Magic Takes Root by PeculiarCarrot 2021-04-27T11:07:31Z

This game is just amazing. It feels so well polished and the mechanics are somewhat innovative and super interesting. But I think the best thing about this game are all the little details everywhere.

Reel Deep by frenchie 2021-04-29T19:37:29Z

Unbenannt.PNG How could I resist to get this, just to brag with it XD I loved the gameplay, it was really addicting. Just the idea that you have to bring back up what you caught was genius, it really gave the gameplay another dimension. The music also did a good job at conveying this feeling of rush. All in all, just an amazing game, an endless mode would have been cool, but absolutely not neccesarry for a game jam. Very good job

Deep Team by crucknuk 2021-04-29T19:57:56Z

The concept of the game was pretty cool. An introduction to the mechanics would have been nice, but I figured it out pretty fast. But I got to the point, were all my workers got promoted and no one worked anymore. I also couldn't hire more people. Maybe you should add the possibility to not promote someone or expand your team. Besides that, great game, the graphics and animations were adorable. I managed to reach level 32

Humble Miner by west 2021-04-28T14:08:57Z

I really like the concept of the game. A feature I thought about while playing was some kind of map, so you wouldn't get lost. But I also would enjoy "drawing" on the map by digging tunnels. Another thing that could help with the atmosphere in my opinion is yellow light. But I really enjoyed playing the game.

Just Fishin' by Antti Haavikko 2021-04-29T14:56:12Z

I very much loved the graphics. There was something about the blinking of the character, that was really cute. In my opinion the prizes were a bit high for a game jam, but besides that, it was great.

Greedig by Nilodree 2021-04-27T07:27:34Z

I'm very sorry, but I couldn't move and therefore not really play your game. I tried WASD and Arrow keys. Is this game only for game pad or something?

Eldorado by MateusGauto 2021-04-27T11:18:54Z

I really liked this game. The Artstyle and mechanics were really cool. Maybe an easier introductionlevel would have been nice to learn about all the mechanics. But this way, I am now an expert in dodging the canons. By the way, what is the button right at the beginning? I couldn't figure out what it was.

Bumpysphere by bassguitarbill 2021-04-29T20:06:10Z

It took a while to get used to the mechanics. But all in all a fun game. It was nice to kinda get talked through it all, it made the objectives more fun.

Excavatorade - A game about digging by Boxman 2021-04-27T08:03:15Z

I played it to the end, because I loved the mechanic for breaking the rocks. It was somehow really satisfying. But the falling spikes were frustrating for me, because I couldn't dodge them whatsoever. If you expand a bit on the digging, it would be a very satisfying game. Thanks

Go Deep! by Ricna 2021-04-28T17:21:16Z

Very Fun game. The voicelines were pretty sweet. Maybe an increasing difficulty would be a good idea, I managed to get to 1500 pretty easily and then I just dropped because it was getting repetitive. Still had a good few minutes of fun playing it. Thank you. Btw. how old is your son?

Descend by DevParty 2021-04-28T18:06:23Z

The simple controls really got me. But you can't just tease a secret at the end, make me fight through that "boss-fight" and then just give me that. At least make the text go by slower, I can't read that fast ;) It still is a great game.

WordGeddon by DevMerlin 2021-04-27T15:17:14Z

took me a minute to figure out, that I don't need to use all letters. After that, fun game, I had my problems wiht not being a native english speaker, but I still played a few rounds on medium difficulty. Some soundeffects would have been nice, maybe a little music track. Those two things can go a long way in giving the player a feel of stress.

Alien Abyss by Tom Stephenson 2021-04-27T12:33:59Z

This is just the perfect game to play in a few minutes spare. Some difficulty progression would be great. Maybe the camera could accelerate, the further you get down. Just an idea though

Sewage Surfer by fachscahfttf 2021-04-28T17:43:58Z

This game was just amazing to play. The only flaw I found was that sometimes the game generated two barriers next to each other and I couldn't pass them. But maybe that was just me. And I can only add: collectables and skins XD

Diggy Diggy Dwarf 2 : Deeper & Deeper by Rujum 2021-05-03T13:19:44Z

The game is pretty cool and it's amazing that you were able to make somewhat of a strategy-game. At least a game where the player has to think. What I really missed was a tutorial though. The mechanics aren't that hard, but it still took me a while to figure things out. I don't know if I had pushed through that if it wasn't a game jam. At first I didn't even notice the mining room, because it was under all the locked rooms. Besides the missing tutorial, the game was great to play, you can really sink your teeth into it.

