HEAL ME PLZ by Pietro Ferrantelli 2020-04-22T22:23:19Z
Great game, finished it on my first try! it's pretty difficult to heal teammates without accidentally healing their opponents instead though.

Great game, finished it on my first try! it's pretty difficult to heal teammates without accidentally healing their opponents instead though.
really pretty, but really difficult game
It isn't clear to me how to play the game. what do I do? what are the controls?
Edit: I can't see any menu, I guess the webbuild doesn't work correctly on my pc/browser
Very polished little game. Looks nice and plays well. Small complaint is that there isn't really any point in getting a new weapon when you have a decent one, as you're more likely to get a bad one then. Wouldn't it make more sense to have the different weapons switch to pistol after a while? (as is common with powerups in shootemups and the like)
I finished it! With only 1 boat remaining though. It controls very smoothly and I like the style, great job! My only remark is that the ships are rather far apart, and it's hard to tell what's going on offscreen. But I had fun with it, good game!
Nice little game. Best polish I've seen yet!
It seems really cool, but it's impossibly hard. After a few tries, I just started running away to one side, trampling everything without even shooting anything. That seems to be the best strategy, but I doubth that was your intention. Still, nicely done! With some tweaking I'm sure it could be really great! I love the concept, the intro, and the keeps legs!
Edit: after trying some more, I started using the upgrades and started shooting a bit more (still mostly running though), the different enemies are fun. Good job!
Fun little management game, works quite well!
fun little game!
Looks really nice and a rather original concept. However, it's quite difficult to know where exactly to place the bodyguards, and timing is also rather difficult. (I've never gotten past the 2nd bullet, and even the first took a lot of tries, the grenades are easier though)
It is definately the most unique game I've played in Ludum Dare 46! But it's also the most frustrating one! it need some more balancing, as in a couple of seconds, 30min work can be undone by bad luck
This was actually really fun! I love that you can go inside houses and into bathtubs and toilets and everything! I wish it showed your distance and highscore or something after dieing though
Nice game, I even had some stuff left when I won!
Haha, you made a horror game out of the "strength"-pokemon minigame. The movement is kinda sluggish, and it could benefit from a reset level button, but overal a nice puzzle game.
I love the game boy aesthetic and soundtrack! the gameplay is good and I absolutely love the cannon. Great job!
Nice little game. But after a while the music stops, and at level 40 the dragon suddenly disappears  The jumping seems rather random, what's the logic behind it? All in all, for a first game, this is rather nicely done
I won! Saved 12 sacred acorns! It seemed a bit to easy, it was easy enough to summon a ton of cacti, and it never seemed like I was in any actual danger. Still, its fun to play and it works really well, nicely done!
Well done! It's a small game but it works! :D It is kinda hard to tell exactly how big the hitboxes are, but that's nitpicking, as I didn't encounter any issue with it. Congratulations on publishing your first game!
Highscore: 38
Edit: Jeez, am I the only one who read the description? :p
haha, clever little game!
@armani03k That's awesome! thanks a lot! I love it! It does make me wonder if you figured out how to catch (tame) wild blockémon? Throwing fruit at them always heals them, but it also has a change of catching/taming them, the lower their HP the higher the chance (at full HP chance=0%, at 1 HP chance=75%)
At the start of the game, it says "the two bars on the right", but they're on the left side
interesting game, unfortunately, by the end of the first day I had already figured out what the best actions are, and there doesn't seem to be any change in this over the next days. There also didn't happen anything at the end of the 7th day. Nice game though!
Very high quality! Amazing you did this in a weekend! Captureld48.PNG I think I did alright, no?
A bit info on the game would be nice. Did you intend their to be obstacles?
Pretty cool! The lasso-mechanic makes it a cool addition and makes it a bit more unique. IMO trying to get the withe things is not worth the effort as it almost always caused a dark one to hit me, which is unfortunate. But definitely a cool game overall, and nice entry in the jam!
