrying the torch.

Overall a fun game and a great submission. Nice job, well done!

LD47 — Stuck in a loop

Unscripted by Iluvatar 2020-10-05T22:21:57Z

Great atmosphere and amazing art, I love it! All the robots really felt like they had a personality and the overall character design was spot on! The click area on the right side of the screen seemed a bit small when going to new aeras, so I had to click around a few times, but apart from that minor issue this was a great experience.

Congrats on a fun and atmospheric entry! :)

Gorilla Power by Jiri Hysek 2020-10-05T22:28:14Z

Congrats on the entry! It was fun ramming into guards and I liked the challenge of attacking them before they one shot kill you - made me plan where to go and kept me thinking which is great.

The platforming felt a little clunky at times and some of the sounds were harsh towards the end, but issues aside this is a great entry. I had a lot of fun playing it, well done! :)

ME! vs the unrelenting alien invasion by Human Writes Code 2020-10-09T09:31:09Z

A fun and challenging game that feels fair! The tutorial added a lot of personality to game and managed to both teach how to play and tell the story at the same time (Thank you for the option to speed up / skip text!).

As mentioned the gameplay felt challenging, but was really enjoyable! The graphics were great and the controls were responsive and felt intuitive to use.

Difficulty spiked up a little too fast after wave 10, but I feel like that's probably just me being bad at the game :p Overall a great entry, well done!

Slime Boi by noakishere 2020-10-06T18:24:09Z

I really enjoyed this, simple yet juicy! The art looked great and it's addictive! I like how you force the player to jump by making the slime slowly slide down the screen - it felt really polished.

The different backgrounds and particles such as snow depending on the setting helped keep each playthrough feeling fresh. You should definitely develop your game post-jam for mobile! Well done!

Lunar Loop by Tom Stephenson 2020-10-06T18:07:19Z

@juanv @fabula-rasa @profugo-barbatus @rockclaw @noakishere @peace-of-cake-games @iluvatar @celuloide @scintillae-creations

Thank you all for taking the time to play the game and give feedback, I really appreciate it!! It's also nice to hear some of the smaller details and 'game feel' details haven't gone unnoticed ;)

Balancing the difficulty was a tough challenge, and I definitely agree that it's currently on the easier side at the moment! With more time/testing I certainly would have adjusted it more, although I'm glad it's not impossible to beat!

Sisyphus Beetle Takes His Daughter to Work by pee-thief 2020-10-06T18:16:10Z

This was a really funny and enjoyable game! the visual style was great and the little jokes though-out made me laugh a lot! you also managed to link to the theme really well.

Great job and a great entry! Well done, It was the first game to make me laugh this Ludum Dare ;)

Sinner's Hotel by ElllaDee 2020-10-06T12:58:07Z

Took me a moment to properly understand how to play, but I certainly felt like I was stuck in a loop! You tackled the theme well and it was enjoyable experience! The humor was enjoyable and added to the experience a lot. I like the graphics and animations although the player did sometimes get stuck in his idle animation whilst moving (only a minor issue though).

Great job and fun game! :)

GravLoop by AvatarGreggles 2020-10-06T19:32:11Z

Frustratingly fun - The game feels solid! I like the music and the controls feel slick. I also really like the graphics! It's hard, but it certainly feels fair! This would make a great mobile game and I'd love to see a port on the play store if you decide to take it further post jam!

Congrats on a great entry!

[while'd] by Celuloide 2020-10-06T07:44:54Z

This is a great entry! A really good use of the theme that lead to some really interesting gameplay, well done! The visuals were nice and the instructions were clear. I like how each 'loop' progressively adds more challenge and progressively increases in difficulty.

My only complaint is that the player doesn't move with the platforms in one of the later loops - I found it really jarring. It made it really difficult because I expected the player to move with the platform.

Minor issue aside, this is a fantastic entry that scores high is all areas! One of the most creative interpretations of the theme I've played so far, well done!