Deep Way To Basement by Usenrame 2021-04-27T11:38:11Z

I feel like with a few more upgrades, this could make a great mobile game. Although I think with a little more work, the prototype could have made for an amazing puzzle-game.

Deep Way To Basement by Usenrame 2021-04-27T11:39:00Z

oh, and I wanted to add, that items would be great, to spice up the falling even more.

10,001 - A space exploration game by tengusheath 2021-04-27T08:25:16Z

The exploration-part of the game was hooking. I would have loved to explore even more, but the wide spaces were a bit too wide ;). I know that it's hard to put in that much content in a game jam, so that is not really a problem. It would be great to have more locations with little texts and information, maybe revealing a bit more about what happened here. I would really enjoy slowly exploring the history of the world this way. And just a little thing at the end: I almost overlooked the monolith, maybe make it stand out a bit more :)

Clean The Ocean by DariushF 2021-04-27T07:42:28Z

It took me a while to find the shop too, but I found it and it improves the gameplay a lot. Maya you should make it more clear to the player, where to find the shop. The Graphics were amazing and the little cutscene was very cute. I just don't understand, why you would shoot fish, while cleaning the ocean? XD

Journey for Wife by Drew Long 2021-04-28T14:35:58Z

I probably played this game longer than I should have. It is really fun and challenging. I don't know if you've ever heard of the term coyote time, but I think it would help make the game far less frustrating ;) I really loved the cutscene in the middle, although I didn't know the game continued after that at first. A little cutscene at the end would have been nice too, but I guess the timelimits forbid that. Great game

Deep Pocket Digs by ChrisAP 2021-04-27T07:15:55Z

The concept of the game was amazing. I liked the drilling mechanics although I couldn't figure out how to really start the drilling. Sometimes it stopped immediatly and sometimes I couldn't stop drilling down. But still, great game, cute artwork ;)

The Final Journey by kernon 2021-04-27T06:55:20Z

In a way, the gameplay was really relaxing for me. The controls felt pretty good. I was a bit thrown of by the mines knocking you back up. The Ending is a bit sad, but a good ending.

Congrats on finishing your first game.

Extreme Pizza Delivery by nicholassoen 2021-04-28T17:32:58Z

The Idea was pretty good. I liked that the Pizza had a health bar and you wouldn't just loose if you got hit. Maybe if you got the time, you could make slices of the pizza disappear when it's health goes down. Just as a fun indication of the decreasing health.

Running Late by Andreia 2021-04-29T18:56:50Z

The concept of the game and the graphics were pretty cool. Especially the UI was well designed and told me what I needed to know. For me, the grabbing mechanic was way too hard. Even on easy-mode I needed 5 attempts to get what I need. Speaking of easy-mode, I love that you put in a selection for difficulty. That's almost always a good idea and I'm thankful you implemented it.

LD51 — Every 10 seconds

Gigabite by CocaPasteque 2022-10-03T18:12:26Z

Very nice game. Graphics, sound, everything was there and made the game feel very complete. I think the difficulty curve is a bit steep for a highscore-game, but I gave my best.

Maybe get rid of the Quit Button in the HTML-Export, it makes the game freeze :)

10 Second Tower Defense by seurimas 2022-10-09T18:48:51Z

Very good game idea (and I say that completely unbiased, having made a game with similar concept in my last jam XD) and the minimalistic art style completely worked for me. The limited ammo was new thing to me, but it helps make planning much more complicated.

One improvement I would like to see is a better tutorial. The tutorial itself was great, but there was no time to read the text, maybe pause the game while showing the text.

Kaboomer! by 0x01F0 2022-10-09T07:34:45Z

The tense feeling and amazing looks and sound really felt great. Still, I had to put the game down after like 4 rounds. The controls were quite hard and I think it didn't help that I had what felt like latency when looking around. It got really frustrating when I stood right next to the bomb, unable to pick it up or throwing it against a wall because I was still turning even though I stopped moving my mouse.

Besides that, great game and I think with a little bit of tweeking on the controls it would be amazing.

Kaboomer! by 0x01F0 2022-10-09T10:31:12Z

@0x01f0 16GB RAM, Geforce GTX 960 Intel Core i7 All not the newest, but still working for most games. Graphics drivers were actually old, but I updated them and it didn't really change.

