i tried to play hearts of stone v1 and the main menu didnt work for some reason, the buttons didnt do anything
in the v2 i had the same problem but when clicked on the buttons it greyed out the buttons and simply said is loading... so i left it for half an hour but nothing changed(i dont have the best laptop but it shouldve ran it)
from the screenshots it looks really cool but since i couldnt play it i sadly cant judge it.
this really reminds me of my childhood playing super mario 64 one thing i would've liked is that you'd have to gather the first few apples and than carry them towards your backpack kinda how mario walked with the bomb in his hands =P

@fancyreckless thanks for the feedback! ill try to make the tutorial a little simpler aswell since it currently is just a wall of text.
@simone honestly same here but we havent done sound design before and with the time slowly running out we just decided to put it online, this might be a good time to start learning how to make music tho!
@dregs thanks we had alot of fun writing the events, on the ratio im having a little trouble but i am working on it, also im thinking of adding a small timer to the next month button so you cant accidentally double click it or maybe a small notification on the god mail program that you have received new mails.

nabo(the artist) is working on adding some pichforks to the villagers when they're angry and maybe something like party hats when they're happy.
the original plan was to have you go through different times based on your amount of followers so you would(for example) actually see your village change to communism just because you ignored an email xD but the longer we worked on it the more it became clear that wasnt happening for a while =P
its pretty fun but its really difficult, maybe make it easyer to ballance the chest on your head or maybe have it so that when standing still it will rebalance itself
its quite a fun game altho in the beginning i had a bit of trouble remembering what tiles were what(maybe add a button wich takes you back to the tutorial screen?) but luckilly i could just sell stuff untill i had a village on every tile other than that i encountered a problem where i couldnt move my troops anymore after a while.
other than that its a neat little game and i enjoyed the concept
i just keep comming back to this game, you should definitly update it since its really fun!
quite a fun game maybe instead of using buttons you can have it cicle through with the "q" and "e" button

Nice and silly concept, I found myself playing for 20 minutes making sure a fire that wasn't even started by me didn't go out.
I would've liked to see a "biggest contributor: name" next to who started the fire :)
It's fun, It is confusing at first but if you take a minute to really look at the cards it's really interesting what you can come up with.
enjoyed the game, took a bit to get used to the sensitivity of the world spin but other than that great job
I really enjoyed the peacefulness of it, the music was relaxing,
maybe put the name of the plant on the pot because i only knew which were the cacti but after making a mistake once i could see which ones i had to water or had to stop watering so i guess it isn't that necessary.

That was amazing,
You might want to give an indication that your friend can put branches on the fire if you press "spacebar"
or maybe not cause you can get the fire quite large by spamming it.
All that being said, this was an adventure to the point where i am amazed you finished this within jam-time.
Turns out the thing you see at the start of the game isnt some light chest it's a spacebar haha.
Played through it a second time and i'm slightly sad there isnt a random element, but that isn't a flaw but a suggestion.
But having so little time i highly doubt that would've gotten the same quality of game this is.
the i like the immense size of the hordes, the game is fun!
very fun game but the boar boss at the end either has too much health or his health resets if you go back to your camp, unsure which one but it's a bit too hard.
it can be killed people!
very interesting i really enjoyed trying to get different type of trees, not sure what singing did though, did it have an effect?
@duck-reaction Thank you for your feedback, I had wanted to slowly build up the difficulty by adding stages of growth to the cactus but due to some last minute bugs I only managed to put in small breaks(if you water the cactus the need for water wont go up for a couple of seconds).
I'm currently not sure what the memory leak could be but i'll have a look into it ^_^
i liked the controls however it takes quite a bit taking used to
it took a while to figure out how the map worked and aiming was a bit hard from far away.
that being said i enjoyed playing it once you figure out your orientation and where things are the game is alot of fun!
Oke honest question. Why did you code something you'd need a very specific program to even play it to begin with?
i loved the art style and the little "hmm?" if the little goblin looked at the door.
fun game, i loved the music, i would've liked if there was a more detailed player model though because it feels a tad out of place. that being said i thought the art was charming and had fun playing the game.
nice game, graphics are great, i first thought it could be played with wasd aswel as arrow keys so i was a bit confused. good job!
I liked the art, Maybe the countdown is a bit too fast early game but you get used to it, I enjoyed that it became pixelated at times so it'd be harder to know your target.
Unsure why but it doesn't load for me.(Edit never mind it started working)
the sound effects are a bit loud and like dianacalistru said i'm a bit sad that its just over after you beat the level.
fun game few bugs but it's good! made it to wave 103.
It's a fun concept but a little too random for my taste, God is a prick.
give it a proper tutorial and i think this would be great because after i went back and forth from tutorial to game when i understood it it was a really fun game!
fun little game i loved the pun a bit hard to beat the catapults.
your game is fun, i would've enjoyed it more if you gave the bullets some oomph. A little bit of knockback for example.
I really liked this. The only thing i'm annoyed by that your buddy dies ALOT. Or maybe my player just didn't care ;P
Really interesting idea my kid didnt want to do shet so i had to explain it a couple of times which is fair since it has my genes.
like oldknivestale said the only real thing that could be better imo is that you gotta restart all the way from the beginning.
Fun game, call me a noob because i was stuck on level one for 10 minutes, I just couldn't get the jump off of the moving platform.
But I enjoyed the music and the art was nice. I would add an easyer restart if i were you.
i was surprised how fun this game was i played till i had 700 coins. i don't have much to say except maybe put "F to shop" somewhere on the screen and have zombies enter a bit faster in the beginning,
other than that once it gets going it gets really fun, the assault rifle is great! personally less of a fan of the sniper.

It's a nice game, I would've enjoyed if there was a way to keep the plant happy and prolong the game(if there is I'm sorry i didnt catch it).
I would love if there was more of this, its alot of fun and feels rewarding.
The only thing I could note is that the monster strength seemingly doesnt increase(or not much) resulting in you wrecking every monster,
thinking you should be able to take the boss and then you proceed to get demolished by the boss(I did beat it on my second attempt)

Fun game, Got stuck in the first level by getting pushed on a wall by the experiments, then proceeded to fall into the closed room with the scientists.
Upon replaying I avoided this fate and had no further issues.
Interesting game but a bit short,
It took me a while before I noticed the coffee mug, maybe add a bit of a glow to objects you can interact with besides just the name popping up, although its not necessary it would help.
a few small minigames besides fetch quests like help fixing the pipes by arranging them the right way would have also made it more fun.
Took me a while to really get the hang of how to play but it is fun how they go about their work(once given a command),
An ingame explanation or a pause button would make it a lot easier.