The Cursed Knight by djayne 2020-10-06T12:41:05Z

I really enjoyed my time with this entry! I love the art style and the game makes great use of the theme. The story was a lot of fun and a great concept!

The controls felt smooth and responsive, however gameplay would have benefitted if the camera was slightly offset so that you can see more ahead of you. Only a minor issue, but it did make the large jump over the fire more difficult to begin with!

Overall a great game entry and a fun experience. Well done! :)

Looper - The Last Mission by Coding4rtist 2020-10-06T12:48:59Z

A great idea that fit the theme really well! There was a nice level of polish to the overall game and loop mechanic was a lot of fun! It kept me thinking throughout and was an enjoyable experience. Well done on a great entry!

LD48 — Deeper and deeper

Acheron's Gambit by zarthas 2021-04-28T20:11:42Z

The art for this is fantastic and I really enjoyed the controls and gameplay. Definitely gave me original gauntlet vibes, but also felt unique in how it controlled. It's well polished and a fun entry, I'd love to see even more content!

Codename::GreyHat by Train27 2021-04-27T20:53:23Z

What a cool and different entry! It's really well executed and feels well polished! The writing is great and was immersive from the get-go. Took me moment to properly get my head around how to play the game to begin, but figuring out how to use it was also part of the fun. Congrats on a great entry :)

Sonder (a story) by Noble Robot 2021-04-27T20:32:38Z

What a great game! Really different to the other entries I've played so far and it had such a great atmosphere. The art is gorgeous and really helped bring the setting to life! The music fit well and again helped add to the atmosphere. Congrats on creating an incredibly well polished game; there's so much to like in this!

Deep Diver by lilou_cormic 2021-04-27T21:01:50Z

A well polished and fun entry! The gameplay felt solid and the difficulty seemed well balanced. Extra lives and bombs appeared just at the right time, and there was a nice risk vs reward when collecting them (I lost a few lives trying to collect bombs). It's a fun entry that would make a great mobile game if you had the time to port it! The fish in the menu text was a nice addition too. Congrats on your entry! :)

The Depths of Science by Trusty 2021-04-27T19:59:10Z

Congrats on making your first 3D game! You matched the theme well with the elevator taking you deeper into research facility I loved the enemies; they were some really funky designs that gave the game a fun but still tense atmosphere! Great job!

Wizard Dungeon Escape 3D by Sodaro 2021-04-28T19:42:58Z

Took me a moment to figure out what to do, but I really enjoyed it once I figured out how the mechanic worked! It's a cool concept that could lead to plenty more exciting puzzles. The controls felt good and I especially liked how you added in a toggled menu for the controls. Great job on your entry :) !

Mineshaft by ditam 2021-04-27T19:33:21Z

A great entry, had a lot of fun playing this! The idea is different and fun, and it's even more impressive you found time to add AI (which seems to work really well)! The visuals are nice and intuitive, making the game approachable. Congrats on a great entry, would love to see a physical version one day!

Death Cult by TentacleMax 2021-04-27T20:08:37Z

This is a really cool concept with a surprisingly addictive core game loop! Absolutely love the spritework in this! Can't get much deeper than hell, so I'd say you hit the theme pretty well! :) Congrats on a fun entry!

Muggy Lake by Bossus 2021-04-27T20:43:41Z

I really liked the visual style you went for, it created an eerie atmosphere which I loved! I enjoyed the puzzle aspect of working out which items to use, although I did assume the sword could also be used on the monster. The boat controls felt good and I liked the way items were presented for use in the boat, rather than using an inventory UI - it kept the atmosphere going and made it really engaging. Great job! :)

Glyphs of Madness by itsatony 2021-04-28T20:20:33Z

Took me a moment to properly get my head around how to play, but I really enjoyed it once I got it! Like others have mentioned a tutorial would have gone a long way, even in the description maybe? The game felt very polished and looked great. It was fun to play and makes for a nice entry, great job!