While playing again I noticed something off with the menus. The How to play is also in the in game menu and I'm not sure if it is supposed to be there.

Divide and Democratize by KOHCEPBA 2022-10-11T10:11:57Z

I loved the idea of analyzing, what to pick. And I don't think it had actually any mechanics, but it was cool to see what other politicians voted for and then siding with them. If it isn't, please make that a mechanic. The ending really made me sad, but that's the point I guess. Great game, not much to say.

Except maybe change the colors of people. Green and Red is a bit hard to see for me ;)

Iridesert by homeworld 2022-10-07T11:42:22Z

The game felt so good and polished, but it was also quite complex. I think a Tutorial would be nice, where the cards are gradually unlocked and everytime the game pauses and explains how to use the card. Took me quite a while to understand how to get wood. Your Tutorial on the page was very helpful, but having it in the game and splitting it up to make it more digestible would be even better.

Besides that, I had a blast playing your game, thank you ;)

10 second base by Stratcat66 2022-10-04T18:31:03Z

It took me quite a bit of time to get used to the controls, but it's actually quite clever to just use the movement as a way of building as well. Seems like on Game Over the game just froze for me, not a big deal since I was done playing anyway, just keep it in mind ;)

Gold Collex Hex Defense by Solrun 2022-10-21T16:14:54Z

Thanks to @glenugie for explaining what I had to do. Once I figured it out, it was really fun, but getting started without any help is impossible. If you wanna keep working on this game, please put some work into an actual tutorial. The gold-dragging mechanic felt great and having the enemies just take away gold made it much more relaxed. I noticed that I was able to build towers on top of other towers, just wanted to let you know in case you didn't notice yet :)

Gastronauts by MateusBoga 2022-10-07T09:36:17Z

Just completely amazing, I played this for waaaay to long. For some reason, the "how to play" as a photo of some notes really got me laughing. I can't stress enough how funny that game was. Please expand on this and just pack even more humor into this XD

I would have liked to get some more info for the ingredients, because I couldn't really figure it out myself, but I don't even care, I just loved it.

And I'm repeating myself :)

Autumn Valley by ChuChuGeralt 2022-10-13T17:44:34Z

Beautiful game and very relaxing. The music really fit to that. I played for like 40 minutes and had a lot of fun. One thing I would like to see improved would be the roads and roadsystem. Being able to make roads go through other buildings was weird and allowed for huge star-formations. Having to plan the layout and make room for roads with enough capcity would add another layer of long term thinking to it. Anyways, I'm just trying to come up with ideas for improvements. I really really liked it.

Night At The Orphanarium by michaelaranda 2022-10-08T12:55:44Z

Simply a great game, music, sound, graphics, everything felt done and polished. Two things though... The stress of cutting down trees is very high, but it doesn't feel good to not collect the stake afterwards because of the fast movement-mechanics. Maybe the collection of the wood after cutting down the trees should be a little more convenient. Second, I noticed a lot of children getting taken, even though I had only one left. Is that on purpose because there are more children and this is just the number I am allowed to lose?

I just want to say again, very polished game, I had a lot of fun

Starmony by bamberga 2022-10-07T08:17:49Z

A very relaxing game and the music just fits perfectly to that. The relaxing and satisfying nature was just what I needed right now. Two things I want to mention: - I didn't understand what button I needed for the second star-cannon, so I just tried out everything. The symbol didn't help me. - Sometimes the stars would get stuck in corners, that was disappointing

Still, everything else was just great and I loved it

HydroRobia by JoeShanahan 2022-10-07T09:07:55Z

The 3D Puzzle with time pressure was great, but the controls were really unforgiving. Besides the very slippery movement, what was up with the slopes? I got so slow walking up the slopes and then suddenly ran forward when getting to the top, making me fall down again. The character-model was really great :)

Stuck gun by mira 2022-10-06T15:13:19Z

The variety of enemies was amazing, they were all so "cute". In general, this game had so many small little things that made it a great game. One thing I was missing a bit was a little more indication, when my weapon was about to fire. Keeping track of that was a challenge while also running from enemies

Sailing through life by Chase of Bass 2022-10-07T08:26:56Z

I don't want to repeat to much of the other comments, but one thing I wanted to add :) I really wished that you could turn the ship around, like under the sea. So that when I tilt the sea to 90°, something magical could happen.

