Liked it very much. Took me a second to process how it all worked, but the puzzles were very enjoyable afterwards!

I like the mechanic of freezing the projectiles. Nice job!
Super neat concept! Definitely ran around confused for a moment but once I figured it out I thought this game was super neat.
It took me longer than I'd like to admit to figure out how to make things happen properly (I spent a while just trying to climb by jumping on my own shots), but this was rad once it clicked!
@pandaderzwote Glad you liked it! We wanted to tutorialize the gameplay more but ran out of time to do so haha
@stipple3d Thank you!
@tyler-roberts You were not alone in being confused, that's on us  Thanks for playing!
@mathemagician Thanks for playing! We had intended to have a puzzle around using the orb climbing mechanic, but couldn't come up with a fun one so I removed it (or so I thought... )
The movement was weird to me because when I stopped moving I would go a little more, but other than that, great job!
@crazykittens-892-yt Thanks for playing! Yeah there were definitely a few minor issues we would have liked to iron out if we had a bit more time!
I liked the puzzles! And I loved the whooshy orb sound effect and chime of the crystals. I spent a couple minutes at the exit trying the exit door was another crystal I needed to move until I bumped into it by mistake, a win is a win.
Very fun puzzle game, I found that I was unable to shoot my blue ball after tabbing into and out of the controls screen. Very intriguing puzzles and over all a really nice experience! Great work on this
This was a very fun experience, and I really liked the puzzles. After the first crystal it was always very clear *what* I had to do, and the fun challenge was always figuring out *how* to do it.
Do you happen to be using Input.GetAxis() in your movement? If so, once upon a time I read that GetAxisRaw is better for platforming movement because it doesn't pad the frames before and after you release like GetAxis does. That might help with the floaty movement problem, or I could be way off
@volt450 The last puzzle was the last one we made so didn't spend as much time on playtesting it, glad you were able to complete it anyway!
@kel Hmm that's odd, might be a result of porting to HTML5... We were going to use F1 to open the controls at first but noticed that opened a support/help tab in chrome, so could be a similar problem with the tab key. Thanks for playing!
@loginaut Ah yes that is what we use! It had the benefit of a more "acceleration"-feel to the initial movement but with the drawback of not stopping immediately after releasing the axis, might change that if we make any changes to the game  Glad you enjoyed the puzzles!
so cool mechanics with ball, that you can stop or push. I like this one)
@killryusha Thanks! Glad you liked it! :)
At the beginning it's hard to guess what we have to do. But after trying everything it become obvious. I enjoyed play your game and it would be nice to have more puzzles. Good job :)
@lorwon Yeah we considered throwing in some kind of explanatory text in the introduction part at the very end of the jam but I decided against it as I felt kinda stressed and didn't want to introduce any last-minute bugs haha  Thanks sticking with it!
Took me a moment to figure out what to do, but I really enjoyed it once I figured out how the mechanic worked! It's a cool concept that could lead to plenty more exciting puzzles. The controls felt good and I especially liked how you added in a toggled menu for the controls. Great job on your entry :) !
@tom-stephenson Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! :)
Well it took me some time to see that if the ball stayed inside the box it kept it running. But when i found out it went well until i got stuck in a wall by being pushed upwards into it. it still was a good fun experience.
actually nice game, can't really get the theme but still gj!
Wow, I was amazed by the mechanic, brilliant idea!
My feedback: - Great mechanics - Nice clarity (interactable objects are colorful - Good level design and puzzle design
Some suggestions: - To help aiming, maybe consider adding a crosshair of some sort!
Great game anyways, thanks for the experience! :)
@hoeleboele Oh no! Guess we missed a spot where you could get stuck on a platform :( Glad you still had fun though!
@vsi- Thank you! Yeah the in the end theme ended up being just the setting and the "transitioning to a new area by jumping further down"
@guladam Yeah a crosshair was one of the things I mentioned several times while making the game, and still forgot to implement... Thanks for playing! :)
The mechanic is super cool, and you had some good puzzle ideas and introductory level design. Would love to see this fleshed out with some prettier graphics!
@gimmers Thanks for the feedback! Yeah might flesh this game out at some point and that is one of the things that would be on the list :)
I really enjoyed the puzzles! Excellent work. I also liked the sound effects when the crystals are being interacted with. Super cool stuff. Nice game.
@100th-coin Thanks a lot, glad you had a good time!
This was a pretty fun little puzzle game. The various ways that the ball could be positioned to start and stop doors, platforms, etc seemed pretty interesting and relatively intuitive once I sort of figured out how to control the ball.
I was a bit frustrated with how, often when I would try to activate a particular switch with the ball, I would click right when I heard the activation sound effect, but I would be too late as the ball would be immediately destroyed. I'm not sure exactly how to fix this--maybe when the ball hits the switch, there could be a window of a couple frames where, if the player clicks, the ball will teleport to where it entered the switch and lock its position there? I think that would make the game feel a lot better. I had to re-do the entire purple and orange door puzzle a couple times because I simply couldn't get the ball to stop on the purple switch.
That said, I enjoyed figuring out the puzzles even if the mechanic execution was a bit tough. I think traversing the environment is also a nice component of the game--I like having all the puzzles sort of in one big world.
I love the idea here, I think the mechanic is simple yet could be taken pretty far. Unfortunately there are just a lot of quality-of-life issues that are keeping me from enjoying it.
The main thing for me is that I need to be able to play without getting motion sickness. If you are making a first-person game, then I am going to need at least an FOV slider. A crosshair is also very helpful, and it would also help with aiming the orb.
Wish I could play more of this, but sadly I had to stop because I was feeling sick :slight_frown:
This is an awesome puzzle mechanic! And the level design is super cool. Reminds me a bit of Portal.