The case of the door in the woods by jonah 2021-04-28T20:06:09Z

The music and audio for this is great! I enjoyed how the story was presented and the art style you went for works so well! I especially love the walking animation that plays as you transition between areas! Overall a really enjoyable and different entry, well done! :)

Nostril Navigator by Xenon27 2021-04-28T19:47:05Z

What a great interpretation of the theme, I love it ha! Well polished and fun to play with a good dose of humour. A great entry!

Surrender the Core - A Roguelike by Sirfist19 2021-04-28T20:26:46Z

Really nice visuals and the grapple hook was a fun mechanic! It's a really nice entry, would love to see me!

Nyctophobia by TheJohnyFeeD 2021-04-27T19:46:44Z

What a great entry! It felt really well polished and had a great atmosphere. I found melee combat a little tricky at first, but once I got the hang of it I really enjoyed it! Some tense moments a great soundtrack. Overall a fantastic job and an enjoyably tense experience! Well done!

In Too Deep by RefraX295 2021-04-28T19:58:07Z

I enjoyed the game a lot! there was a nice ramp in difficulty as time progressed which caught me out originally, I had to rethink my strategy and start placing more turrets (especially when the larger enemies came). Would be nice to have a variety of turrets, maybe more expensive but stronger ones in a future version, but at the same time it didn't need it. Overall a really nice game entry that was fun to play!

Subterplane by Bigbadbison 2021-04-28T20:14:45Z

This was really fun and a great entry! I enjoyed the controls as they had that perfect mix of being tight to control, but still fair which made it addictive! Nice mechanics and well put together, nice job!

Deep Jam by MadR 2021-04-27T20:21:13Z

This was really hard but I enjoyed it a lot! I love the hand drawn pen style and you did a great job keeping to the theme! I also really like how it's based around developing a game in c#, it worked really well! Nice game and a fun entry, well done!

Don't hit anything by Martinek 2021-04-28T20:23:45Z

Challenging and fun! I really liked the art style and it felt very polished! Would have been nice to have a highscore to add more replay value, but it was fun none the less! Great job!

LD49 — Unstable

Unstable Worlds by Ekilibr 2021-10-06T12:29:45Z

St. Eugene the Resolute by bwalter 2021-10-05T21:13:04Z

Tough, addictive and funny! I really enjoyed playing and had a good laugh; I could honestly play all night!! Congrats on a great entry, it's very fun :)

Karawan by Rongo Matane 2021-10-06T12:20:58Z

What a gorgeous game, one of my favourites so far! The visuals are gorgeous and it has a great gameplay loop. Honestly the level of polish is mindboggling. The audio fits the game well (apart from stutter during a scene change), but sounds great overall. The tutorial was clear, concise and integrated into the gameplay so well that you hardly notice the tutorial is there.

It's difficult, but feels fair and I feel like I improved on my second playthrough. You have made a fantastic game, please expand it and make a full commercial release; it would be an instant buy from me! Great job!

Unstable Hospital by LittleDaimon 2021-10-06T17:33:36Z

I really liked the concept for this, it's fun to play but the lack of feedback did make it challenging! I liked the UI and how the instructions were presented. It took a moment to get my head around what to do, but I had fun when I figured it out!

Overall a really great game idea that stood out as being unique. With a bit of extra polish to help make patients and their needs easier to distinguish, it could be a game I'd see myself playing! Congrats on a great entry, I enjoyed it :)

Take stuff the game by Ayced 2021-10-05T21:43:29Z

Now this is a fantastic entry that really made me laugh, I particularly love how you can move walls! It's a fun twist on the stealth game genre and has a well thought out tutorial! honestly it's a lot of fun and I really want to see a commercial version of the game made, it's the type of game I could see myself playing for hours!

It's a great entry, well done! :D

Ciftlik Bar by gord10ahmet 2021-10-06T17:26:37Z

I enjoyed my time with this! It was challenging, but fun!