Idk, don't listen to me, I just enjoyed it :)

Frozen Forest by seanjordan 2022-10-11T12:54:15Z

Took me a while to figure out my strategy, but then it was very fun. Hopping from fire to fire, collecting a bit of wood and then running to the next best spot while hopefully still collecting some wood on the way was just the right amount of stressful.

I entered the green area and build a fire there, then I didn't know what to do. It was only when I tried to build a second fire on the black spot that I won. That was confusing, maybe you could do something about that.

Kangaroo Court by Celtican 2022-10-11T13:52:24Z

I loved this game and all the little quirks of the cases. I know you couldn't really do anything about the 10 seconds window and I was grateful for the bonus-time, but as a non-native speaker, it was really hard keeping up. Understanding isn't a problem for me, just reading at the necessary speed wasn't possible. Also very nice to not give the information directly. I especially liked the Koala being accused of eating meat if I remember correctly. Of course it is obvious, but with the pressure it got me. Art was great, the sounds were great, the cases and characters were amazing, what more is there to say? I loved it.

Foodmnesia by naplz 2022-10-07T07:38:09Z

Personally I found the game a bit hard and even though I loved the sliding around mechanic, it didn't make it easier. The first time I played, I didn't even know, what to do. I understood the walking around and the collecting things, but it took me a while to figure out that I need to bring it to the counter. Felt a bit dumb there :) Maybe put that hint next to the controls or put a waiting cusomer to the counter. Another thing that would have made it a little easier for me are some bigger hitboxes. Being able to deliver the dishes on the side of the counter still makes sense and would prevent players from getting stuck there. Even though I am pointing some things out here, I just wanna make clear that I very much enjoyed your game and am just searching for ways I would try to improve it. Great game!

PS: You should take the exit button out of the Web-Export. It just freezes the game

Let Them Eat Cake by JacobRutter 2022-10-11T12:30:23Z

Very simple concept, yet quite addicting gameplay. The controls felt very good and the game felt quite balanced. I wished there were a few more special items. Not in variety, just in quantity :)

Lavalette by Fribolin 2022-10-09T10:34:11Z

@willoxs Thank you for your input. We are gonna play around with switching it up and seeing if it makes it feel better for other players as well.

Stoked by Alexzoin 2022-10-07T08:56:04Z

@ryusui I encountered the same problem. Firefox on Windows in my case. The graphics were looking good, but I couldn't access the shop or anything. And the seekers kept my flame up, I don't know if that is intended

Thirsty Vampire by mcmuniz 2022-10-07T11:29:04Z

Fun little game, although very hard for me as a non-expert :) Maybe try to adjust the difficulty a bit, by for example: - resetting the full 10 seconds everytime you suck blood - showing the green arrow (very helpful by the way) directly above the person - making people stand still after you tested them

All just ideas, I had fun, thank you ;)

Ten-Second Teleport by RaXaH 2022-10-07T11:18:02Z

I don't want to repeat to much of the other comments, but here is one thing I want to point out: I really liked the text-boxes, especially in the beginning, giving me very much needed info and splitting the "Tutorial" up. Maybe you can implement a system, so that the Text doesn't pop up the third time I trigger it, because by that point, I have alredy read it and got the info.

Cheers

TicTacCat by Kerioth 2022-10-08T20:09:29Z

The Art-Style just blew me away. One thing that shouldn't be possible though: Me, just playing all the cards I can and then reloading with that little bit of blood it costs. No thinking, still winning. I have not much experience with card games, but you should probably do something against that playstyle.

I'll say it again, it has a cat, it looks amazing, great game.

Time: Cardmancer by AkaCMD 2022-10-07T11:08:30Z

If you plan on expanding it, please make an interactive tutorial about the game mechanics. It took me way to long to get started and I think I would have put the game down if it wasn't a game jam After that, it was a great game.

Moovement by AshCubed 2022-10-09T19:19:43Z

I have to agree with @gorr here, it was quite easy to just farm multiple minutes of time and then kill everything in one hit. Besides that it was a fun little game to play and I appreciate you not using green (I think) for the colorblinds. Although I still had a bit of problems with red and orange on the weapons.

every 10 seconds by goosegarden 2022-10-11T14:57:20Z

I really liked this one and was really jamming to the music, even though it was so simple. The player-model could have been a bit more interesting, but I know it was a game jam, so what really matters was the idea and that was great.
