Nice idea, it certainly is interesting seeing the concept of "deep" taken to space mixing it with deep diving. Simple art but everything fits well together. Loved the screen effects too. HS: 250

Love the game!

I could play it for hours

Art style reminded me old telephone games!

Nice work

Good game! What I liked: interesting mechanics, nice music and artwork. Where I think the game can be improved: the game is fairly easy, gradual acceleration would be a nice addition. Overall good job! [The highscore number on screenshot is intentional. I am so much adult :)]

Nice! I like the simple art style and you've incorporated it really cleanly into the webpage as well! Music loop was a little bit short so it got a bit repetitive after a while so it would have been nice to have some diversity but all said I had fun with it!

Really nice Itch page. I got 961 :)

The screenshake after any bullet lands got old. The game didnt really ramp up difficulty so I stopped playing, but great job making a complete small game

Enjoyed the art and gameplay! With a little bit more content it could be something very cool. The song got a bit repetitive and the difficultly never really changed, but cool nonetheless! Good job :) Also that itch page is fantastic!

Its that type of game that makes me feel I had made that. Nicely done!

treslapin 2021-04-27 08:37

The game is really smooth! I like the color palette, very minimal and nice.

dorkulon 2021-04-27 08:40

Great work on this! Something that would be cool to explore is a physics-based approach where the player is actually tethered to a rope (à la Worms’ ninja rope)

vanleiden 2021-04-27 08:57

Really neat mechanic! The shooting feels super satisfying and the art style is perfect for this sort of game. Great job!

myline-media 2021-04-27 09:12

Very good game. I liked the original control.

koroshi 2021-04-27 11:35

The art is simple but the choice of color make it really cool and the gameplay is really fun and is just the right difficulty plus the itch io page look really good !

fribolin 2021-04-27 12:33

This is just the perfect game to play in a few minutes spare. Some difficulty progression would be great. Maybe the camera could accelerate, the further you get down. Just an idea though

A nice little game that I can easily see myself killing time trying to beat my high score on. The theme also feels really nice and I'd love to see how this would work on something like mobile. My only criticism would be the shooting, I think it'd be neat to have you use the arrow keys for moving and the mouse to aim in a different direction. Overall though a sweet entry!

This is great It reminds me of some of the old NewGrounds, Miniclip, and flash games I grew up on mixed wit the stylings of older Gameboy games !

Great music and overall audio , You nailed the simple to pick up hard to master vibe , and what an awesome way to incorporate the theme to make for a core game mechanic focused on procedural content !

Excellent work !

Nice use of a limited art palette! The bullet hitting wall screenshake was a bit much, thought it was a monster spawning at first heh.

pedro-miranda 2021-04-27 19:40

Really cool entry! Fun and simple, good job! If you could strap a difficulty progression like others said speed ramp up it would be awesome!

Great entry!

petrroll 2021-04-27 19:56

Love the artstyle and idea. Would be interesting if the thread / rope interacted with the environment and somehow influenced your movement :).

bernardex 2021-04-27 19:59

Heyoo! This was fun to play! Congrats on your entry!! The art style is really tight and well implemented, along with the 8 bit music made me feel like playing an old (yet new) Gameboy Color game. I struggled a little bit with the aiming and moving with the same input (mouse movement)... I think that the addition of a "precise aim" hotkey would benefit the gameplay (like "space bar", so you can only aim while not moving). But also not having it made the experience feels unique. Loved the art style on itch.io page, very original! Good job everyone!

ditam 2021-04-27 20:07

Cute little title, very polished, well done!

On one hand, I love the minimalistic control scheme where the mouse controls both the aim and the movement. And it certainly works well enough, and it's such a core mechanic that it's easy to accept. However, it is a bit annoying in practice, it is very hard to aim close to yourself, or aim "intuitively" without moving. Maybe I would have preferred to play with a more conventional arrows + mouse aim setup.

What a beautiful game! Really awesome art work and game feel. The only problem I found is that the enemies were way too few and far between. But seriously awesome art work and the music was cool too. Great job!

taikinaaa 2021-04-28 13:18

Very cool little game! Nice art and music. I wish there were more sound effects, for example when you're shooting your gun.

alina-baybulatova 2021-04-28 16:26

Great graphic and soudtrack! I have really fun to play this game)) Thank you!

paulhocker 2021-04-29 16:51

this was a perfect game for the jam. the controls were simple and it was very fun. my only complaint is that the enemies could fly thru the walls and it was not easy to see them. really good game. thanks for making it.

martinek 2021-04-29 17:41

Amazing graphics, I really enjoyed this one!

felo07 2021-05-10 23:13

I really enjoy the game, I just missed more enemies, It was too many empty space, and nothing to do, just dodging. Buts a great game, nice graphics and sounds! =)

neontropics 2021-05-15 13:29

Nice Faller game! Controls felt good and it was satisfying moving past the wall shooters. After a while it had a bit of weirdmix of being a bit easy generally, but also since you die on a single hit it felt a bit random if I made it through a section or not.