I do wish there was some indication for who is about to leave, as I kept losing track of who ordered when. However, it did feel very chaotic (which is a good thing).

I really liked the voice acting and how all the characters call out for drinks, it made me laugh and worked well! Overall an enjoyable experience and great entry, well done! :)

Block fight by antoined73 2021-10-05T21:26:10Z

What a fun idea! You definitely recreated that feeling of building blocks as a child; I was definitely that kid that loved to break their tower after building it! The building mechanics felt slick and intuitive. The visuals look great and the music really helps sell add to the fun/playful atmosphere of the game! The only critique I have is the appearance of the ball gun (a minor issue), but the rest of the game is very well polished!

Congrats on a great entry; I'd love to see an expanded commercial version in the future! :)

Hunger Of The Elder Slime by JohnLee Cooper 2021-10-05T22:44:03Z

This is a great game, I had a lot of fun playing! The art looks so good and on the whole everything just felt really polished. It's cute, with a solid gameplay look that kept me hooked. The sounds and music compliment the gameplay giving (as mentioned by others) an overall very chill experience.

I'd love to see this expanded and maybe put out as a mobile game? I'd certainly play it

Congrats on a great entry, I enjoyed it a lot :)

Firstly, this just looks amazing! Absolutely love the style and the parallax effect on the background made it feel even better! I enjoyed exploring the ship and it was experiencing the story. The camera felt a little clunky at times, but apart from that it was an extremely polished experience.

Congrats on a great game entry, I enjoyed it a lot :)

The OffScreen by Hunk 2021-10-05T11:56:51Z

Such a great concept and executed really well! Playing the game on a screen, set within a 3D world helped sell the 30's theme and elevated the concept a lot; It's a unique twist and I can't say enough good things about the visual style. I particularly like the 3D objects in the background reflecting how 'unstable' everything was as it progressed.

The game fit the theme well and was fun! I also love the original rayman and recognized the sound effects right away; a great choice and a nice hit of nostalgia. Well done on a great entry! :)

ŮNSTÅBLĒ by Dominium11 2021-10-05T21:33:02Z

This is so fun and full of 'game-feel'! The interactions are juicy, challenging and there is just so much feedback that it feels amazing to play. It's well polished, fits the theme well and quite addictive; I'll definitely be returning to beat my highscore.

I'd love to see this made into a mobile game, well done! :)

Unstabled Goat by Marc-Antoine Girard 2021-10-06T16:57:15Z

Challenging and fun! I love the games visuals and the intro camera work looks so slick! Like others, I originally thought I was supposed to control the cart, but once I figured it out I really enjoyed the game. It felt polished, and the soundtrack fit the game really well!

Congrats on a great entry! :)

This is so polished and fun to play! Definitely one of the most complete games I've played. The controls, visuals and sound all work so together so well to create a great experience that fits the theme. A lot went into this and it really paid off!

Watch your step by Haematite 2021-10-05T20:35:41Z

A challenging but fun concept! I really love how movement is similar to playing snake, it makes you plan out each move and how you tackle each level/room. The art style is consistent, polished and cute; a really satisfying look that compliments the gameplay well!

I'd love to see this developed further! Currently it's very tough to play, but with some work this could be a really enjoyable commercial game. Congrats on a great entry; I enjoyed it a lot :)

What an original and fun concept. The difficulty progression felt really balanced, progressively becoming more chaotic as you learn to play. It's really unique and is one of the most polished games I've seen this LudumDare. The art looks fantastic and the game is full of atmosphere

Congrats on a fantastic entry!

What a great idea! I love this take on the theme and had a lot of fun playing. I really like how the fly swatter can kill enemies as well as the player - it made me take risks. Loved the fly sound too - Great job!

@blacklambert Thanks for pointing out the win screen not showing. I've uploaded a small patch which resolves the issue, as well as the accumulating sound issue.
