Good game with a lot of polish!
What a well rounded game. Nice graphics, sound effects, funny narration and fun gameplay! Great work with this entry!
But there's only room for one western game in this here game jam, partner....
I thought that this was a clever core mechanic of what could be a great puzzle game, but it misses an undo button that this game could do with. I say this becuase having the movement cost action points only makes it so any moves done to think(at least how I play puzzle games) makes it so even if you solved the puzzle you mightn't reach the exit. Great puzzle game nonetheless!
There was a bug when an enemy got under my tower and I couldn't aim at it and the controls are a bit complicated. Other than that, it was an interesting game, I enjoyed it a good bit!
Like the look of the game but it was pretty difficult to protect the flower without dying yourself.
Damn I love your style so much. All your itch pages are a treat. Oh yeah the game was great too! Only gripe I have is that it isn't mixed up but that's standard for game jams.
A solid entry all round. Graphics and audio are pleasing and the gameplay is fun. Great job on this!
Great audio and visuals. It was a bit frustrating at times to move the slurpies with the platforms.
This is a well made game clearly with a lot of thought behind it. I found the gameplay loop to be entertaining. Unfortunately I felt overwhelmed by how much info is given at the start, this is the type of game that really needs a tutorial but it is a jam game and I learned the controls nonetheless. Pretty solid piece well done!
A really good looking game that complies with the theme. It's seems to be encouraged to just spam the action key while walking around one plot which isn't challenging. Great game!
The game was good and I really dig your artstyle man! More feedback would make the game even more fun, for example enemies and the player flashing white when getting hit. The arena was a bit small with the enemies and their numbers.
Really innovative mechanic. Felt that the difficulty curve was a bit too steep, it jumped up in difficulty right after the first two levels. Good visuals and audio.
Hard to grasp what's going on at first but after a while I started enjoying myself despite not really understanding the rules.
I'm not a really a fan of clickers but yours offers a lot of twists that I enjoy. Having upgrades that don't just increase the number per second but actually change up the gameplay a bit was refreshing. It's overall a well polished game!
The looks were really good, suited the tone. I thought the timer was a bit too long. Good game!
That was really fun. Loved how satisfying it was! Shame there wasn't any sound.
Cool main mechanic that suits the theme and it looked good too!
Super well made game its just a shame there isn't more!!
The game looks really good. More feedback when your attacked or enemies are attacked would be nice. Few instances of skeletons freezing right after spawning. Every time I tried to kill an enemy, they nearly always took a heart off me, which felt a little unfair.
Cool game with progression and good looking models.
I love it! Great Graphics
But really, good looking game and sound. I liked the potion making but the switches seemed too easy, you could just look at the colour of wire leading into the switch and light which defeated the purpose of having them jumbled?
Well put together game, the voiceover was funny, the art was great and the physics was fun!
Low poly aesthetic, forest ambiance and particle effects were pretty.
What a great looking game! Loved the aesthetic. Felt that it could've done with some enemies. Great work with this game, it deserves more ratings!
Love the artstyle and atmosphere. The mechanics were new and interesting. Some parts were way harder for me than others like the stretch between the first laser you see and the next checkpoint. Love the name too!
Great game with nice platforming mechanics!
Well polished game. What can I say it's really good, good job!
A game with a good mood, great work with this entry!
Very polished gameplay, great pixel art and animations and banging music. Great work!
Nice graphics and concept. The only thing I didn't like was the controls it felt a little stiff or confusing. I'm sure with enough practice I could get used to it though. Well done!
It pains me to say this partner, but there can only be one western themed game set on a steam locomotive with an outlaw on the loose. But I know when I've lost so I'll be on my way now... you deserve it partner. You nailed the western theme! Great game!
It's true to its name, that was very satisfying! Who knew one man could single-handedly increase the population and stimulate the economy of a small town.
Great game in all seriousness. Pretty funny (especially that secret). Only complaint is that some sounds like the car engine were a bit too loud.
Congrats on your first game! I hope you don't mind me giving feedback because it's your first time.
The game is a bit too easy. After I learned the controls I collected as many apples as possible and just stood feeding the horse when he needs them. Instead of allowing the player to collect as many apples as possible, maybe only let them pick 1 or 3 or 5 apples to hold at once? A counter showing the player's held apples could be nice too.