Very cool! At first I thought it was just a simple platformer, but then I found the thing, and then a second thing. Really interesting game design wise. It feels like the things are a metaphor for unhealthy relationships or dependencies. or maybe I'm just reading too much in to it. Great job!
Absolutely amazing! Super original and amazing that you managed to create this in just a weekend. And here's proof I finished the game:  thedeepend.png blurred to not spoil the final text
@harrison-dunn Then you were almost at the end! And thanks!
@massillon-magic More like 1,5 days :smirk: Thanks!
@pseudohausen Thanks! haha, that sound is just me saying "pshh", cause I couldn't find a good sound  And now that you mention it, it is a bit floaty indeed, I got so used to it that it didn't occur to me, but I actually made everything way too big (the ball is 1m big), which causes it to be so floaty.
@vectrex28 Thanks! Oh wow, I didn't encounter any bugs myself. Where did you clip into the void? The game will normally only send you to a checkpoint when you go out of bounds or have no strikes left and the ball stopped moving. When did that happen? Maybe I can still fix these bugs then  I'm glad you liked it this much!
@pseudohausen I actually increased the drag as I felt it takes to long for the ball to slow down. The gravity feels low because I made everything way too big and never even thought about it
@the-g Aha! a blender connoisseur!
Cool game! very atmospheric!
But is there a way to survive?
Good job for your first Ludum Dare. It's a fun little game
Cool concept and well made! A reset button would be nice, as it took a little time for me to realise how it all worked, and I had screwed myself over by that point. So I had to refresh the page.
How do the asteroids hit stuff that is far below exactly? It costs more to build lower, but asteroids still hit it somehow
Pretty easy, but cool concept. And I like how it looks and the light/darkness effect
Really cool idea and very well executed! super difficult though, my best was 16
@andykswong Wow, 120m! How do you get that far? My best now was 18 or something  And I really thought things through
Was the enemy-movement concept an original idea, or based on an existing game? (except chess ofcourse)
Pretty cool actually! Using the flares as thrust and light source is really nice! Got kinda far I think, but kept dying  Great work!
I did 24 laps and then I stopped believing you  The different lap messages made it fun, but I kinda wished the game itself changed more over time. Good Job!
Nice visual style! its kinda hard to see where you can go though, and you die from cold rather fast, so it took me a couple of tries to make even a little bit of progress. But definitely very impressive for a game made in a weekend!
Nice game! Very well made! Though Imo it's a bit unfair in certain cases, like dying from climbing a ladder too fast
pretty cool, but also rather tedious, but that's kinda the point ofcourse  Good job!
Very cool and polished look! The beginning was super frustrating though, took a while to get past the very first spikes. Also, when I get to the 1st solid ground after that, I see no way to continue but jump to my death, which I tried 5 times and then gave up because I see absolutely no way to continue. :/ Which is unfortunate cause it looks like a really cool game but seemingly unplayable for now.
Oh! I did try to cross the gap using the weapon recoil, but from higher up, and I was dead upon landing there, so I assumed that wasn't the way to go
Cool game! nice procedural cave system! the controls aren't always very responsive (especially jumping), and the game lags and speeds up constantly which makes it difficult to play sometimes. Also, when restarting the game seems stuck for quite a while before it finally restarts But overall a really game though!
Really well made!
Can't seem to make more than 300 dollars. Great game, well made!
It won't load for me.
Nothing happens when I deliver the crate. :/
@friesforfree Glad you liked it! Not sure what you mean though, you can't climb up, only way to go up is to swing your way up. Also walking works with wasd, or what do you mean?
it doesn't load for me :/
Fun game, well made, shooting doesn't seem to work though. Also, there's no penalty for going ofroad? (was expecting to move slower then). I really wish loading would take faster, and that it wouldn't make me redo the the part before the pickup each time.
Currently it's impossibly difficult though. :/
interesting story. Well written. Can't say I know what a twine gameis though
I can't run it. :/
I don't understand what to do. I can only seem to trash the alcohol I have in the cup. How do I get other types and how do I deliver them?
Edit: never mind, figured it out
