Wasn't sure if I was supposed to be able to progress after the first room. The setting was interesting, and the intro dialogue helped add to the mood and narrative. The flares seemed interesting but I didn't figure out the end goal during my playthrough

Interesting idea. The flares are your mobility and your light. The music is spirited. I wish there were a couple of sound effects though... I thought it was a good choice to use physics here it really gives the game a feeling that things are a little out of control. Good show!

Fun take on the dual (trial) purpose of mechanics. I was a bit confused at first but once it clicked...yeah that was it.

Death mechanic is a tad problematic (I've respawned with the same amount of bullets I had before dying) and the bullets are a bit too crazy to reliably use them. Other than that great game knowing the timeframe, nice concept !

Congratulations on your entry !

Pretty cool actually! Using the flares as thrust and light source is really nice! Got kinda far I think, but kept dying  Great work!

It took me a while to understand what the game wanted me to do. Tried pushing every typical jump button on the keyboard before finally rocket-jumping. It's certainly a cool mechanic – could be a lot of fun with slightly tweaked physics (the character movement is kinda sluggish, whereas the flares are really wild). I think this is pretty good, considering you had other stuff you had to deal with.

It is really a good game, i din't make it to the end, but it was fun to play, especially i liked that the flares are used for light and movement, but at the beginning it's hard to understand, how to get through first obstacle. Well done!