I wish you luck on your game dev journey!!
Surprising to see how much you managed to accomplish in such a short time. The selection screen was confusing at first like @sanicspeedgames said, but the sheer amount of weapons was pretty cool. I also liked the dude over the intercom.
Having your escort be the light is interesting but I feel like they should've followed you a bit closer instead of you going completely into the dark without light and getting shot at. The game's hard. I got killed a minute into the game, I feel like that is a bit too difficult. They can also get stuck behind walls.
I really dig the look! I think a score counter and sound fx would be nice but it's a good entry nonetheless!
Cool stealth game. I like the sneaky walk cycle.
The game has great art and pretty tight controls, sometimes the friction was a bit floaty. Coyote time (which isn't completely necessary for a jam game) could've been nice for platforming. The foreground pieces were a nice touch but blocked the view of the next platform in some cases. You were also able to move before the respawn transition faded. All these are minor things and normal for jam games but could be nice for a post jam update! Great entry!
Very clean look and the gameplay is really fun. The music got me pumped to bulldoze the homes of innocent civilians!
The graphics were good as well as the audio. The enemies spawn very quick after a short time as I was getting used to the rules and I was quickly overwhelmed by spiders. Good adherence to the them, well done!
I liked the game a lot. Understood it pretty quickly and I found it fun. I kept thinking that the vampires would come out of their coffins to add extra challenge, bit of a missed opportunity.
Good game with a nice aesthetic, felt that the player's movement was a bit floaty. Nice entry!
@lykawolfie Sure, it was a bit vague of me. By floaty I meant that the time between releasing the button (left or right) and the player coming to a complete stop was long. Typically for platformers, you want snappy movement. There can be a bit of accerlation and deceleration but it normally takes less than a second or two to completely stop.
Loved the music and overall look of the game. Liked how different shapes had different behaviours, personal fav is the pentagon. Few bugs like seeing out the world on the right side of the map. Nice game!
I felt the difficulty could've been toned down a bit. Either by giving the player more room to work with or making the cup more forgiving. It's a clever idea though. The sound effect for losing is a bit loud..
This game has great style! I liked its casual vibe, it wasn't too much pressure to get the hands and feet but it wasn't easy either!
Nice puzzle game. I feel the levels could be a little longer so you could fully utilise the entire field.
@dzugaru Thanks for playing! The amount you get for mature crops are exactly half of the peak mature ones. Either way that amount is multiplied by a combo factor :)
Short and sweet. A really tightly tuned game with no major flaws. I especially liked how the track got more energetic around the half way point, a nice little bit of adaptive music which is ambitious for a jam game! Well done :)
The Player controller looks really clean and controls well. I found the game really hard, I'm immediately overrun with enemies in the first 10 seconds.
Congrats on publishing a finished game 5 hours before the deadline! It's a solid gameplay loop. I'm not a fan of having to constantly switch tools by using the mouse, it gets really tedious, really fast. I found that the difficulty spikes really sharply eventually and I was just overrun. Nice game.
This is a charming little game that I found myself playing for longer than I thought. I really like how you can only build up to terraces from below but you cannot go down wherever you want, stopped me from straying too far. The world gen suits the gameplay really well. The graphics are simple but pleasing. The game doesn't do a lot of explaining but I liked experimenting but I had to glance at the Controls section a good few times which took me out of it. Overall solid entry :)
Really good art, the character animation is really charming. That's how I'd describe this game as a whole, Charming! Congratulations on this submission :)
It's a solid racing game, I especially like the jiggy music in the background. It fits the game perfectly. I think a more dynamic camera would be nice, for example it lagging behind the player to give a sense of speed and also putting the centre of the screen in front of the player to show where you're heading. This would be handy in spotting those cows as I found that they popped out of nowhere.
This game has a really cute aesthetic, I love the art you've made for this! I felt the movement was pretty floaty and the enemies were pushovers.
The art for this game is really really well done. I felt the boomerang was hard to control and ended up just spamming it without any thought. I think the walls just get in the way and the player should be punished instead for randomly throwing the boomerang when it hits the explosive enemies. The zombie plants are pushovers as well, I didn't mind when they bump me around a little bit. Congratulations on submitting a finished game :)
